The Secondary Saga - Prologue, Introductions
#21
Jan was already looking between the female that called herself "Christa" and also the General and Captain that spoke up. He loaded his gun for a second and ignored the other man who was taking a whiff on a cigarette and very carefully introduced himself to make himself known "Col. Jan Templar, of the ISA. Interplanetary Strategic Alliance. for those who don't know."

The man looked over at the stranger who called himself a "Captain". He frowned "What do you know about that talking ghost? and about this "Omni" god guy?"

He was going by what he had to know, and was sort of relieved by the end of the fighting between everyone, but who's to say it would last?

"Uhhhhhrr..." I murmured as the woman finally let me free of her cross-hairs. And while I was glad to no longer to be at immediate risk of my undeath being made into just plain death, I found myself wishing she had continued to keep me in her sights. In the time that our tense stand-off had taken, quite a menagerie of oddballs had arrived. From flying ponies to mustachioed safari hunters to bird-like fairies, each arrival seemed stranger than the last. Worse still, each one looked more delicious than the last as well.

As much as I loathe my current existence, it's still hard to rebel against the instincts that came with this body. I found myself hoping and praying that the group wouldn't grow much larger, as I was having quite a time trying to keep my undeath-driven hunger from overwhelming me. Ugh... If I didn't need these guys to help me get to Omni, I'd probably just give up and let my instincts take over. Maybe one of the others would get off a lucky shot and put me out of my misery. But, as I looked around at the group, the fear tinged in their eyes gave me the resolve to keep fighting. I might be a monster now, but I wasn't always and perhaps with their help I would be human again.

The little ghost with the tranquil tone directed him here. She claimed she could help him find Omni, claimed that she could indeed make his elusive dream a reality. What else could he do but believe her? He already exhausted every other option, wasting time and effort chasing leads far less believable. Some outride laughable.

Traversing the woodland was harsh—Pinocchio had the grass stains across his shins to testify—but after navigating through the entangled shrubbery the marionette finally arrived to his destination.

There were plenty of people, varying in gender and attire—at least a dozen, by Pinocchio’s quick head-count—, all lounging around, waiting; some stood, some sat, but all of them were expecting something. Bars of light, beaming through the canopy, made most of the figures’ visages impossible to depict, but from their statures he knew they were strong. There were even some autonomous objects—like himself—in the group.

They must have all gotten the same memo Pinocchio received: Omni in the ‘Greens.

Pinocchio spectated, crouched behind the shrouding of a tall tree’s uproots, which seemed like petrified snakes that emerged from the grass and twined up the trunk of the tree, eventually stretching out and around the high branches. His fingers clenched the bark of the roots as he pulled his head over just far enough to view ahead.

The pistols holstered on a few of the persons’ waist caught his attention immediately. The light glinted off of them in twinkles. Pinocchio never felt the burning of a round, personally, but ever since he mysteriously arrived into the Omniverse, rumors of the horrors they caused circulated stronger than flies around shit. They said it boomed like lightning, and burned holes into its victims.

Drat! Pinocchio thought as he dunked his head under the uproots, swinging around to sit on his bottom.

He laced his carven fingers together upon his lap. Even if there were no firearms, some of the burlier men in the crowd could probably break him in two; if he closed his eyes he could envision his back splintering, splitting, snapping like a falling tree, and ripping his tethered, fake overall suspenders.

Pinocchio gritted his teeth. Too bad Gingy wasn’t around; he could just summon Mongo. Of course, if Gingy had known of Pinnochios plans to search for Omni he would have brought it to a halt.

The marionette had to do this one solo.

Klaud was leaning against a the tree while observing, judging the people around her. Some looked quite peculiar, some she didn't trust from the first impression but there we also those that she could see as potential allies. She was not the only person with somewhat of a military background. Near her was a young man with short dark hair standing near her. The emblem on his heavy armor, the gun, his way of standing and observing, all signs of him being a military man. But he seems to be more confused than any of the others, perhaps he only recently got taken into the Omniverse, or did the ghost-girl get to him as well ?

“So what brings a general to the front lines?” Klaud turned her head towards the older gentleman that approached her. Her eye quickly moves up and down as she quickly observed the man's appearance. He was an older man who must have seen many hardships, not only did his eyes betray the suffering and pain he has gone through over the years, he was also missing his left arm. Even though the man may have seen better days in his youth he stroke her as friendly and though. His clothing and weapon suggested that he as well could be a military man.

