The Party of the Strange - Inlumia - 01-01-2015 The Party of the Strange As the Angles with the Devil danced And Jesus did Demons court; There happened many thing stranger Then what Chaos ever wrought. Each dream did come fully alive The whims, day dreams and fantasies. The wet dreams and nightmares also did jive; Fitting in with disturbing ease. Knowing by this horrendous party That many worlds would fully be made wreck Still did people join by legion size; Saying “Come on, what the Heck!” Invited were the twisted the sick and perverse Near all those of the scene called the Strange And so they came, the weirdest of the multiverse Knowing they’d emerge even more deranged! Guests came; all species shape and size Including beats as from Aesop’s fables. None of them did others despise But each loved as a party animal. Near all did come, you had to be there With laws of time and space enforced only loose And more divine and necromancers flare Being dead or nay born was allowed as an excuse! The straight-laced were bared; the boring ladies and men The norms and reasonable were nay allowed If some did get in, it would be easy to spot them In this unique crowd. Though worlds joined, it was not enough So they sought out those with strange wyrd and fitting fate It was all too easy, not at all tough They took near all while going through Heavens Gate The worlds were places where none ever did live For these were mostly specially made They stole or took what everywhere had to give But their ruins only sometimes did fade! To cook the drugs and deadly food And provide sun like warmth for all They would need much, much wood So they did burn Yggdrasil And so they partied from the ceiling With magic shoes and danced on each wall; If of this they were seen by any sane being Into the welcoming pits of madness would they fall. Seeing pink Elders, gods figured their thirsts to slack So they tried their best to drain many a bottle of Djinn Most of the Djinn did not like it and struck back Saying, “That fetish is not our thing!” In Hell’s lava hot springs they did skinny-dip Frolicking and enjoying their play They all had a great time, even each gimp Enchanted by the party’s fray There was a section for the kids Nothing sexual was allowed there Of booze and the drunks that they dig It was bring you own or share and share. Afore the party was near done And though the humour could be coarse They all enjoyed it and had much fun Bringing in more then one Trojan horse For snacks there were fruits of the tree of knowing Boiled well in water from the river Leth Chased with juice of the tree of Life everlasting Mixed with water from the Styx, which does bereave There was some people who wanted in, but to retain their own control Setting up their own boarder guards, they spotted aliens approaching their world, their abode The party over whelmed them, their people eager to pay the chaos toll Of the aliens situation, in the end the government they did probe There was a girl, who upfront seemed all sugar and spice You’d think her mouth couldn’t melt butter When she was nice, she was very, very nice But when she was bad, they loved her back better! Bright Apollo with choirs of every Heaven Sang off against all the bards and Rock stars from Hell On the dance floor all rank was even So there they danced; the fair and the fell. People could enjoy every public show Even if some were not at all nice An actor showed nothing was no-go While in Cinderella on ice. The fat lady came and sung also On the stage she showed how she felt Even if her show was just solo Afore it she was so nervous she used a living toilet They played matches on a strange sports field Holding many landmines and traps on many a grave In the mosh-pit an odd sight the party did yield Buhddest monks and saints indulging each vice they did crave. Armed forces came with black ops, each in a mask To where they could have fun without scandal. What they did they would not tell, for none would ask And they did not just tap the admiral. Shrinks went to see what was going on Believing their schools would nay reach an accord But they were forced to admit they were wrong And let loose each mental ward An uptight boring man came to wreck their fun And with a moral banner to hoist and unfurl But near soon as he had just begun He was turned into a were party girl! Prudes appeared to preach and enforce hetro vanilla But fetishist gave their reply There was some points and in the end some unusual filler Until the prudes were told “Good bi” In all this beings did get hurt So medics came, but not just to heal. High on their own things they did flirt Changing peoples bodies to fit how they wanted to feel. Time did bend back on itself, Saturn was doing yoga Fortan, dame luck, had her powers pushed till they did strain. One moment people were boogying in suits, the next head-banging in a toga. Wanting to always party, some time travelled, and from the start partied again! To Klansmen who tried to enforce their beliefs and ways Came Jesus, that ancient Jewish hippy from heaven above He changed their tone on that day of days And for all the kinds of men did they feel brotherly love There was a smooth man, orphaned at birth None knew he was whose son At the party he and a maid had more then drunken mirth Seeing the photo, he said “That’s my mom!” There was a beauty pageant for fetishes people wore Among latex, polyester and supermodels with some haughtier Was leather, straps, body paint and many little things more. The winner was the runner up, worn by a Skinwalker. A wild man had too must bloodlust And wanted little more then a fight After victory he’d hold his prize fast And maybe enjoy an expired Sprite. A perverted Djinn offered a hooker a free wish Said she “I would do anything for a million quid.” Due to her lisp, he gave her a delighted kiss, And has her taking care of a million squid. There was a lass who believed she would always have it made One of the things was she was a very twisted high elf. Seeing a cute drunk guy, she knew there were plans to be laid Woke up after the party, realizing it had been her own then future self. The oddest being in all this strife Was a man enjoying many a tart. Who said the party was his entire life. When the Party closed he went back to the start! There was a man, who with ladies was loose and fast Who seeing a sexy woman could not but make a pass When he insisted too much, he learned she could spell cast And went home with his mates a lass! Old troubles for fun they did exhume And put heat on all they did despise. Madness rose as things did fume ‘till past boiling point did Mercury rise Some geeks somehow did manage to get in And enjoyed much mead from flagons ‘till the booze buzz kick in And they went to have fun with dungeons and dragons On thoughts, drugs, magic and science mad Did God get totally stoned; Committing deeds much fowler Then any Satan dared call his own. The stars they pushed around, they shredded destinies text And that was the work of nay just chaos gods And of what would come to be next Jimmy the Greek would nay lay odds There was ever only one who dared complain of the noise Odin, All-Father, the Lord of the Gods of Asgard But the party took them, Valhalla and all its boys In fighting and drunken whenching all resistance they did discard. But as Gargoyles Can-Caned, Whales tap-danced And mermaids outdid Scotsmen with the Highland fling. For each world this madness with witnesses were graced Awe, hope, wonder, and inspiration it did bring. But with all parties it had to have a close But came a sound to which the worlds madness did it rend With it fear, dread, joy and hope all rose A single voice saying “Great party, we must do it again!” As they staggered for the worlds they did call home Their appearance was so disturbing all sane being were given fright. But once they expired what let them world roam Many said such as “Damn, I knew I should of made that turn right!” Although trapped many sort a way home to go Their presence more deadly then any disaster or hex Their presence they knew would help the Strange grow To help fuel the party next!
