OC Help? - Trixie - 07-09-2018 I guess it's my turn to ask for some help on whether or not these ideas suck. I've got two solid candidates right now that I'm looking to try and write. Thoughts? OC 1
![]() Palaxia - Ancient Golden Dragon - Lawful Good Alignment -- Fought against Red Dragon's during the Lich War. Eventually was assigned to look after a mortal human who had gained the ability to turn into a Golden Dragon via the Wish Spell named Vad. She was the deciding vote to make him Emissary of the Golden Brood later in life. She arrives in the OV after admitting to herself that she has feelings of love for the now Immortal level 20 Human Fighter.

Natural and Veteran Zoid Pilot of Ancient Murasame Liger, member of Peasant Army in Custom Timeline -- Corporal in Army only for the fact that she's a proven pilot, hated by the rest of her the comrades due to driving an outdated piece of junk. Even if it is one of the few Liger's remaining on the Planet. Hails from Dead Zone, battle torn area of the planet where refugees and people who have lost everything due to the war have flocked to setup camp. Has evolved into a shanty city with the appearances of Gidi Prime (Dune reference). The city is one giant slum. Liger is mostly functional as only the blade works, and for that reason, Ember is a very skilled close quarters pilot.

![]() Seia, Raven Goddess of Death and Destiny
Commandant of Pantheon Army
Progenitor of House Zulenka after Fall of Pantheon
The gist? A full blown goddess. Raven Polymorph. Terrifyingly good at combat. Bird like appearance and abilities -- cosmic in nature.
RE: OC Help? - Link - 07-09-2018 My vote's with the first one.. mostly because that character design is awesome. RE: OC Help? - Alexander Blakesley - 07-09-2018 My vote's going to the second one, used to love Zoids and her design looks amazing. Plus you can never go wrong with giant robots, something I feel the OV kind of lacks at the moment. RE: OC Help? - Handsome Jack - 07-09-2018 Zoids!!! RE: OC Help? - Marisa Kirisame - 07-09-2018 Zoids of course. RE: OC Help? - Bandit With No Name - 07-09-2018 I thought of Zoids, but eventually dodged. I say Zoids. RE: OC Help? - Mickey Mouse - 07-09-2018 Omg Zoids is awesome. But I also love the Lawful Good lady. Let me get home and I’ll post more detailed thoughts on both. RE: OC Help? - Mickey Mouse - 07-09-2018 Okay, my more detailed thoughts: They both have their pros and cons. Like I said, I fucking love Zoids and your post is like a blast from the past because I'd basically forgotten they existed. I also agree that the Omniverse in general needs more fighting robots; my only concern is she seems similar just in a general sense to Trixie, but maybe that's just the military thing throwing me off. I also have a thing for Lawful Good characters (as we know) so that could be making me a little biased. That said, I think that Palaxia is a slightly more compelling dynamic from the jump and is a very interesting character design, and IMO pretty different from Trixiesnax. And different from what I've seen you write before! So I think I'm leaning Palaxia but the Zoids girl is also very cool and would be a unique addition to the site mechanics-wise. RE: OC Help? - Ezrihel - 07-09-2018 Palaxia because I've drawn you a hot blonde dragon babe before and you said you'd eventually write said dragon babe with me. RE: OC Help? - Aello - 07-09-2018 Fukken more robots mate RE: OC Help? - Trixie - 07-09-2018 Thanks for everyone's input! It's greatly appreciated! I added a third option I have floating around in my head. It may not be a good fit, but I figured I'd get your thoughts. Also found a better picture to represent Ember, so I updated it for my own posterity. RE: OC Help? - Drake Oneir - 07-09-2018 Zoids. Drake needs more mech friends to talk shop with. RE: OC Help? - Civic - 07-09-2018 The first one. RE: OC Help? - Luci - 07-09-2018 The Zoid girl is the coolest one, because Zoid's are cool. Her zoid form should be a powered up form though. Palaxia has the most potential as a character I think, and I believe you would love writing her. Also dope pic, and that helps. RE: OC Help? - Shantotto - 07-10-2018 Palaxia, would love to see another badass good girl RE: OC Help? - Yu Kanda - 07-10-2018 Palaxia, also....dibs RE: OC Help? - Link - 07-10-2018 You can’t just dibs everything man RE: OC Help? - The Vision - 07-10-2018 For sure Palaxia. That shit doooooope RE: OC Help? - Amaterasu - 07-10-2018 Palaxia! We need dem dragons around here! Xayah Seia also seems interesting. Both characters would give you some diversity by branching off to the magic/non-tech territory (okay, A21 is a bit of both in that regard), since both Trixie and A21 are more based on science fiction. But perhaps that's your intent? Also a big thing to consider is what 'goals' that character could pursue, what they could do in the Omniverse to keep them as a character interesting for yourself. |