"Same as any of you, the search for the one they call Omni. Besides, where i am from, Generals are expected to stand in the frontlines. What about yourself ? You strike me as someone who has seen his fair share of combat ?"

The man offered her a friendly smile " You may be right about that one, and yes, Omni is also the reason I am here today. The name is Isaac" His right hand was extended towards Klaud as a greeting which she gladly accepted and shook his hand. " General Klaud Nine, but in this place Klaud will do just fine. So what is your take on all of this ?" She nodded towards the others in the rather unusual group which only became bigger in numbers.

"I am not quite sure myself yet, we have some very, unique individuals."

"That we have indeed, and to be honest i have trouble seeing myself working with several of them. Glad to see some people with some military background here as well. Hopefully common ground like that will suffice as a foundation for cooperation and trust within a group like this." Klaud's words were carefully picked and observed the man's reaction.

"Perhaps, yes" Again he offered a gentle smile. It was difficult for Klaud to read him and was not completely sure what he meant by that. But before she got a chance to ask him the young soldier behind him which she was observing earlier loaded his gun for everyone to see before introducing himself to the group.

"Col. Jan Templar, of the ISA. Interplanetary Strategic Alliance. for those who don't know."

" A colonel hmm? So what does a Colonel want with Omni ?"

Jan turned his attention towards Klaud and Isaac as she addressed him. He approached the duo, taking another whiff of his cigarette before talking to them. " Ma'am i don't even know who this Omni character is everyone is talking about. What the hell is going on here"

Both Isaac and Klaud looked at him for a moment. He clearly hasn't been in the Omniverse very long. But if the ghost-girl led him here he had a reason to be here .

"It seems there is much you need to know soldier. The story i am about to tell you might strike you as odd at first but it is the truth."
Klaud and Isaac both began explaining to him where he was and what was happening. At least as much as they knew themselves. Which wasn't a whole lot when it came to the ghost-girl.

During their talk the group only expanded. Just how many more were joining them ? Klaud just hoped she made some allies for the venture to come.

Grave watched as the large and rathe bulky pirate in the crowd made an attempt to soothe the intimidated and chaotic nerves of those around him, and introduced himself as 'Captain Crow'. Surprise surprise, he's a captain. I guess I should probably go introduce myself too, he ponder as he began a stroll across the vividly coloured ground, hands in his pockets. The group grew and grew, this proving his theory incorrect. If anything, he was rather early to the party.

He found his perch upon a large pile of foliage, possibly with a tree stump hidden underneath, and looked out over the pandemoniac crowd of misfits and... Other fantastic beasts.

"The Cap'n's right," he called over the ragtag band before him, "Fighting isn't going to get us anywhere. We're all here to find Omni, or I hope at least. And in reply to your question," he turned to face Crow, "Yes, I was approached by a rather unpleasant ghost," he swore he could feel Alice's tiny fangs dig into the back of his neck slightly. He turned back to the crowd, "Allow me to be the next to introduce myself. My name is Grave, and I've come here for one reason and one reason only; to kill our lovely god and escape this toybox of his creation,"

Klaud certainly carried an air of authority around her; one that despite Isaac’s general distrust for authority he could not help but find endearing. Perhaps it was the old dog of a soldier in his heart that made him feel a little bit more at home within the group now that several other soldier types had made their presence known. It had been so long since he found kinship among warriors that he had almost forgotten how powerful a bond could be forged between comrades. Isaac smiled again and thought back to happier times, before he was given his cursed power.

His daydream was shattered as the colonel introduced himself, he turned to face Jan and let Klaud do the talking. Being more reserved than Klaud he allowed her to explain the ropes of the Omniverse to Jan, only interjecting when necessary. The Bloodlance knew when to stay quiet and watch, his steel grey eyes scanned every member of the group. Certainly some very strange characters had gathered here, all of them led by that mysterious specter. Who was this strange poltergeist? She seemed intent on bringing them there, but for what end? Isaac’s mind processed these questions and yet he could not find a suitable answer.

“Isn’t that correct Isaac?” Klaud asked him, once again ripping him from his daydream.

He smiled and nodded, unsure of what exactly he was reaffirming “yes, that is correct General... Er, sorry I mean Klaud.”

She frowned slightly “you weren’t listening were you?”

