Can you no longer complete older book clubs? I noticed the older ones are now locked? How do? (Can we fix this?)

Uh, the old ones are super old and follow an old format. As for the Neo Hyper ones, if you want to do them, I'll open them up for you if you wanna take the time do do them.

That would be sweet, but if the C&C to those threads isn't really valued then I can understand not wanting to shell out the OM for them. Are there still new book clubs coming out or nah?

I mean, you'll get the OM reward if ya do it, wouldn't be fair to give everyone else their OM and not you because you're a little late to the party. And yeah, I'd bring out more Book Clubs, if there was more interest. But it seemed like people didn't really care about it (but they all seemed to actually want C&C :frogbon: ).
If people show interest, I'll throw up some more Book Clubs, if not, I wont. It's up to the people to decide.

Alright, I'll open them up and I'll update this post with thinks to all of them. I'll leave them open for 2 weeks.
And I just want to make it clear that I'm only opening them to promote more C&C. After this, Locked Book Clubs will probably stay locked.

Also, if you're interested in seeing more Book Clubs, please respond to this thread. We really do like to promote the Constructive Criticism of our member bases' writing (if they want it), in the hopes that everyone will improve and benefit from it.

Hey me and Gaston tried setting up a form of Book Club just a few weeks ago. We called it the C&C Master thread. The idea was for everyone to get an equal chance of getting a C&C. Our latest threads were thrown in it to kick start the thing.

I believe he was saying that there was some interest in some C&C/book club style thread before, and he and a few of his friends here were trying to get that rolling again. I know for sure about three to five were interested in some way in that thread, more for the usual book club and that was before Sasuke and Gil returned which, let's be honest here, revamped the whole "Book Club or Na?" discussion. Not saying it wasn't there before, just saying those two particular members draw a bit more weight in one way or another due to their popularity with the general members of this site and its staff.
That is what he's talking about.

I don't think he was responding to anybody as such. Daniel runs the Bookclubs, and this was just an update on the overall Bookclub situation - don't read too much into it.
Speaking of which, I am totally interested in further bookclubs.

When he said "I didn't forget about this, What are you talking about?" It didn't occur to me that he was attempting to make a joke of sorts. I do apologize for being overly confrontational if that's what this could be called, I knew before-hand that he runs the book club and I knew the latter portion of his post was an update, but MK should still have been acknowledged. Do any of you enjoy it when you try to say something and it just passes over the one you're trying to communicate to?
Consider me interested as well. In the book club thingy that is.
