Hey I'm currently thinking about completing the Dragon's Maw Quest after i finish my post with Shang Tsung but it got me to thinking. Since the Frozen fields are literally frozen glaciers how will my pyromancy help. If i went to fight a giant would my pyromancy be deemed useless?

Your surroundings only affects your abilities if you want them too. For example, Monkey is powerless in water, but only because his writer wants to keep that weakness for roleplay flavor. If you wanted your Pyromancy to be weaker against Ice Creatures, that'd be fine, but it's your choice. By the rules, your abilities will affect any opponent exactly the same.
