Land of Abandonment and Friends (LOAAF)

Frisk's world has heavily varied environments, from snow-capped mountains to rain-forests to even a land covered in volcanoes and natural gas. Despite this, however, and aside from the local flora and the occasional fauna, almost no sentient life can be found anywhere on the planet. True to its name, the planet has been practically abandoned and left to function on its own. The few sentient lifeforms that remain are most likely underground, slowly dying out but waiting for a chance to repopulate and fill the planet with life once more.

Frisk's Quest would be rather idealistic. She would attempt to restore life to the otherwise lifeless world and bring back the consorts hibernating beneath the ground. Due to being the Bard of Blood, this goal will help satisfy her dependency on companions and hopefully keep her in line for a while.

Although I think the Land and Quest is fine, I could use a second opinion and maybe other suggestions just in case it doesn't fit.

I'm not sure if "restoring life" would be a quest for a Bard of Blood, not because of the aspect, but more because of how Bards work. Like Princes, they inhately destroy their aspect and then later, through their aspect. More so with Bards, since they're passive clases, and do this by simply existing (unlike Princes who actively engage in activities that invole destroying their aspect)

And, just like Princes (and Thiefs too), their quest is more about learning to canalize their powers away from their friends, not really learning to use them. Your character is one who wreacks havoc and disorganizes groups, destroying the bonds between people, and making them fight each other. With a power like this, is primorial your character uses it against her enemies, because she WILL destroy the team if left unchecked.

I just got the idea that maybe for your quest you'd like to have the plot of Undertale, lol. It's perfect, the monsters trapped inside an unbreakeable cage, and you having the power and the decision to free them, but doing so could destroy the monsters themselves (like how in the game you had to kill Asgore).
I don't know if this will be of your liking, copying the plot of the game, but i think it fits perfectly (taking in mind that you chose your classpect because of Undertale)

Maybe someone else will have a better idea

(and btw, this is where i get the information for the classpects: http://dahniwitchoflight.tumblr.com/ , i suggest anyone to take a check for their classpect to understand it better)

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-19-2016

Alright, got some time on my hands a bit so here is an update: Finishing up the analysis of everything, and then we will be moving onto the lands and quests ^o^ you guys can brainstorm and everything as you wish, helps us out in the end. Also, thanks John for helping out a bit makes it a bit easier on us ;D

RE: Omni-Tier - Summer - 04-19-2016

The Land of Paint and Soul
I imagine it as a vibrant land full of color, and maybe a bit abstract and hard to understand, like most of Guertena's works.
I have no idea what my quest would look like though.

RE: Omni-Tier - Sans - 04-19-2016

For the record, I do like John's idea for Frisk's quest though I'm still a little unsure about it. I'll probs need more help making it Sad

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-19-2016

Ill be helping out specifically with lands, quests, and denizens after the classpect analysis is done ^o^

RE: Omni-Tier - Soldier 75 - 04-19-2016

This is my idea (I'm fine if you completely ignore it).

A maid is associated with healing and repairing , right? Your land could be normally bright and full of bustling consorts, with the landscape being beautiful shades of and hues of color. Recently, something has been draining the land of its color and livelihood, and it's your quest to stop it.

Yes! Maybe the hindrance to the gears is the work of your denizen, an old creature that wants to stop Time itself so as to keep the sand from dumping upon its head while it sleeps inside of your planet. It's funny to think about, some giant monster getting all grouchy because some grains of sand are trickling onto its nose.

I corrected the word 'denizens' to inhabitants to avoid confusion! The more war-like group you are mentioning could be the Underlings, controlled by your denizen. These Underlings will seek to hinder your progress in lighting the Forge and also pose a danger to the inhabitants of your planet.

RE: Omni-Tier - Harry Dresden - 04-24-2016

Submitting a dude in case of scratch or dropouts. I know you said self-inserts were recommended but I just really liked this character from Spring Awakening and he's really similar to myself.

