Dumped by Omni - Tearen Wover - 07-13-2017

So this is just a quick thought-prompt; you can respond either with a summary or with a short story.

But,

What would your Prime do if they were suddenly booted back into their homeworld, right where they left off, exactly as they are (powers, memories) in the Omniverse?

Tearen Wover

Given the context of his home multiverse, it wouldn't be hard for Tearen to basically immediately reconnect to all of his previous universe-bending power. But, I'm not sure that he would. He would spend a lot of time in isolation, thinking about what he should do and performing maybe the occasional act of grace for people in need. If his multiverse ever came under serious threat, though, he would certainly rally to the front lines, and then fade away once things had settled down.

I guess he would just mostly want to be left alone.

Kopaka

Probably get his darkness purged by his fellow Toa and proceed through his normal canon as usual. Maybe be just a tad more edgy and aloof than usual.

RE: Dumped by Omni - Desman Black - 07-13-2017

Desman Black:

"Where's A.N.N.A? Where the FUCK is A.N.N.A? WHAT THE FACT HAPPENED TO A.N.N.A!!!!"

may post a real thing soon after Des goes though omniverse life more.

Edit:
Option 2: *Looks around on a computer* "Huh... What's... 'Omniverse RPG'... OMG I REALLY WAS IN AN RPG!!!"

RE: Dumped by Omni - Gildarts - 07-13-2017

I'm gonna make this Gil's nightmare in the astral realm

RE: Dumped by Omni - Spur - 07-13-2017

Assuming he didn't wake up dead, Zack would pretty much tear through the entirety of FF7.

Matrix returning wouldnt change the first half of ReBoot season 4, at this point, but he'd probably be a lot more prepared for the back half. Maybe the series wouldnt end on a cliffhanger.

And Zedd would be in bad shape. He'd have to hide out from the other bad guys and wouldnt be able to put up much of a fight.

RE: Dumped by Omni - Jack Darby - 07-13-2017

Well, if Repliku were stronger he'd murder all the members of the Organization save for Axel, Xion and Roxas.

RE: Dumped by Omni - Handsome Jack - 07-13-2017

Since Cell and Usopp are both Canon characters, they'll probably go back to what they were doing beforehand. Only diff might be Cell considering not blowing up the planet and going a Piccolo/Vegeta route to heroism.

Quote:I sit transfixed, gazing at the flat-screen TV pasted on the wall.  For three long hours I've been sitting in the vinyl backed couch of Moe's Doughs in Brooklyn. The crumbs of a dozen defeated donuts are scattered across my lap and table and I can't help but reminisce.  Back on the streets of Corsucant's 5th Tier, it would have been a dozen anime gangbangers that would have been iced, not the delicious Boston Cream pinched right now between my thumb and forefinger.

When I think on it though, I suppose times ain't so tough after all. Out here in the Big Apple, I got a pension, and if I keep walkin' the beat another 6 years I might actually be able to leave this dump and go fishing with a beer in my hand out in Canada until I die.  That don't sound so bad, and it sure beats rubbin' shoulders with all the costume clowns who was poppin' up on the Westside before I left.

Still, I can't help but sit their aghast, anxious and uneasy.  The TV's blaring out one terrible news piece after another, but the thing that still gets my goat, the one thing I can't believe, the most unimaginable, horrible and downright terrible thing to happen since I got dumped back out here by that Omni-guy... how the hell did the Warriors blow a 3-1 lead?!

RE: Dumped by Omni - The Vision - 07-13-2017

Well it really depends, guys, on whether or not we remember the Omniverse. If we remember it as actual events, we'd be pretty devastated. If a dream, that'd be a freaky nightmare.

(Vis doesn't dream so he'd know something's up right the fuck away though)

Your writing mesmerizes me

RE: Dumped by Omni - Dust - 07-13-2017

I've recently actually thought about this..

DUST:
Dust was transported just as a train was being attacked by local secret agents that just shot up another contractor who died in Dust's arms. So if he isn't immediately shot himself, he will probably be put back into line by the Russian's. Maybe even beaten bad into submission once more. They would call him a traitor and never let him forget it, but he wouldn't be able to feel embarrassment or regret anymore so who cares? He did what was needed to be done for her personal survival and no amount of brutality to his face would make his choice any less logical.

It's unclear if you mean they would remember or not, but since you brought it up I will assume the former.

If Dust was transported back into place with all the memories, he might be the only contractor in existence to go insane. To pass it off as a dream he had would just be too much for his logic. He wouldn't be able to deal with the fact that everything he had was just a dream. Or that it was lost to him now. He would be trapped again in his own body and his own mind. He would attempt to live like he had emotions once more, but without being able to feel joy from jumping into a pool of water it would all be wasted effort. Eventually he would be able to see what was happening, that he was just trying to pretend to be happy again, but wouldn't be able to accept that he can't be happy. He would always be thinking about the good times, the bad times, his whole life he had lost. He would wonder if he could go back. He wouldn't be able to experience the memories the same way.

And if its done quickly, he might go through a mental breakdown there on the spot.

He might even kill himself trying to tempt Omni to take him back...

ASH:

She already thinks she's in a MMORPG, so she'd just wake up thinking it was a game or a dream. And then continue her Pirate life.
