Rumors say he intends to assault Mokugare and Yggdrasil, and he openly deplores Ambrosia's all-are-welcome policies. His only allies are the orcs of the Hidden Temple, but even they are concerned of his war-mongering.

Garrosh and the New Horde can be found deep in the Tangled Green at their base of operations, a small camp of tents surrounded by a wall of pikes and Horde flags, a few miles from the Hidden Temple.

Story: Garrosh Hellscream was the former Warchief of the Horde. He is the son of the heroic warrior Grommash Hellscream. When the orc clans of Draenor united to form the first Horde in order to march through the Dark Portal to conquer Azeroth, Garrosh remained behind in Nagrand due to being infected with red pox, a plague that had begun to infect the orcs.

When then-Warchief Thrall, founder of the renewed Horde, traveled to Nagrand, he met Garrosh. Though he wasn't demonically influenced himself, Garrosh was haunted by his family's legacy: his father was the first orc to embrace corruption by drinking the blood of the pit lord Mannoroth. Garrosh lived in the shadow of his father's acts until he met Thrall, who explained to the younger Hellscream that Grommash ultimately gave his life to lift the demonic blood-curse, and freed his race from servitude to dark forces. Learning of his father's great deeds, Garrosh returned to Azeroth with Thrall and became a member of the Horde.

After showing his ferocity and bravery in battle, Thrall put Garrosh in charge of the Warsong Offensive, the Horde armies sent to wage war against the Lich King. Following the war's end, Garrosh returned to Orgrimmar as a venerated war hero. Garrosh eventually became the Warchief of the Horde after Thrall stepped down to focus on his shamanistic duties during the Cataclysm that tore Azeroth apart.

Brash, stubborn and impatient, all Garrosh wished as Warchief was to conquer all of Azeroth in the name of the Horde, and was willing to crush any who stood in his way, even the other members of the Horde. Garrosh's increasingly brutal pursuit of dominance led him to turn to ever darker sources of power, earning the hatred and distrust of the other races and leaders of the Horde and of the denizens of Pandaria, particularly the Shado-pan, the order of Pandaren guardians. After narrowly surviving an assassination attempt by Garrosh, the troll leader Vol'jin began an uprising against the Warchief, leading the other races of the Horde in increasingly open rebellion against their former leader.

Garrosh was defeated in a siege of Orgrimmar by Alliance and Horde champions. Both factions agreed to allow Garrosh to be tried for his crimes by the Pandaren, whose homeland suffered the greatest as a result of Garrosh's actions. Garrosh subsequently escaped imprisonment and went back in time to his homeworld of Draenor before the rise of the Horde. He changed the future, creating an alternate timeline in hopes of conquering Azeroth for the Horde.

As a result, Thrall challenged Garrosh to Mak'gora, an honourable duel to the death. As they battled at the Stones of Prophecy, Garrosh claimed that his actions were for the good of the Horde. He roared that it was Thrall who had made him Warchief and left him to "pick up the pieces". Though outmatched physically, Thrall called upon the formidable powers of the elements to grasp Garrosh in a hand of earth. Garrosh raged that Thrall had made him what he was, to which Thrall retaliated by saying that Garrosh had chosen his own destiny, before Thrall ended his life with a bolt of lightning.

Or so he thought.

Garrosh instead arrived in the Omniverse. Shortly after his arrival, he sought a way home to Azeroth. He knew that he had to lead a march on the one responsible: Omni. He traveled the Omniverse alone, and uncharacteristically quiet, to acquire information about the vast multiverse. Finally, he learned there were other orcs in the Tangled Green.

Once he arrived, Garrosh expected a warrior's welcome. But he was disappointed to find that, not only did the orcs not know who he was, but orcs were considered a lesser and barbaric race by others. He saw a race of orcs too cowardly to face true threats, instead resorting to squabbling with each other for petty dominance. His pride stung, Garrosh took it upon himself to unite the small orcish tribes of the Green and to build a new Horde. And this time, he would learn from his mistakes of trusting foreign races - the treacherous trolls and the like. He would make a Horde of warrior orcs, the likes of which the Omniverse had never seen.

