As a note, this thread had a lot of Paul (and Matrix too) basically cleaning out a LOT of bandit camps/raiders. Paul has been leaving dramatic markers (bodies of bandits laid out with the words "Mu'dib" spelled out in big letters) all across the deeper desert. I've got about 8k word count for that. I think Paul would be a great fit with Roland and his sheriffs.
Could I parlay that into the completion of the quest to join him if I did another thread where Paul comes to speak to Roland (dan-dinh fashion) about his actions? He'd serve his dinh well as a bondsman ;-)

Pending the verdict, "pass or fail" Marty the astronomer will say different things (or you could have him say the things).
I did mention a little of the backstory in it, and I hope that was not breaking any unestablished rule, if not I will gladly change it.

Paul: You're free to use that thread as a sort of segue into meeting Roland, but it wouldn't substitute for the Quest. You'd still have to find your way to him and then do some work for him. Your doings in the Dunes will add some nice flavor to the quest, though.

However the first bit of the thread wasn't created with the quest in mind (It hadn't even been released yet).

Now I'm not sure if there is a preset killer in Ambrosia, but I was hoping to end it with Chad being the killer. The final scene would be Renji confronting and fighting Chad, and *hopefully* slaying him.
