Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Carn_Val - 04-20-2015 for Lv 1's like me, can we get like a basic special move/transformation strictly for the event purpose? eg. Andrenaline Rush which gives stat boosts or Replenish which either patches wounds or something decided by RNG? Doesn't really have to be like that though. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Schwi Dola - 04-20-2015 What about a level 0 super move for those without any super moves, costing 1 SP and being a charged attack of a move they have (or a punch in the rare case of those with physical strength and no moves). This would be half the strength of a tier 1 super move, and which normal move they get upgraded to a level 0 super move (can still use the normal version) determined on signup. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-20-2015 Desco Wrote:If Moves don't actually affect F2F, what about Powers? Survival, for instance, significantly deters the disadvantage for having damage taken allowing you to fight at full strength until you've died. Oh, you do raise an interesting point given how the power is worded. I'll have to ruminate on this. Quote:Its been said more than once when people approved something they can't use that they can't buy it until they can use it and it IS in the rules. Line 1 - True. I'd consider this an exception. Line 2 - Correct. They'd would have to have it lined up before hand. Other Desco Quote -> ... I like this idea. Sort of like, they can still use their SP in desperation situations. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - PepsiWhirda - 04-20-2015 Is there a way to avoid the Omniverse-wide recognition of winning the competition? For example, could I create an artefact that makes people forget who I am when they see me? Something like that? Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-20-2015 Yes, that would be the one way you could pull it off. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Erza Scarlet - 04-21-2015 What happens to your SP if you level up during DA? Does the collar just accept it and let you have +1, or does it remain stagnant? Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-21-2015 Remains the same. I didn't want people like... holding off on levelin' or something to try and gain an extra SP during the competition. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Atelos - 04-23-2015 What happens when someone tries to summon or for example Gilgamesh tries to open up a portal? Nothing happens or is it a shocking feedback from the collar? Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-23-2015 ... Shock. Because that'd be more humiliating. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Deadpool - 04-23-2015 Can we swim in the water Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-23-2015 Yes, you may swim in the ocean if you're in a square involving ocean (be aware that doing so doesn't prevent you from being F2F'd or anything like that) All of the squares that are completely ocean will start off as Danger Zones. So you can swim there... but you probably won't be terribly happy when you get there. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-26-2015 Alain the Carnedge Wrote:Couldn't you try and take off someone else's collar to kill them, or will it backfire? Yes and no. Yes because I might decide someone will die in a F2F, and their death might involve their collar being ripped off or broken by their opponent. The same might be true if someone tries to backstab and ally, the F2F might start with them trying to rip off the persons collar. Also because someone could, if they wanted to, commit suicide by prying their collar off In terms of backfire - the collar doesn't create a huge mess when it goes off. No, because I'd kick someone out if they just decided to write their character ripping off their friends collar. Obviously since I control confrontations, I would be the one handling this scenario. But it is possible. The collars are on pretty tight, but they aren't like, fused onto people's necks. Quote:DIO I don't think I answered this, but your stuff would be up to you to decide if you wanted to bring it or not (your weakness). If you didn't want to, you could say that the sun in Dante Verse is different from the sun in the Omniverse . If you wanted to, you could just say it is. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Deadpool - 04-26-2015 How will we find out our powers have been stripped? IC speaking, of course Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-26-2015 The registration people will inform you in general. There's a place in the 'pre-show' facility where characters can double-check, and then a few OOC days before Day 1, characters will be collared and receive a list. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Deadpool - 04-26-2015 Cool Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Gildarts - 04-27-2015 Is insight among one of the powers stripped ? Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Alain the Carnedge - 04-27-2015 I believe Proto said earlier that Insight was allowed. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-27-2015 That I did. Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Strazio Rockwell - 04-27-2015 Will my obligation to defend Darkshire once a week be lifted temporarily for DA? Re: Throw Questions at the Proto Man - Proto Man - 04-27-2015 You mean once a month? But yes, it'd be lifted for DA. |