“Sorry, I got distracted” he offered a light-hearted shrug and continued “I guess in my old age my mind wanders.” Isaac hated playing the age card, but he hoped that such an admission would keep him in the general’s good graces.

Jan took mental notes on everything Klaud, the female general and Isaac had to say. "So... let me get this straight.... I was taken off the field of battle from my crew of men and woman only to get stuck here for reasons even I'm not sure of?"

Jan then said another thing, keeping his gun down at his side. He had to have respect for Klaud. Not only was she higher ranked than him, he had a better reason to ally with these two.

"You know my name, and I know both of yours now."

Jan remained quiet for a second and then said "Isaac, Klaud. I prefer we team up. We could accomplish a lot more that way. "

"But... there's no guarantees if one of our group tries to take on one of its own. I'd prefer if that didn't happen. "

At first, she thought it was a dream and then changed her mind, deciding it was too real to be one, and then concluded, it was an illusion, but Zora found herself in an area of Tangled Green’s seemingly, never ending forest, which she had never set her paws on. People generally perceived all woods to be the same no matter what part of the world you found one, but for the Zoroark, an inhabitant of Lostlorn forest her entire life, begged to differ. Despite having spent a duration of five months in Tangled Green since being sucked into the Omniverse, she still had trouble finding her way around the place.

Another noteworthy piece of information was that she had not seen another Zoroark in that five month span, but had laid eyes upon a variety of creatures that she never in her wildest dreams imagined she would come across, such as orcs and goblins, hideously looking enough to intimidate a human, but Zoroark’s were fearless Pokémon. Dark type Pokémon in general had a reputation as the intimidators, not the intimidated. Even ghost type pocket monsters knew their place, and the brave ones (or foolish some would say) paid the price for failing to stay in their lane.

Zora had come across ninjas too. She had also experienced first-hand, their capabilities in combat, after a couple had rubbed her off the wrong way, and could attest that they were capable of giving a Hitmonlee, and even a Lucario, a run for their money.

Elves seemed to be the only creatures in Tangled Green that did not emit a hostile vibe. Practically every elf she had come across seemed friendly. Zora would never return a smile directed at her, but their soothing aura was still quite comforting.

A frown reappeared on the Zoroark’s face as she thought about the girl that had the audacity to play the illusion trick on her. Zora was the one who altered people’s perceptions; it was not supposed to be the other way around.

Zora could not trace the annoying girl who had giggled after every sentence she had uttered to the Zoroark, but she was not alone. In fact, she had plenty of company.

Zora growled fiercely. She was not used to big crowds, therefore felt immediate discomfort. While the skin on her snout wrinkled as she continued to grimace and her pointy ears twitched, she slipped into a fighting stance, menacing eyes surveying each group member, from left to right. Although the people had gathered to achieve a common goal, there were quite a number of shady looking people that the Zoroark would not hesitate to dismantle if they were to provoke her.

Nevertheless, Zora was on guard. She would be damned if she were going to taking any chances and drop her guard, for even a split second among the random group of people.
Once Creator left for the Ashen, I started to head to the Fountain. It seemed the most reasonable since I still had no idea where the quest was to begin. All that I was able to download into my system were small traces left by something on the dataverse. I found it interesting,as well as very suspicious, and from what I could tell it reached out pretty far across the omniverse. I kept my background functions searching as I hovered along the plain smooth ground, until my system discovered something, or actually, until something had discovered my system.

Incoming call, please confirm communication

I stopped for a moment to investigate further,as my communications mechanism began to vibrate, signaling that it required a response..

"That's odd, the only people I have come in contact with are Creator and Connor, but it seems that this caller is neither. I may as well answer..." I approved my communications the cal was confirmed. "Helloo. IRIS speaki-"

Systems rebooting. Checking systems. No threat detected. Initializing systems...Complete

My system rebooted, and I slowly started up my vision and sensing software, as well as my HUD. The last thing I remembered was being in the Nexus... the bluish glow on the glow from my eye turning a crimson red, and some image, a human girl... but, she wasn't alive. As I reactivated my antigravity system to hover again, I looked around. My sensors detected an enormous amount of plant life, as well as a abundant amount of humidity in the air. With just that information I knew that I was in the Tangled Green before my GPS even loaded, confirming my thoughts. I needed to check my data logs to see how I arrived here.

ERROR. No data

Well that's odd.