Garrosh slowly grows in power as he swallows up more tribes, whether they be orc, ork, or uruks. He initially gained power by challenging other leaders to Mak'gora and defeating them. Sometimes he would raid villages and enslave other warriors. Now Garrosh's Horde consists of dozens of bloodthirsty and belligerent orcs, with Garrosh at their helm.
However, the chaos left in his trail has attracted the attention of both Coruscant, who hopes to direct his rampage at Camelot in an effort to further weaken their influence in the Green.

Role/Location: Tsunade is the founder and leader of Mokugakure, the hidden village that resides within the Tangled Green. She was given the official title of Morikage (Forest shadow) by the many shinobi and people that settled within the village. Tsunade is responsible for all political and social issues that may arise within the Village. If someone has a problem, they go to Tsunade, who then assigns the appropriate level of grading to that problem and hands it out as a mission to one of the many shinobi she has at her disposal. Unfortunately there’s a lot of in-fighting between the many ‘Noble’ families within the village itself, so Tsunade often finds herself dealing with small scale civil wars between these households.

Background: Tsunade, arriving in the Omniverse’s fourth year, was among the first batch of Ninja to arrive within the omniverse. Not much is known of where they went initially, however, they all eventually found their way to The Tangled Green. Tsunade, leading the group of ninja, found her way to an abnormally large, and somewhat hollow, tree (not Yggdrasil, but a tree of similar stature). This tree would become the centerpiece that the village of Mokugakure would eventually be built around in the coming years.

For many years Tsunade and her followers cut down and removed trees from the area, slowly expanding outwards. They used this wood to construct housing and buildings around the base of the Center-Tree. Tsunade would often send out a few scouts to scour the verse - and other verses - for anyone who was willing to join them in establishing the village. It took a few years but Tsunade was, eventually, able to get the village into a stable standing within The Tangled Green.

In the most recent years, the village has strived towards teaching the young children of the village how to defend themselves. This led Tsunade to begin construction of a Ninja Academy. Much like in her own world, this academy would serve as a tool to teach children how to utilize chakra in a safe environment. At the same time Tsunade also began to witness the rise of political discord within the Noble Family leaders of the village. Ultimately leading to a secret civil war between these families. This caused a lot of Ninja to secretly rebel against Tsunade’s leadership and serve these families instead, in exchange for a large amount of money. These ninja would often partake in covert assassination and infiltration missions against the various other opposing Noble Families. Tsunade aims to quell this political in-fighting with some form of civilized resolution.

Powers & Abilities: Tsunade may look like she’s in her early twenties, but don’t be fooled by this. She has a full fifty five years of war-torn experience under her belt. The only reason she looks so young is because of a secret Jutsu that she developed. Tsunade also possess immense physical strength that she further enhances with her own chakra.
Location and Role:
Azathoth, the Blind Idiot God, is an ancient force of chaos older than the universe, existing in a strange state of being everywhere and yet nowhere to be found. This ancient primeval force dwells exclusively in the Astral Realm, though it influences other Zones through the wild and horrible dreams it can effect on their denizens. This unspeakable creature holds no true station, and is often not even recognized as a real force within the Omniverse, but those who have been touched by its impossible madness have irrefutable proof to the contrary.

Cults and organizations have formed to worship or to attempt to comprehend this being, these groups being often plagued by insanity and mass murders or suicides. It is difficult to say whether or not the being even has foul motives, or if it is simply horrible through its unfathomable movements.

Often, unwary dreamers are drawn to this strange creature through contact with a Black Man who leads them through the inscrutable layers of dream and mind to a place where Azathoth is said to dwell, were the garish sound of monotonous piping echoes and writhing, flopping, amorphous creatures dance. It is said that this Black Man will attempt to conscript these wayward dreamers into a bond with Azathoth by having them sign a book with their own blood. What being bound to this horrible creature actually means is yet to be understood but many who claim horrible magical power claim to be associated with it.

Appearance:
Azathoth as well as the Black Man can appear in many ways, depending on the dreamer. As creatures that exist solely within dream, and are perhaps manifestations of those dreams, what they look like highly depends on who is looking upon them.