Player Name: Melchior Gabor
PesterOmni: sagaciousBibliophile
Classpect: Mage of Mind
Land: Land of Rivers and Music (LORAM): A calm land, cast in perpetual sunset, with several wide rivers running through it and plant and animal life that makes music when it moves, with disturbances causing downright cacophonous mistakes in what is normally a passably good song.
Moon: Derse
Strife Specibus: Pocketknifekind

RE: Omni-Tier - Tearen Wover - 04-24-2016

Ohhhh...ffinee. I'll submit a backup. This is for realz self insert as fuq.

Player Name: Nero Manilla
PesterOmni: resoluteDreamer
Classpect: Seer of Hope
Land: Land of Stars and Castles (LOSAC):
A solemn, pensive land that is absolutely covered in ancient fortresses and keeps, often connected to each other by vast bridges that stretch for miles. Bright, glinting spheres hover and drift among then spires and buttresses, threatening to obliterate everything they touch. The small, bird-like inhabitants of this land keep trying to build higher and stronger walls, only to have them incinerated every time. It is up to the Seer's job to 'learn the will of the stars', in that the shining spheres actually have an intricate pattern of movement that can be mapped. Once this is done, the Seer can teach the inhabitants how to build around the stars' movement.

Moon: Prospit Dreamer
Strife Specibus: xbowkind

Sounds good ^^

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-24-2016

Gonna be redoing in the backups/ possible scratch participants later today after work. Been super busy but hopefully I can FINALLY finish the analysis. Also gonna be helping with lands too

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-25-2016

Alright, backups have been edited in.

CURRENT AGENDA: I am going to be putting up a final thread for submitting some final things about your character, including gender, likes, dislikes, a bit more on personality(remember to model it at least somewhat about the same as your classpect usually is, a bit of stray is fine), as well as stuff they will have in their room and such. probably will also need a color for your pesteromnis Tongue get them before someone takes it!

RE: Omni-Tier - Soldier 75 - 04-25-2016

Straying is fine, and a bit deviation as well. If you're looking for some more depth to your character in regards to classpect, or you're having trouble with the constrictions of a classpect, players aren't always exactly like their class. Read this http://dahniwitchoflight.tumblr.com/tagged/Inversion
It talks about inversion and overembracing.

Mine.

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-25-2016

^^ really good info, I used some of it in my analysis, I recommend taking a look at this if you want some more personality analysis on your classpect

RE: Omni-Tier - Chloe Price - 04-25-2016

So, I have an idea that part of Terry's quest will be about learning how to control his powers - like, when he's excited, angry or tense, he loses control of his Classpect, and he has to get a grip of his Classpect to be able to pull the quest off.

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-25-2016

I'll might be doing a quick response to all of the lands here after work, nothing too big, I also have work tomorrow but I'll try to get some stuff done. Most likely Wednesday will be the best day to reach me and get some good analysis from me.

RE: Omni-Tier - Dave Strider - 04-25-2016

Also

ANOUNCMENT.

Please disregard all typos.

AHEM

RE: Omni-Tier - Soldier 75 - 04-25-2016

This might help you http://dahniwitchoflight.tumblr.com/post/58602037584
Sorry for all the Dahni stuff, she's just really good at what she does. Additionally, she is a witch of light (at least says so) and the first classpect in this article is witch of light. Light is all about data and perspective, and witches are very good at manipulating it. Analogy: witches viewpoint of colors are different than others. They might be able to see what we see as red in a green color. (Analogy, pretty sure that's not what they do.) For the losing control, reality might twist for them, or they start taking on too much data at once and their head hurts (don't be scared to call me out if I'm completely wrong)

RE: Omni-Tier - Sans - 04-26-2016

Just to point out, still need assistance with the quest thing.

RE: Omni-Tier - scarletFlight - 04-26-2016

How about your Denzin is a tyrant that forced everyone underground? And only Frisk can free them, by destroying his advisors' trust (Blood) in him?