Any and all information from after I shut down to when I rebooted was deleted. I couldn't even find anything recorded on the dataverse. Odd indeed.

-BEEP- New Alert

How convenient. Hopefully this can explain something. I checked the dataverse message and found a large advertisement for finding Omni. Unlike the other ones, this felt different, a tinge of truth to it. "Hidden Ruins in Tangled Green" was written in bold words across the screen, and was accompanied by a web image. The web image was jumbled and out of focus, but with my software, I was able to get a better picture and saw a small entrance to some ruins, with a small cave nearby. I tried tracking the page source, but it was impossible to decipher the code. However, I was able to discover a gps location and one small fact from the data.. None of the respondents seemed to be summoned by Omni, meaning they were all secondaries, which proved my first hunch from the data I found while in the Nexus that this mission would be aimed to secondaries.. It was possible that this may be a trap, possibly even a mass killing of secondaries, but either way, I am going to find out what's going on. Nobody messes with my internal drive and gets away with it.

With this information I stormed off into the Greens. The GPS location was nearby, and I began to hear voices in the distance. Perhaps other secondaries that had found the ad as well. Of course there would be others that arrived earlier, my internal clock shows that I was powered down for a while.

I arrived at the scene of what I would like to call, a "buttload" of secondaries. Some were clearly confused, as others were explaining certain things to them, and other skulked along the sidelines, watching the others. Among the secondaries were military personnel, a zombie, a fairy, a captain, and many others. I joined those among the sidelines to survey the others, wondering if anyone had noticed me yet. Hopefully I could blend among them as well as that one robot with his clever disguise. Oh how I wish I brought my prize helmet.

Needled darts, sharpened spears, and steely arrows whizzed by her ears, fluffing up the loose strands of hair that fell over her shoulders. A quick, analytical gaze cast to the forest, hidden by dark shadows from the canopy of trees. Night was crawling close and her guess had been correct. Too many people, too much noise.

And now, they were prey.

Orcs. It was a raid of orcs where flint seared like hot cinder and tribal drums began to play. Their numbers, the girl estimated by the proximity of the attack, were just about the same as there were people gathered and slowly increasing. Orcs were territorial and upon a closer look, there were bold markings etched on tree and stone alike.

Christa lowered her body to the ground in a hidden squat as she braced herself behind a nearby rock for cover. The soldier savored the second when she raised her pistol and fired a blasting bullet into the air.

Quote: OOC: THIS THREAD IS CLOSED! Unless you have talked to me or gave me a heads up, get atta here!

This ends phase one, day one. To conclude the thread our secondary party has been attacked by ORCS! The Orc raid will continue in the following thread (Day 2), which will be put up TOMORROW! (WED 12!)

DAY TWO WILL LAST ONLY TWO DAYS OOC

For those curious, we are taking a day off to judge and give people the chance to catch up on their reading ;)

Also, if you really want, you can pre-write your post because the Orc raid will be the majority of it and/or you know you will be busy that day. Prepare for battle!

Lastly! Because this thread has so many wonderful participants, please when you are using another character for dialogue or interaction, state the name for coherency (all the time). You won't get deducted for repetitive pronouns and I want to know who is doing what with who, because grading. And it's simply clearer that way.

THE INTRODUCTION HAS ENDED and so has my mercy

Happy writing!

Grobdum cackled insanely as his Warboss led the WAAAGH! into battle, the greenskins pouring into the clearing as a flood of stone, bone, and savage intention. The chattering mandibles of the giant spider he rode chattered, poison dribbling from their tips as it skittered from tree trunk to tree trunk. Its striped legs, bright red and black, scurried with an unsettling speed as it carried the tiny shaman towards the fray, his bloodlust at a boil.

The magic of the WAAAGH! bubbled up in him, green sparks popping and shooting from him as he drew in psychic energy created by the fervor of his comrades. Frothing to the surface, Grobdum’s eyes sizzled with a neon power before erupting into a pair of wildly zig-zagging bolts of magical energy. As the twin forces struck the ground at the center of the group, they exploded like fireworks into streaming, crackling bolts that randomly shot in every direction. The maelstrom of power scorched the earth and shattered the trunks of trees as they sputtered and cracked, wounding any who were too stupid or slow to evade them.

