I was orignally thinking bezerker boots, because that sort of made sense for DG, but Luffy called dips and he's a cool dude, so the only thing that really interests me is the dagger of time

Doomy if you really want the boots that's alright. I mean, they make perfect sense for you character, more so than even Luffy. I like to think I'm creative enough to make any of the Artefacts work somehow IC. Plus you placed second I can't rob you of what you want. So it's up to you!

While I thank you for that Luffy, on the other hand I kinda psyched myself on the dagger when I realized it might be the dagger from Prince of Persia, and the idea of Doomguy with space time rewind powers is just amazing

Yes. If the bezerker boots are the one from LoL, then it would probably be a speed stat boost. That's nice, but speed isn't really what I want with DG, and the sands of time makes for far better RP fodder in my mind