No matter what incarnation Azathoth takes, it is most often accompanied by the monotonous sound of thin flutes, mindlessly piping without rhythm. Often Azathoth is impossibly large, created of the stars and sky that floats above each of the verses, each glimmering light another eye that stares down upon the dreamer, other times it is almost incalculably small, a strange speck of light or a hole of darkness far off on the horizon. Some have described it as an undulating mound of crinkling flesh or ooze, thousands of malformed orifices and flopping tentacles composing a sea of horror. Others still say it consists of a bivalvular shell supported on many pairs of flexible legs with several jointed cylinders, tipped with polypous appendages; and in the darkness inside the shell, a horrible, bestial, mouthless face, with deep-sunk eyes and covered with glistening black hair. Your character may see something else entirely.

The Black Man is most frequently describes as a tall, muscular or slender man, with skin thickly coated in black oil, or dark black in color. Sometimes the Black Man appears as an Egyptian Pharaoh, though very tall and strangely thin.
She’s mostly found in the Astral Realm where she enters the dreams of others and helps them fight off their own nightmares. She both defends people from the aberrations of their subconscious, but also utilizes her wisdom to help them with whatever real life concerns brought about the nightmares to begin with.

She also plays a major role in keeping the verse safe from dream monsters. She’ll often take it upon herself to hunt down and vanquish dangerous beasts that often find themselves in the Astral Plane.

It is rumored she has a base somewhere in the Omniverse in which she sleeps and lives, but it is unknown where it is.

Appearance
She’s an alicorn, a rather skinny and tall unicorn with a wide pair of wings. She has dark blue fur as well as a mane and tail that resembles the night sky. Her hair is constantly magically wriggling around in midair. She wears a black crest around her neck with a moon symbol on it and she had a black tiara just above her long horn. She has light blue shoes on each foot. On each of her hips is a moon symbol, which marks her purpose in life. She stands about 5 feet tall.

Personality
When people turn to her for guidance, she’s incredibly wise and knowledge in the fields of psychology. While she has a firm understanding of the mind, she still struggles at social gatherings as she’s not as good at expressive herself personally. She’s better at helping others than she is at helping herself, basically.

Her guilt for her past crimes plagues heavily on her mind and she often sees her job as penance for it. She’ll see any outside help as a failure on her end. She even actively punishes herself, to the extent that she’s even created a dream monster called the Tantabus to torment her in her own dreams.

History:
It is unknown when the celestial sisters came to be. They may have existed since the dawn of time. All that it is known is that the pair controlled the celestial bodies; Celestia raised and lowered the sun each day, while Luna did the same for the moon.

For the longest time it was just them together. That is until they eventually met the great wizard Starswirl the Bearded. He decreed that the pair should lead the newly unified country of Equestria, as they are the wisest of the land. Thus they gained their new titles: Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

Luna would take on the job of Princess of the Night. Not only would she raise and lower the moon, but she also entered the dreams of ponies, helping them conquer their nightmares while solving their day to day problems.

As rulers, they would face many challenges: Tirek, Discord, Sombre, they all would make attempts for the throne to no avail. However, in the case of Luna, her defeat was her own doing. Despite her efforts towards her people, she never got the respect she thought she deserved. Her heart clouded by rage, she refused to lower the moon the night before the the Summer Solstice. Her own magic transformed her into the wicked mare of darkness, Nightmare Moon.

Celestia reluctantly wielded the Elements of Harmony on her sister, banishing her into the moon itself.

Or at least that’s what originally happened. Instead, when the radiant light of the elements hit her, she found herself in a white void, with a strange white creature smiling at her.

She was taken during the early years of the Omniverse. Her crossing transformed her back into Princess Luna, except now she carries the regrets for her turn to darkness. Feeling she needed to pay for her crimes, she went to work toward fixing the Astral Realm.
During those early days, the realm was full of dream monsters that threatened the people of this universe and she spends the next half a decade or so fighting and vanquishing each one. Because of her efforts, the realm, for the most part, is about as safe as your subconscious allows it.
The city, over a mile beneath sea level, is constantly growing alongside its Matron Mother. Triel only rarely leaves the city, knowing that there is no one competent enough to guide its vicious denizens in her absence. Her influence and ability to project her deadly citizens beyond the walls of the city grow with each passing month.

History: The drow are from a world call Faerun, where they reside in a place deep underground known as the Underdark. It is there that these subterranean ‘dark elves’ make their homes, scheme their plots, and worship their goddess, the Spider Queen Lolth. Drow society is one of murder, intrigue, and betrayal, but all of this is kept in check by a tight social order and hierarchy of ruling clans. At the top of the hierarchy was House Baenre—unofficial rulers of the city (because of their nature, drow would never willing accept dominance by one figure). Triel was one of the daughters of House Baenre’s Matron Mother, and due to her prominence, she served as the Mistress Mother of Arach-Tinilith as a high-priestess.

When her mother was slain in a failed attempt to conquer Mithral Hall, Triel took control of the house and its unofficial status as the leaders of the drow city-state. She had barely settled into her role as Matron Mother when she was taken to the Omniverse.

After her arrival in the Omniverse, Triel wandered. In this strange world she was separated from Lolth, but with that, there was a degree of freedom that was strangely euphoric. The god of this new world had removed all the limitations of her race, and while her powers had been sapped, she knew that she could regain them. Even more alluring, she knew she could be more here than she could ever been in Menzoberranzan.

Triel traversed the Omniverse over the course of a few months, scoping out the societies and tribes that called it home. Once she felt strong enough, she settled in a desolate place called the Pale Moors, where the only centralized location, the town of Darkshire, would offer little threat to her own designs.
Emulated after her home city, Triel created a much smaller Menzoberranzan beneath the rugged terrain deep in the Pale Moors.
Location/Role: Unknown.

Story: The Tarrasque is something usually reserved for ‘boogey man’ type stories that parents tell adventurous children late at night. The stories are as old as ‘civilization’ in the Pale Moors, with original accounts being told by drunkards in the bars of Darkshire. More often than not, the stories revolved around the monster rising up from an underground resting place to gorge its nearly insatiable appetite before vanishing back into the deep recesses of the planet.

Soldiers who fought against the forces of Diablo also brought back stories of the Tarrasque (or a similar monster – the accounts always seem somewhat embellished) and claimed that the monsters from the Underverse always seemed to be digging when they weren’t on the march.

It is unknown when exactly the stories became reality. Some argue that the stories, repeated over and over again by countless villagers over the years, somehow gave flesh to the monster. Others argue that the Tarrasque has always existed in the Omniverse, and that it waking up and rampaging across the Moors is just a terrible and tragic coincidence. Whatever theory you may believe, the fact of the matter is that the monster did emerge from the ground, and it did go on a mindless (albeit lumbering) rampage across the Moors.

From its first sightings, the legend of the Tarrasque grew. Panicked civilians in Darkshire and the peasants in the wilderness claimed it was some sort of resurrected hell-monster from Diablo’s army. They claimed it was fueled by a ‘sin heart’ and wouldn’t rest until it destroyed the Omniverse. In other circles, there are whispers that an unknown faction was attempting to use the monster as a massive vehicle of war. Still others link the Tarrasque with the Blight that still rampages in the Tangled Green and the Pale Moors.

Whatever the case, the monster was allowed free reign to eat, stomp, and tear its way through the Pale Moors until it was confronted by a collection of primes. Brought together from different parts of the verse, the group of mercenaries and adventurers fought viciously against the creature before turning on one another to claim a prize left behind by the ailing monster.

Although a victor was claimed by the group, there is no corpse to prove the monster’s demise. All that they have is trinkets from chunks of its carapace, although rumors mention that one such trinket was imbued with a part of the monster’s primordial essence. Despite the joy felt in Darkshire and the rest of the Pale Moors when news of the Tarrasque’s defeat spread, there are still many who refuse to believe. They speak only of the old stories that the monster is immortal, and that even in defeat, it has only receded into a deep slumber until its strength returns again.

Is the Tarrasque truly dead? Or is it simply sleeping away its grievous wounds?

Only time will provide the answer.
It is from this castle that the mysterious Count Dracula rules a loose network of monsters, demons, and undead creatures that constitute ‘Dracula’s Army.’ While by no means an intricately organized force, it is not uncommon to find groups of disparate creatures bearing the Count’s coat of arms. These groups tend to raid travelers and the small villages in the area around Darkshire.
Ryan is also the chairman of the city council and the owner of the Hephaestus Power Facility that provides the majority of the city’s electricity.

