I would say Mickey, he is an awesome character and I love how the writer takes a personal spin on him, but I believe Ganondorf takes the cake here. He's differed him so far from the canon (or should I say Ganon?) and I am very intrigued as to what his next move will be.

This one's hard, as Guu has begun to help me a fair bit recently, but Luffy tolerated me when I was still a total newbie, and he tolerates me now as a graduate newbie.

I haven't read many of Nealaphh's writings, so Dr. McNinja takes this one. Much like Mickey, everything was quiet until the Doc ripped into the Omniverse and stole the limelight. Keep going at it!

Character: Ganondorf. Much more established, and in my opinion, at this point much more compelling.
Helpful: Luffy. Difficult decision, as they're both incredible. I had a hard time choosing even though I nominated Luffy originally
Rising Star: Dr. McNinja. Boy's got some comedy chops and does drama, too!

I haven't read much of Guu's stuff, but I have read some of Luffy's and I like his character. He has also been pretty badass with updates and stuff. Luffy.
