RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Gaston - 07-29-2017

Grabbing the ankle of a person probably just requires the move itself, but actually moving stuff would need remote control.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 07-29-2017

Probably not, unless you're doing it at range (beyond 12ft of yourself). So it'd depend on how long the whip is.

Grabbing the ankle and yanking it when it's nearby to you wouldn't require ranged control, I think.

I've got a bullwhip as a weapon. Doesn't require the remote control proficiency, just some strength.
Bullwhip (Physical) (600): A recreation of the weapon given to Somerled during the Hero's Graveyard. It is a 10 foot long, 12 plait, kangaroo hide whip. While not one of the strongest weapons out there, with a well-aimed hit, it’s capable of wrapping around an object or person, allowing the wielder to drag it to them, or vice-versa. His ATK needs to be higher than the enemy's in order to drag them in, and at least twice as high for him to do it easily. For some unknown reason, it plays the theme song to "Indiana Jones" whenever it's cracked.
The move in question.

Can a Super Utility move hurt people or a Super Attack move debuff people? I'm thinking of making a Super Move.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 07-29-2017

A super attack can apply a debuff as well as damage.

But if the move damages someone it probably can't be called a utility (but would likely still be able to do the utility thing anyway as a super attack depending on what it is).

Yes to both.

Please reset my OM back to 5000 plus the amount I made in this thread (http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=8761&pid=111948#pid111948), since I don't want to violate the rules by having too much OM.

You're good to go. I reset your OM and PMed your post to you. Just repost it you'll be good.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - James Knight - 07-29-2017

Would using "Flight" as a pair of hover shoes without purchasing them as an RP Flavor move be okay, or would I need to wait? Trying to post before I get up to eighty OM to not break my streak.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Ebonywood Hellscythe - 07-29-2017

If all the hover boots are doing is letting you fly, then yeah. It's the same as someone getting a barcelet that lets them stealth or an cybernetic implant that lets them use telekinesis. You can just "have them".

Yeah, that's fine. You have the Flight power so you can manifest it in any way you want.

What's Dante's Abyss?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Strazio Rockwell - 07-30-2017

Is an annual deathmatch between primes hosted by Syntech. Think hunger games, every year has a different themes and rules associated with it, but it is largely a free-for-all deathamtch with artifeacts and OM as rewards.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Alex - 07-30-2017

Last year wasn't a deathmatch.

What day, month and year was this site created on?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Handsome Jack - 07-30-2017

Are you trolling the Help Desk? Cuz that question both has no possible relation to the actual game here, but it's super easy to find the answer to.

Look at Omni's join date for your answer. Also, do some actual research on your end before you throw questions in here. I'm not staff, so I was nice about actually answering this, but trolling/misusing the Help Desk can be punishable.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - Jak Mar - 07-30-2017

Here's a strange question: Is it possible to have a fodder move where Jak has a pair of handcuffs and Ash has the key?

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - PepsiYuuka - 07-30-2017

I'm not entirely sure that's... a move, unless there are notable benefits. That just seems like it's a thing that's happened. It would most certainly be fodder, but I can't see the reason in needing to classify it as a move as opposed to it just being a thing to mention in your profile. (Unless you're trying to use it as a powered-down form? Which I believe is acceptable.)

That's not a move. That's just something you can do as fodder IC.

RE: Quick Questions (please read the OP) - PepsiYuuka - 07-31-2017

So I know Physical Strength allows one to pick up heavy objects based on strength- but is there a table somewhere of about how much that is at each strength score? I can't seem to find it with a google search.