Arrows began to snap from the tree line, the other spider-mounted goblins letting loose a mostly-aimless volley. More than a few found the backs of the brutish orcs, though the larger and tougher of them barely seemed to notice. The wave of monstrous savage orcs pushed the inhabitants of the clearing onto one side, a natural line forming as gunfire, lasers, and blades hacked down the first assault.

The cascade of chaos, bloodlust, and violence surged through the goblin’s body, his brain almost unable to contain the sheer magnitude of the powers at hand. As he and his mount scuttled from the trees down onto the soil, his shrill voice ecstatically shrieking, “Get ‘dem choppas in ‘em, boyz!”

Several of the bright-red arachnids surged from every direction, circumnavigating the grove to the trees behind the stalwart defenders. Bone-tipped spears were thrust down upon the huddled mass, the trilling warcries of the goblins creating a divide of attentions just great enough that the orcs on the other flank could close the distance and engage.

The magic-addled brain of the shaman bounced from target to target, the furious energy of the moment somewhat overwhelming him. He lifted his staff into the air, froth literally forming in the corners of his mouth.

A massive fur-and-feather-laden orc, a huge chunk of metal that vaguely resembled a cleaver in his thick fingers, kicked the frenetic shaman in the back, gesturing towards the battle. “Oi, gobbo! Get ta blastin’!”

Recoiling from the massive brute, the goblin’s scrambled brain searched for the right words, his face plastered with the appearance of guilt. “Right, boss man!” he squeaked, the feathers that formed his mantle trembling.

“Good!” he roared, hefting the huge choppa over his head and charging forward.

As soon as the Warboss plodded beyond Grobdum, the goblin’s eyes narrowed into a sinister glare. “I’ll get ta blastin’!” he cackled, his skull-tipped staff now pointed at the hulking beast’s back. The magic flowed through him once again, two erratic bolts of green energy heedlessly careening forth before blowing the orc in half in a spray of fizzling green pops.

“Hey!” Top Man waved to the free-floating camera hovering a few feet in front of him. “Top Man, here, and I just entered the Tangled Green a little bit ago. I’ve been here before, and it doesn’t seem like they’ve done anything about the mosquitoes. How can you fleshies handle this nonsense? Little insects always trying to poke you?

“Anyway, I’ve been following something called a ‘Ghost Girl,’ that’s supposed to lead me straight to everyone’s favorite OG, Omni. I’m really hopin’ this is all that I have to do, because it’d be awesome if this guy just made trips to verses. Part of me thinks this is all just some terrible trap, but y’know what? No one lives forever.

“Anyway, so I’m thinking I can’t be too far behind the rest of the people tracking this thing. Yea, you heard me. Other people. I ain’t stupid. Plus… I’m a damn robot, so I know things. But for now, I’mma play it by my chest, you dig? I’ve been in my fair share of scrapes, Folks. You guys remember Volvagia? That big ole fire-breathing bro? I was scraping off the stains for months after that one.

“So let’s rock and roll, you feel me? Something tells me yinz are gonna love this one.”

***

Of all the places in the entire Omniverse, they just had to pick the Tangled Green.

That sad reality floated all around Top Man’s ‘brain’ as he trudged through detritus and overgrown scrubs. If his sensors and maps were correct, there was a big ole mass of things up ahead, which told him that’s where he needed to be. He doubted that the ghost girl was telling the truth, but even if Omni wasn't just hanging out in the trees, there would certainly be clues. He could live with clues... clues would keep viewers entertained and guessing along with their hero. With any luck, there’d be some violence. For whatever reason, his subscribers loved it whenever he got into scuffles. Violence sells?

As he stumbled ahead, Top Man heard what sounded like shouting and yelling in the distance. As he drew closer, he stumbled over a root jutting up from the ground. Although he was naturally graceful, he let himself fall, because it made people laugh. Only instead of laughs, someone called out to him from a few feet away. “You okay?” Top Man lifted up his head to see a small wooden boy standing nearby.

“Yea,” the Robot Master replied as he stood up off the ground and brushed the leaves away. A quick glance over his shoulder revealed that his camera was still doing its job, so he turned to the boy. “I’m Top Man… who are you?” As the question lingered in the air, both the wooden boy and the metal preteen heard a terrifying ruckus from the other side of the clearing they boarded.
It was a chilly night. Days of almost incessant rain had robbed the city streets of any warmth, turning them into a frigid and desolate labyrinth. Even at that moment, the irregular pitter-patter of raindrops continued unabated, the water pelting the rooftops and cobblestone roads.

