A Quest to Redeem a Princess’s Honor - Dataverse is for Porn

Description: A recent problem as of late is the influx of shapeshifter porn. People that could take on different forms, appear as celebrities and then make porn videos as them. Because of this, you could find nude pictures of anyone who as every gained recognition, and actually videos of celebrities having sex are common hot sellers.

One studio has featured Guu in one of their videos. They’ve been tracked down and their location is hidden in the Tangled. Considering they didn’t hesitate to feature a child in their works, that means no one is safe, especially the large underage population of Ambrosia.

You’re mission is to get to the studio and shut them down. The job must be done discreetly. The dataverse must not discover that Ambrosia was responsible for shutting down a porn studio; the backlash would only make things worse. Other than that, I don’t care how you do it as long as it’s done.

Quest Stipulation: Again, discretion is extremely important in this mission. It must be believable or the mission will count as a failure.

Hey Guu, because this is a meaningful quest I figured I might make a few notes (just on a few minor things as I continue with the quest such as I might include pictures of the characters Gildarts is up against) I will also ask questions about Ambrosia here or PM you.


A solo discussion thread? I know, but I wanted to not hog your entire box and because it is a quest I wanted it to have its own thread.

This is also where you can decide if his mission is a success or a failure. Or if you're gonna judge it, go ahead and do so here.

To start off, I wanted to just clarify the first couple of paragraphs in the thread are a bit of ‘update/ catch up’ sort of thing. They outline where he has been in the last few days of his Omniverse adventure, as well as give Gildarts himself a little time to reflect on how trapped he is. Normally I would go about this in a different way, but because Gildarts is a bit difficult to ‘review’ for and it is hard to get a charcter with his challenges to go about reflecting the past in a progressive way, I’ve done it this way. Not to mention DA is coming up there’s a bit of a crunch for where I wanted to fit in a vague sense of perspective (where he could think about Ambrosia as his home rather than longing for Fiore).

Because Gildarts essentially doesn’t know where the Porn place is, he might have a few foresty adventures along the way, but for the most part he’s clean and on task. #sidetracked

“Death is a Silent Song” Part 1 is how he manages to arrive there. There’s really not much that pertains directly to the quest’s confrontation in part one. It’s essentially recap and involvement of the blight. I like it that way though.

Part two is his encounter with the actual studio and potentially an all out raid will ensue.

Part three takes place in Coruscant, where Gildarts is sent to retrieve the ‘copied’ data file which the video was stored. He is on a crunch for time as he must get it back before it is uploaded (assumably the following day). He’s not alone as he gets help from an orphaned girl who was unknowingly working for the porn studio.

The last segment basically outlines how he must break into a vault like building, surpass security with minimal detection and do this within twenty-four hours.

Will he succeed or will he be compromised?


-> Anyone who is familiar with Fairy Tail, I’ve still not returned to Gildarts the memory that he has a daughter. He’s been caught up in adventures (for that reason) and I’m still brainstorming the idea of how to wedge it in, as well as how knowing this will change him. I don’t potentially see him bringing Cana to the Omniverse because he’s never been a strongly inclined as a father figure, nor would he want to exile her from her world.

So I hope to take a few suggestions before having him remember. (I don’t plan to incorporate it until after DA, notice for Ambrosia, Gildarts will probably plan to go back there and personally inform Guu about the Blight --See Email-- and then brainstorm the best way to stop it. Perhaps even be deployed into the Pale Moors with a party if it comes to that).

So far for Cana I really haven’t thought of anything that stands out, dreams, a hit to his thick skull, perilous defense of a helpless person. Acnologia himself I can appreciate as an encounter more than anything else, but I still don’t know how I’d go about that so soon on his Ominverse adventure.

Spoiler: In the future I’d also like to put a bounty on his head in Coruscant, but not at all connected to his jailbreak at Impel Down.

Gildarts is going to discover the Dataverse and will make a few Twitter posts that might reveal some of what he is doing (nothing about ambrosia) but it alludes to his quest as right now (I can't post the next one at this exact time) but it involves crashing into a secure system in the lower Tiers of DA and infiltrating the information black market. I'll assume any evidence might trace back would be a 'no' but your call. As you could respond ro his antics in a Guu way.

Well, as long as you're not mentioning what information you're after, it should be fine. I doubt the local law enforcement will report on what was exactly destroyed so the internet won't find out. Though, you'll be the #1 suspect of the crime after the fact. xD

Gildarts descends the floors of the secure building, as the entire place is one big secure vault. The building that is the storage for the black market’s information, he assumes there is a safe below were he can extract Guu’s secret. He descends one by one, facing the eventual layers of challenges in his path.

Gildarts meets Molly in front of the vaulted door, but she has been caught by a competent guard who threatens to kill her. Gildarts risks it all to save her and for good reason, as he soon finds the vault is empty and has but a single thing in there. No desk, no chair, but a computer sitting on the cement floor.

GO MOLLY’s HACKING SKILLS!

I like this ending better than the fact that he could just find a printed copy of the information, because of the lovely teamwork. And that it only makes sense.[/spoiler]

This mission actually turned out to be longer than I wanted it to be ._. but it just kind of happened...
Sometimes when i’m including a spoiler, I accidentally write “Spoilers” because of doctor who.

I think I have too much fun in these discussion threads. *Scrolls to see caps and craziness*

As for improvement, I have a whole lot of Gildarts in this section, rather than breaking up the content with NPC’s, so uh... yeah, Da will be good for me.

Lastly, with the quest “complete” Gildarts is going to head off to Da, then he probably will either return to coruscant (or ill postpone that) and I’ll have him return to tangled and meet up with guu with a more formal message about the blight. Proto said he would work on the Necron lord’s stats/moves with me, to make the rivalry more efficient, and I think it would be a good idea to hold off for me until I’m more sure of what I want.

Ending: [spoiler]as for this part, I just thought it would make a good conversion to da, or later the involvement of necrons. Nothing too special, and the empire is chasing someone who looks like him but only his physique is identifiable and his name is unknown. No bounty (yet) because they want him for questioning only.[/spoiler]
