Koola Powerups? - Cell - 11-18-2017
I'm undecided on how I want to have powerups for Koola. Some are obvious but I don't know how I want to slot them into the tiers and some might not get used at all.
Here's what I'm thinking:
100% Power (1P)

Much like Frieza, T1 would be Koola reaching his "full" strength but being unable to hold it for long (SP usage). I like this because I think Koola's basic design is cool and I don't necessarily want to lose that when powering up. He'd basically get more muscle but otherwise look the same.
Final Form (FF)

His masked, spiky form. It's pretty awesome and iconic so it'll have to be included somewhere. It could be either T1 at 50% power and then T2 100% or just a T2.
Metal Koola (MK)

I like this form but I'm not sure if I want it as a powerup or an alternate form. Technically MK was stronger than Final Form in the movies so it makes me think it should be a powerup, but FF is cooler. This is probably the hardest one to work out. It'd be T2, or possibly T1.
Golden Koola (GK)

A long way away as a T3 and pretty much decided on any powerup path I take.
My layouts I've brainstormed are:
1) 1P > FF > GK
2) FF50% > FF100% > GK
3) FF > MK > GK
4) MK > FF > GK
5) 1P > FF > MK
6) 1P > MK > FF
I'm probably leaning mostly towards 1), 2) and 4) but I just can't decide. Any feedback would be awesome.

I think 1, 2, and 4 is solid, bruh. You CAN have multiple Power Ups per tier, so if Metal strikes your fancy, get it too and have it increase different things. Bigger Def and Str, lower Spd and Tec, or something.

That's a good point. I could have MK be like a lazy T1 powerup (he gets covered in metal) as well as T1 100% (which would take more effort on his part).

I'm all about 1. I think that for most folks, Tier 2 should be your iconic transformation - Super saiyan or whatever. Tier 1 gets used so frequently and with such little drama, I think it's better used as something minor.
Metal Koola and Golden Koola could be separate power-ups, instead of MK being an alternate form. Maybe an alternate T2? I dunno.

Completely agree. I had considered the transformation as Tier 1 because that's Koola's thing - being a shapeshifter. But then I thought it takes away some of its cool factor if it gets brought out all the time.
So I've decided to go 1. I'm torn between having two transformations at T1 and T2 which are just metal forms of his two states or having MK as a separate T2 transformation. At least there's a long way to go before I have to decide that.
