Dataverse/Astral Realm questions - Undersiej - 12-17-2014
I have a strange question.
I plan on making my character a cyborg (involving use of the dataverse uplink item after I can purchase it).
Would I be able to be in the dataverse and elsewhere at the same time? I plan to be 'online' in the dataverse via his cybernetics and be in other places at the same time if that's possible, like Sergeant Major from Ghost in the Shell theoretically could if she could split her focus and do both at the same time (or at least connect without that damn cord).
Edit: Basically, it'd be like having an Uplink station or VR Helmet on the inside of your body and having to spit concentration to maintain efficient in either location. What would I need to purchase to make my idea work? Would I have to take a power to be able to be in both locations at once? Mutiple item purchases?
Second question not entirely related to the first. Would you be able to talk outside of the Spirit Realm while within the Spirit Realm? I mean carry on a conversation, not fight and such. Probably requires the eyes to be closed though.

For the first question I would say no. Being in two places at once is strictly a no-no. There may be an item/artefact that serves as a portable uplink station, but even then, you wouldn't be able to focus on what you are doing in the 'real' world while uploaded in the dataverse. For the second, maybe if you were telepathic and not physically in the Astral Realm. You would have to be in a dream or attuned state where your body is still present at the very least. Additionally whomever you want to talk to would probably have to be telepathic as well, and that is pretty obviously limiting.
