There are dungeons to dragon - ElFailzalot - 10-04-2017

I have a mighty urge to dungeon some dragons. All I need is fellow players to put through the horrid meat grinder of my imagination play with. Ideal day of play every week would be Saturday, but I can possibly arrange another day at need. Whether you know what you're doing, or have never played before, don't be concerned. It won't be the first time I've had someone of your skill level in the group.

Game will be D&D 5e, because it's simple and what I have more or less memorized. Expect homebrew from quest rewards and such things, but otherwise sticking mostly to basics from core handbook to keep things simple. Any further questions (such as about the prospective campaign or anything else), or potential interest, just let me know.

Where do you online D&D though?

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

I'd like to join, but I has game on Saturdays already. And Sunday. Sad

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Oleander - 10-04-2017

I'd love to play some 5e, particularly Warlock. XD Sadly, already have a game Saturday. If the day switches, I'm definitely up for it.

Currently the only days I have set in stone as unavailable are Friday and Saturday, so if any other days work lemme know and I can see what I can do.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Oleander - 10-04-2017

Literally any day besides Saturday. Tongue

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Professor Sunshine - 10-04-2017

I can do anyday if you want. Though it will have to be between 4 and 10 PM and Noon to 10 PM on weekends. Plus I can't do voice, so we'll have to do Text.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

Any day except Saturday and Sunday are free for me, though if the game ends by 8pm EST on Sunday, I can play then too. I work Monday through Saturday, and while I'm usually home by 5pm, sometimes work runs til 7 or 8.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - ElFailzalot - 10-04-2017

Hmm....well, I do have another game on Sunday, but that one starts at 7 EST...so we could arrange something for Jeff to cover that case. What time'd you folks be available on Sundays?

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Oleander - 10-04-2017

Not too early, but anything after noon is good for me. Are we doing voice or chat based?

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

I'm good literally any time before 8pm. 9 latest.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

I also prefer voice, since typing can take longer, but I can handle either.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Oleander - 10-04-2017

I can prolly find a way to do Voice. Maybe we can do voice through Discord (I can use my phone for that part.) The headphone jack on my PC is fucked up otherwise. XD

Also: Definitely thinking Half Elf Warlock... Eldrich BLAAAAAST YEA!

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

I'm running a human Warlock in another campaign. Fiend and Blade. I AM the King of Darkness.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Handsome Jack - 10-04-2017

Also, in that campaign, we actually ran into a dragon in a dungeon.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - ElFailzalot - 10-04-2017

Alright, so, discord for this thing here. Join in on it at yer leisure: https://discord.gg/bgzg9SZ

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Tearen Wover - 10-05-2017

Perhaps I can on Fridays. Saturdays are hit and miss.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - ElFailzalot - 10-05-2017

We ended up scheduling in things for a start time on Sundays at 2-3 PM EST. I'll just jot that down in "things I should have updated here sooner". Technically still have room for one more player, if anyone else is interested and available at that crazy ass time.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - Professor Sunshine - 10-08-2017

Well considering nobody else will, I will summary after each Sunday session so non D&D people can read our story.

Session 1 Recap

The adventure of the group begins as the five find themselves in a room, having been sent there by the Ghast Queen. After a bit of exploring the group find two explorers trying to take down a ogre, and after a battle they find a piece of the Lich's Hand from the ogre, as well as a pirate necklace. The group then find two bullywugs and some skeletons and kill them while searching and finding two more pieces. Then the cleric of the group tried to talk to a thug they found, only to end up in a encounter with said thug. Eventually, the group fought a Wight and got the final pieces of the Lich's Hand. As the group got the pieces together and went on the elevator outwards, trap doors activate as the party falls downward into water, becoming unconscious.

RE: There are dungeons to dragon - ElFailzalot - 10-09-2017

So, yeah. Hijacking my own thread for another game I run. This one also takes place on Sundays, at 7 PM EST.

It's not D&D. In fact, it's a complete fucking mess. A terrible, frankenstein-esque hodge-podge of nightmarish extent. Complex for all the wrong reasons, but simple enough when you actually figure it out. Modern setting, lots of sci-fi and supernatural mixed in in more or less equal measure. Aliens, demons, advanced technology, psionics, magic, it's all there because I have no restraint. Currently have an opening for one more person, after some recent party shuffling due to LIFE. Lemme know if you'd be at all interested.
