Female Wizard clothes - Guu - 07-28-2017

I have this crazy idea for a female wizard for a hypothetical pathfinder game. Well, the spirit of said character won't leave until I've drawn her.

One of the challenges, outside actually drawing human shapes, is deciding on an outfit. I know Spoony's old advice about not making it obvious you're a spellcaster as it plants a target on your head, so the classic connical hat and robes are out. So what would be good for her to wear? I mean, something cute and kind of revealing, but isn't stereotypically spellcaster clothing.

To get an idea who she is, she's a tiefling wizard literally birthed from a sheep. Because of this, she has white cotton hair, a long prehensile sheep tail, and cloven feet. I plan to give her darker skin to give stark contrast with her hair, but I don't HAVE to go that route.

Use Disguise Self to always look like you're in heavy armor. :p

*gets extremely distracted imagining a prehensile sheep's tail*

Uhm... I would suggest something a little more rouge-esque? Maybe draw off of some more peasant/pastoral styles since the character's background? It really is wide open. I would certainly recommend that the thing look practical for use as an adventurer. One of my pet peeves is unrealistic fantasy clothing *COUGH* COUGH* WARCRAFT *COUGH*

Then again, I may just be that guy.

Sheep tails naturally come long, just farmers cut them short: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5295/5535736172_83ac584d5f_m.jpg

I'll definitely consider rogue or pastoral. In fact, I have considered going with a shepherd look considering... well... she's the master of her own destiny. She's her own flock...

Though, she would more wear it as a joke than anything. Her adoptive farm parents more raised her as a sheep than they did a farmer, so their manner of dress didn't rub off on her.

Yknow, that's actually a good idea, but Guu try using Disguise Self to just make it look like a knight in light metal armor instead. Disguise as a heavy armored person and you'll have to pretend to move slowly and stuff, and that sounds like a lot of work.

I think the Tales series has a lot of great outfits for spellcasters and great outfits in general. Knowing the personality of your character would help, but here are a few off the top of my head:
