Yo dudes, this software is a great great tool for sites like this. It really allows you to put all your various research, moves, images, threads and everything else into a coherent, cohesive document. I just recently remembered what a badass tool it is, and everything went right in, super easily.

I highly recommend taking the time to learn the program and to use it.

I have been a massive fan of Scrivener for 4 or 5 years. An amazing piece of software for any type of writing projects.

All my old chubbs stuff and the stuff of all my partner writers is preserved in a Scrivener project, along with info blurbs of all the characters, places, and reoccurring themes that appear (with links to all the various written segments said things appear in).

I need to go through and create one of these for Proto and Shang when I have more time. It's a really really amazing tool if you're like me and you have a lot of supporting characters or you like to perpetually reference things. Really helps you not get lost in your own expanding creation.

Trying to keep track of all the people, places and things gets really really rough when you're writing in a multiverse with like, a ton of other writers. I'm getting to the point where I'll NEED a highly organized system just to keep my own damn canon straight.

Is this how you created those amazing plots full of NPCs and political intrigue, Alex?
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

This is half off for Black Friday weekend. I'm thinking of getting it to plan out all my novel stuff, and from what I've seen of it on the web, it looks like it'll handle that well.

Its a lot cheaper than Office.

Good alternative though is wikidpad http://sourceforge.net/projects/wikidpad/ which works in a pretty similar fashion, and is free. Scrivener is much better.
