Grapefruit, Zero Ranger - Grapefruit - 12-15-2017 CHARACTER NAME: Grapefruit CHARACTER SOURCE: Final Boss Raw Label CHARACTER HISTORY:  Much of Grapefruit’s memory has been wiped, because Omni had called him to the Omniverse right at the moment of his death. All he can remember was flying around, in the middle of a war fought between a vast alien fleet and two human pilots. He fought against both sides just for the sake of it. Perhaps he had another reason, he’s not sure. In the end, he died after a fulfilling battle between the two humans… or did he sacrifice himself to save them from the blast of an alien battleship? It doesn’t matter. Now he must focus on finding his place in this world he has been transported to. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Grapefruit is a humanoid, dark green robot with orange eyes. In the world he came from he was the size of a fighter plane, but in the Omniverse he is 6 feet 5 inches tall. His limbs are long and slender, and are offset by his large shoulder pads. It looks like he is wearing a mask, but this ‘mask’ is actually part of his face. At the center of Grapefruit’s chest is a large, orange-glowing capsule that looks like the cockpit of a fighter plane. Grapefruit is powered by an engine inside his torso. This engine is powered by orange juice, which Grapefruit intakes through his mouth. Why orange juice? Don't ask. Lastly, there are numerous weapons and gadgets built into his body, but most of them are offline right now because his Omni power is low, and he can’t remember how to activate them. STATS: ATK: 2 DEF: 1 SPD: 2 TEC: 5 STARTING PROFICIENCIES: Physical Strength (1000) STARTING POWERS: Survival (2000), Master Super Jumping (800) STARTING MOVES: Orange Slicer (600) Each of Grapefruit’s hands can generate a 3 foot sword made of orange light. Grapefruit is skilled enough with these blades to deflect most small projectiles, even bullets. He can form and deform these blades at will, but it takes a second for the blades to form or deform. He can't use any other special powers while generating/getting rid of his blades, so in that second he is essentially defenseless. The power of this move depends on which mode he uses. Mode 1 - Single Blade: Grapefruit places both hands together to form a single blade. Its slicing potential is great, but Grapefruit cannot take full advantage of it due to his average strength; at most he could chop a log in half. This mode is also a bit slow; keeping up a constant assault of quick slashes is not feasible. The mode is more well-suited for making single powerful strikes. Mode 2 - Twin Blades: Grapefruit forms two blades, one from each hand. Or, he can generate only one blade and leave his other hand free. The blade's slicing power is average, it would take multiple strikes for the swords to cut through a log. To make up for it, this mode is faster than the single blade mode.