The poor weather did nothing to make the stables any less of a wretched place to be. Driblets leaked through the cracks in the wooden ceiling and the moisture only served to amplify the sharp malodour of horse manure. Nonetheless, aside from the few animal residents, there was another that had sought shelter there for the lack of any better place to stay.

Lying on a haystack was a pointy-eared girl, a hooded cloak draped over her petite arms. The golden locks of her hair were caught up in the fodder as she twisted and turned in her sleep. Yet, it wasn't the cold and the rain that disturbed her rest and made her uneasy — something was haunting Lyra's very dreams.

Deep within the recesses of her mind appeared a white figure...one that should not have been there. Though Lyra had known many other children in her lifetime, she never recalled seeing the small girl that now filled her thoughts. She wore a frilly and elegant nightgown, long enough to practically serve as a dress. Yet, in stark contrast, her long hair was all loose ruffled, almost as though something had happened to her. She stared right back at the Hylian girl with her sad eyes, a smile on her young face: "You feel lonely, don't you?....That's ok, I feel the same way...."

The street urchin was confused...and frightened. Who was she? How did she know this? Nobody knew her well enough to tell that she felt that way...no one in the Omniverse, at least.

"But you don't have to be alone anymore. There are others....and they're looking for the same thing."

Others? What others? And what thing?

"You want to find Omni, don't you? He has the answers you want....answers to the questions that burn inside you and keep you up at night..."

It was true. This wasn't the first night that she did not sleep well. Her curiosity had kept her awake. She wanted to know why she was there, who brought her here....she wanted to know why they had condemned her to such a lonely existence.

"They want to find him too. This is your chance...Go find them in Tangled Green, where the elves reside. They will be here."

It was then that an image flashed in her mind. It was the image of an ancient temple, its design completely unfamiliar to the Hylian girl. The forest surrounding was also unlike any she had ever seen. As the image faded, the ghastly girl reappeared.

"Go and find them. I'll be watching...and waiting."

It was then that a single raindrop hit her forehead. With a loud gasp, Lyra awoke and threw herself in a sitting position, strewing hay all about. Panting, her mind raced as she thought about what she had experienced. Her face was wet — whether from sweat, tears or rainwater, she could not say.
Lyra hadn't known what to expect as she found herself nearing what she thought was the location of the temple. Even to her, the idea of following the instructions of a ghost that appeared in her dreams seemed like madness. But she had been tired of being in the same gloomy and hostile Minas Tirith, tired of not knowing why she was in the Omniverse. This was the first time she had a solid lead. Even if the chances of finding out where Omni was were remote, she wanted to take it...she had to.

And so, in spite of her misgivings, she braved the Nexus in order to reach this place. Yet, the unfamiliar environment surrounding her made her nervous, her hands firmly grasping her bow. Though a city was a 'jungle' in its own way, it was still a product of human nature and so subject to certain patterns. The Hylian girl had learned these so well over the years that she could often guess what secrets the buildings hid just by looking at them. But in the actual jungle, there was no such order. The trees grew close to each other in random and haphazard locations, their branches and the bushes hiding many exotic animals...some even dangerous.

But she stopped paying attention to the variety of yells and sounds coming from the depths of the jungle as she heard a commotion in the distance — drums and clashing of steel. Fearing the worst, she began to sprint in that direction.

As she approached, the sounds of battle became louder, mixed with noises she had never heard before — rattles, bangs and pew pews resounding far and wide. Entering the clearing, she came to a halt. Positioned in various defensive positions in front of the temple was a varied group of individuals. She didn't know who they were — or indeed what some of them even were. However, the street urchin suspected that these were the people she was looking for.

But as she suspected, they were engaged in battle. Assaulting them were green giants, clothed in leather and skins, giant bows and axes in their hands. Crying out in bloodlust, they continued their onslaught unabated, determined to down their prey.

It seemed that they noticed the Hylian girl as well as she heard projectiles flying nearby. Instinctively throwing herself to the ground, she noticed several spears flying overhead. But as she looked up, she also noticed something in the sky, a....flying pony. This unusual sight should have stunned her immediately, but her instincts overcame her instead. Turning around, she noticed one of the attacking creatures taking an aim at the colourful winged creature.

Without even thinking she yelled out: "Look out!"
