Influence Questions - Oleander - 12-11-2017
I did not put this in the QQ because there's multiple and it might be a bit more of a debate unless an official ruling is made, but I searched and found nothing on any of the following questions.
- There are two bonuses; 500OM and the Rest Bonus, but the following sentence says "this is" referring to a singular vinacular... Is this referring to the "bonus" as a lump of both, or is the latter (the rest bonus) what is only given once? Rephrase in case that was confusing; do you gain Rest once, but 500 OM per Recognition?
- Are the "special verses" IE Nexus, Dataverse and Astral verse in particular, capable of acruing Recognition?
- Would Recognition in one Verse have any adverse effects in regards to opposing locations (Faction bases, in particular the Empire and Kingdom Verses) or would this simply be fodder?

For 3. I would say it would be linked to your specific character that has Recognition/ascendancy and there standing with the factions. So if your a high ranking coruscant official Camelot will in turn hate you.

But you can gain recognition without Faction influence, right? "May be done as a faction" suggests it can be solo... another thing that's open ended.

1. Upon receiving Recognition, you get a lump sum of 500 OM. Your rest points cap increases. Both of these are one-time bonuses that unlock when you first receive Recognition. Earning Recognition in a 2nd verse does not unlock any additional OOC benefits.
2. Nexus, no. Astral Verse + Dataverse, yes (the physical Dataverse, not the message boards)
3. As it stands currently, there's nothing stopping someone aligned with the Empire (with the boost of Coruscant Recognition) from throwing a Base down in Minas Tirith, but logic would tell me doing so would throw up some red flags for Kingdom management.
