Angel's OC petition - Desman Black - 09-20-2017
As some of you know, I have made a charter named 'Angel', she is from an AU to our world where our original characters would be cannon (though the medium you think would best suit them, Ex. Books, anime, video games, stand alone movies, ect. [if you can't think of one I would be quite happy to work if you in deciding one])
While I have gotten permission from most of the people I intend to RP with as Angel, it has come to my attention that the staff members would prefer a public record of these and so I am asking for anyone who is playing an Original Character in the Omniverse and is okay with my newest character having inside knowledge to the basics their CONCEPTS ONLY upon meeting/seeing/hearing of them IC due to the rules of the site, please give your permission below. (I guess I can always answer questions here as well if anyone are confused)

I can't imagine that my character would warrant a show/book or whatever, as he is really just a minor scribe in his homeworld.

Though of course, Gaston himself is a pre-existing character, my alt, Dick Howland, comes from an OC superhero universe. It's going to be expanded in his backstory, but maybe you could make it like, the DC or Marvel of Angel's world?

I don't have an OC, but bear the following in mind:

Importantly, your character should never use details of these fictional worlds to know real facts about other Primes, for example saying "oh hey, Palpatine was in a movie, he has lightning attacks!". Your character will have had this knowledge erased by Omni, for balance sake. Unless you purchase Insight, in which case you may roleplay in those specific cases as having that memory returned.
Basically what this boils down to is this: maybe Ebonywood Hellscythe is a character in your universe from the popular show, "Lame of Bones." You'll still be aware that she is a character in this show. You wouldn't, however, be aware of any exploits she performed (this would require both Telepathy AND time), any abilities she has (Insight and time), or really anything about her other than she was a character in that show.
Just bear this in mind, so you don't end up doing something like, "Oh cool! The Humble Sage! Or, as he's known as in his own universe, Reynold del'Ortine. He's from a rich family, guys, and likes to beat people up with his cane! Good to see you for literally the first time ever, if you don't count 'Lame of Bones'."

I would think that Touhou would be known; meaning you would know Cirno its just this one might be a bit different from pure canon cirno (since Gensokyo is like that a lack of character pasts unless its in some canon material.)

I moved this to the help desk (because we're not discussing this as an idea or anything, you're asking people if you can or can't use their characters).
And I pruned all of the unecessary comments. Please only respond if you have an OC (NPC or Player Character) that you do or don't want Desman to be able to recognise.
