Super Move Refund - Thaal Sinestro - 07-08-2018 https://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=66&pid=138238#pid138238 Quote:I've also removed an example Super Utility called 'Ice Prison' that let people imprison someone for 40 seconds as a T1 super utility. I'm going to ask on avoiding any sort of full-scale immobilization supers, because they're just... not 'fun' in the context of a creative writing website and could create 'issues' (I freeze you in ice with my last post, you have no SP and get frozen, but I'm judged to lose [how do you even rectify that without it seeming silly]). I know that's just one hypothetical, but I'd rather just nip it before that seeps into 'the meta'. I believe there was only one real move based on this, and I'll talk to that person. Quote:Hard-Light Containment - 800 OM Tier 2 Defensive/Utility Super Move Requires Ranged Proficiency, Area Shield Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency, Remote Control Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency If I can jsut get refunded the OM for this, I'll remove it from my roster! Thanks! RE: Super Move Refund - Dane Regan - 07-08-2018 Yeah, you can get a full refund if you want. As in, completely remove it from your roster and get back all the OM. Just link this post/thread when you do it. That said, you could also try to change it somewhat to be purely a super defense. Since the idea of making a box around someone while they're using a super attack is fine. With it shattering upon the attack's completion (or breaking early if they use a T3 or something stronger, thus allowing them to still damage their target). If you want to go that route, just submit the changes to move approval and we'll get to it. RE: Super Move Refund - Bandit With No Name - 07-08-2018 Thanks for the option, Dane! I think I'll jsut go for the refund for now though. I was never a particular fan of the move, so it's kinda nice to be able to take a full refund haha RE: Super Move Refund - Thaal Sinestro - 07-08-2018 https://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=100&pid=138527#pid138527 Thank you! RE: Super Move Refund - Dane Regan - 07-08-2018 Yeah. If you wanna come back to it in the future and later buy a "fixed/improved" version, go ahead. Or, get a completely new super defense. Or never get one, because super defenses are for nerds. |
