Progress, and Failures - Jack Darby - 05-17-2018

As they once more approached the bustling city that was the verse of Coruscant,  Unicron wished that Rafael was stronger than he was. This was wished even more so as they made their way towards one of the elevators that would lead to one of the lower tiers. Unicron had convinced Rafael that if they were to get strong enough for the Abyss Event, Rafael was going to need some serious practice between now and then. In addition, he was also going to need to learn to get more powerful with the manipulation of Dark Energon. Sure the power Rafael could use was but a mere fraction of the power Unicron could use, but it was a start. The boy needed a lot of work before he could become the heir of Unicron, but with time and effort he could perhaps surpass the Chaos Bringer. All they needed to do was make sure that he lived long enough in the Omniverse in order to facilitate his goals. One of the goals involved Rafael developing several new weapons and capabilities beyond what he had now. Of course with the Dark Energon techniques Unicron was working on teaching Rafael, the chances of Rafael actually winning at Dante's Abyss were stronger than they were beforehand. Obviously he was not going to let Rafael depend on him to do the work there. No, the work would be done by Rafael instead of Unicron, a test to see if Rafael had what it took to make sure that he could triumph.

Admittedly Rafael had made a lot of head way, but nowhere near the levels the Chaos Bringer wanted. Survival of them both dictated that he was going to have to become strong enough to compete in DA and win. Of course the competition was only a means to an end. Learning about the other Primes of the Omniverse was an invaluable opportunity in and of itself, if Unicron were to be honest. Plus, if the rumors were true the place was supposed to have many rare books.
