From Hell, To Hell. (Open)
#1
"Where am I?" Darkness surrounded Rin, the only thing that could be seen were two white eyes accompanied by a smile. He tried to say something, but found that he could say nothing at all. The only thing he could do, was scowl. The face pissed him off, seemed like it was laughing at his misfortune. "Who is this guy?" He thought. And almost as if his thoughts were being read, he received an answer.

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

That just pissed him off even more, and he tried to clench his fist and glare at this.. Thing, but again; there was no response. "He better hurry and explain these rules so I can get the hell out of here!" Then, Omni gave him a glimmering orb that had all of the colors of a rainbow. This made all of his rage go away, since it was pretty enough to divert his attention.

Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."

"What I desire most?" Even when he thought about it, Rin didn't actually know what he desired. It seemed most of his memories were far to hazy to remember anything important, so any goals he had seemed to have disappeared.

Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. "

'Is this gonna be some kind of competition?"

Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

"That's it? And what are you waiting for?" He thought, hoping for some kind of response. But soon after, the darkness faded away, and was replaced with a seemingly endless white landscape. "Whoah!" He exclaimed as his eyes lit up. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.. But how did he get here?

Rin sat down on the fountain so that he could try and think about the past, but it seemed that all he could remember were just a few words or phrases. "Son of satan? Pops? Yukio? What does that mean? Damnit!" He shouted, standing up once more. There were a few moments he waited before looking into the distance, where he finally noticed the various gates on the horizon.

This turned out to be another distraction from his frustration, as he took a few minutes to examine and each gate and think about how cool they were, as well as trying to decide which one he should go to first. Then he got back to what he was doing before. "I'll just assume I'm the son of Satan. Maybe this is hell?" Saying this made him cringe for some odd reason, but for no he ignored it, probably just the same frustration from before.

Rin remembered the "Omnillium" that was given to him, and wondered where it had gone. Just as he began looking for it, it suddenly came from the center of his torso. "What the hell!" He yelled as the orb slowly made it's way out of his body. It was surprising that didn't hurt, but for now he would try making something with it. After all, he was told he could make anything he wanted.

The first thing he would make, would be the first thing that came to mind. So he grabbed the omnillium and extended his hand. Rin thought about whatever came to mind, closed his eyes, and concentrated as much as he could. This was fairly difficult for him, but after a few minutes, he finally felt his hand get a bit heavier. He smiled and opened his eyes, and saw that he was now holding a frying pan.

"Why was a frying pan the thing that came to mind?" He wondered. Suddenly, a flash back occurred. It seemed that a younger version of himself was preparing dinner for a group of people. It was strange to him that the son of satan would be a cook, but whatever. Maybe he was good at it? Rin through the frying pan aside, then looked back toward the gates, which he would now try and decide which to one to visit.