Ryan rarely leaves Rapture Central Control, the fortress-like building that houses controls for nearly every system involved in maintenance of the city. While Ryan can claim that the city is a meritocracy, his ‘nationalization’ of Central Control and ownership of the other major industries makes him the de facto despot of Rapture, a fact that many of the citizens are frustratingly aware of.

Story: Andrew Ryan was born in tsarist Russia near the end of the first decade of the twentieth century. As a young boy, he witnessed the violent overthrow of the tsar and the Bolshevik seizure of power.

Ryan's experiences under Soviet rule led him to his personal philosophy: the modern world was created by great men who strove to make their own way. Any time ‘parasites’ gained control of such a world, they destroyed it. The Soviets did so by ‘trading one lie for another,’ the autocratic rule of the Czar for the repressions of Bolshevism.

Thinking himself a ‘great man,’ Ryan fled Russia in 1919, arriving in America soon thereafter and anglicizing his name. As he came to age, Ryan adored his adopted country, seeing it as a place where someone of his intellect and talent could flourish through hard work and determination. This all began to change in the 1930s, when ideas of socialism and collectivism infiltrated America and rewarded those who didn’t deserve it. Ryan viewed Roosevelt and the ‘New Dealers’ as ‘parasites’ who were feeding America Bolshevik poison. Rather than allow the government to nationalize a forest he had purchased years prior, with many people telling him that ‘God put the forest there’ and that it should be a park. Ryan torched the forest to the ground.

For Ryan, the atomic bomb was the final straw. In the bomb’s creation and usage, he saw all the ideas of science, hardwork, and determination he idolized being used by ‘parasites’ to destroy what they couldn’t outright seize. Ryan set out on a plan to build the idea society, and he dedicated his entire life’s savings to this end. His goal was to create a community where ‘the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, where the great would not be constrained by the small.’ When it was finished, the city would be populated by the world’s greatest minds.

Before Ryan could see his plans come to fruition, he was called to the Omniverse. After his conversation with Omni, Ryan realized that, due to his talent and genius, he had been personally ‘raptured’ by a god. While he found himself without his previous means and connections, Ryan couldn't help but find himself awed by the tabula rasa this new world provided him.

Approached by envoys from the Empire, Ryan accepted an offer to work in Coruscant. Just as he had experienced in the twenties, Andrew Ryan enjoyed a period of productivity and happiness in the new environment, thriving under the freedoms he received as not only an intellectual genius but as a prime. In this Omniverse, Ryan truly was one of the ‘great men’ he had idolized as a youth.

Unfortunately, the situation soon soured, as the Empire tried to push Ryan to focus on their own agenda. Appalled at the notion of having to channel his brilliance to create war machines, Ryan stormed out of Coruscant, vanishing in the middle of the night. Imperial authorities caught up to Ryan in Costa Del Sol but failed to apprehend him before he slipped out of town. Vanishing into the Vasty Deep, Ryan wandered for a period of time before sightings of him stopped.

A few months after his exodus from Coruscant, reports came back that a city had appeared on the ocean floor. This beautiful underground metropolis was the a workers’ and scientists’ utopia. Drawing inspiration from his arrival into the Omniverse, Ryan named the city ‘Rapture.’ As Ryan predicted, the economy flourished and the city was politically stable. Science flourished, particularly after the discovery of ADAM in sea slugs. ADAM allowed for genetic manipulation on an astounding level but also resulted in crippling addiction that could lead to insanity. In his ignorance of ADAM’s potential, Ryan passed on a chance to have a controlling stake in its production. This in term led to Fontaine Futuristics acquiring the bid and the vast amount of wealth that came with the commercialization of ADAM and plasmids, especially once a large percentage of the population was addicted.

As time goes on, the dream of Andrew Ryan continues to thrive, but even to an observer, it is clear that cracks are beginning to form. As a society of so many ambitious and talented men and women, Rapture is very top-heavy. Poorer citizens of the city, many who were drawn to Rapture after its creation, suffer the worst. These citizens are then targeted by individuals pining for influence and control. Smuggling and black market sales of ADAM have also been on the rise. Tensions continue to mount in Rapture, with many believing that an armed scuffle may occur between Ryan and Frank Fontaine.
