Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-07-2017

Whitewashed walls of concrete surrounded the long eared Commander as he gave a grunt of annoyance. Sitting in a cell with a aquamarine like glow was not a fun thing. But Erol was luckily stupid enough not to care what prison the blue tattooed like commander was thrown into, he had no specifications.

Oh well, the old Krimzon guard Commander would regret it later.
The daylight coming through barely came as the stormtroopers came by in groups of two  in groups with a blaster.

It took some time for Torn to think of the old habitable patterns of the Krimzon guard back home. He remembered they liked to move in pairs of two and how he even sent out the weirder Freedom guard back home in groups of diamond shape.

If he could predict movement patterns, he could possibly make a break for

He was a major standout, he had to do something about that.

But none of the other prisoners around Empire prison #321 knew the way out, right?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
During “breaktime”, there was a outdoor wall around the usual break area and the usual breaks were stopped by a blaster shot to the head.

Torn had picked up a few unlikely allies during his “time”. Him and his buddies were silently eying the guard’s movements and notice how the other prisoners tried to climb the wall but failed.

Drakin bent over and whispered into the tattooed warrior’s long ears “So i heard ya’ are planning a big one, are ya?”

Torn frowned ‘Shh, not here.”

Drakin nodded and nodded his pal “Sure, Tattoo.”

Krack turned and nodded, silently turning to Torn, with silent ways of pointing to his foot saying he had a map of the place before he came here. He would give it to the long eared man in exchange for getting them out.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-08-2017

Krack, a shorter eared elf, who was a bit more bigger boned than Torn himself, and Drakin who was skinner and was more a human who looked like a man who used to run in the olympics, had a tattoo underneath his arm.

Torn himself, had neatly formed brown dreadlocks in rows held by different beads of sorts, along with tattoos of the Krimzon guard back in his world on his face and visibly on his ears. He was glad to have a few guys on his side in the Omniverse but he was always cautious of new faces no matter the cost.

He did run a rebellion at one time. He knew to take people at face value and observe their strengths and weaknesses that could be used to help the cause. But since being in the Omniverse, it was a mess of problems following each other between Erol turning into a asshole, he trying to fight out of a empire prison with a few “friends” and finding Jak after all the mess.

The dreadlocked man eyed his two friends “Have you heard of a guy named Jak?”

Krack eyed Torn and blinked “There’s somethin’ on tv about Dante’s Abyss, I think he’s still in it.”

Drakin groaned “You mean that fighting tournament they hype up every year?”

Krack nods “Yeah that.”

Torn frowned “So wait, he’s there again? And he’s actually surviving this time?”

Drakin nodded “It says here he’s one of the final fights. If we can get out of here, take us to meet him.”

Torn gritted his teeth “Get us out first, then we’ll talk about it.”

Drakin grinned and nudged Torn “Why is this Jak guy important to ya?”

Torn frowned knowing this was coming “He’s a old friend of mine.”

Krack said “He doesn’t want to be bothered, let it go, Drakin.”

“Fine, Fine. I’m not going to step on anyone’s toes, got it.”

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-08-2017

From Torn’s experience, he had watched the Krimzon guards in their marches over time and observed the stormtrooper’s own moment, it seemed like the guards seemingly patrolling had almost the same armor as a KG had, except for the fact it was not red or blue or yellow.

If he could determine rank by face and ears alone, it would be a little harder to determine stormtrooper patterns and when they leave and switch shifts.

“Break is over, assholes… MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT.”

Torn muttered under his breath “What timing..”

Before everyone was moved back toward their “homes”, Krack delayed the process quickly, moving the map toward Torn and his weapons.

“Be safe man, don’t forgot us, got it?”

Torn nodded and slipped them down his boot where it couldn’t be found.

The white shelled man walked Torn back to his cell and locked it back up. That’s when Torn got serious and in business.

His map was folded carefully in his boot and slipped it out in the greyish rock solid bunk he had gotten.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-11-2017

As a message was relayed, krack and Draikin started the break. There was visible chaos as they started a fake fight. As they pretended to get at each other, they instead lunged at the stormtroopers guarding torn's cell. They opened Torn's cell and began to Run "COME ON, Tattoo!!! Let's Go!!!!!"

Krack and Draikin have blaster rifles at the ready that they stole from the stormtroopers.

A alarm sounded and the three began to run. Jak eyed ash and nodded at Daxter "it's started. Jak frowned "gotta do this guys" as the eco warrior turned dark for the first time since DA.

Stormtroopers tried to stop the intruders as they rushed in.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Ash - 07-11-2017

Ash met Jak's gaze with confidence and her head held up high, but with a smirk. She was neither intimidated by his look nor did she fear his judgment. Her otter appearance was much more intimidating than his anyways. She wore horns and a tail regularly, he only had horns part of the time. The eco-warrior didn't really have time to assess his new company for what she was worth, he was already planning to take action. Which was fine with her. She scoffed at Dax's comment about summoning guns as she slid the hook out of its placement. She gave it a couple of swings and then nodded him to stay back. "Less you can hang on, I suggest staying behind." She said, swinging the hook until it was a red and black blur. Standing very near to Dark Jak and preparing her attack.

As soon as a few solider's appear her hook flings through the air and swoops around the closest two. The hair spun around them twice before the hook scratched across the stormtrooper armor. When she tugged the tropper was impaled through the side by the hook's arm. Blood shot out and over the stark white armor before both were pulled out of Jak's way and into her sight. She jumped and planted her shoes into their faces. Her light weight did little to damage, but as soon as she made contact they felt themselves seezing up as lightening course their their bodies. She grinned back at her new battle companion. She jerked the hook loose and loaded it up in her arm's contraption preparing to take on the men guarding the prison.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Desman Black - 07-12-2017

Des was the first to rush in, had a basic plan already and everything.

The prison's door burst open and the first thing to be seen was a ball of light, most of the stormtroopers in the way ducked, this gave the robot the opening he wanted. Rushing as fast as he could (which, if we're being honest, is stormtrooper pace'd) and planted one wheel onto the stormtrooper conveniently separated from the other five that did not attack Jak or Ash.

Pointing his cannon at the grounded stormy, and his cutlass at the others, the robot stated a proposal. "Drop your weapons, or I shoot this man." It wasn't taken very well. The lasers came faster the Des could dodge them, of course, they didn't really need dodging, they didn't hurt, and were more of an annoyance if anything.

Running up to them in a cliche anime style, the robot chopped the weapon of, then hit over the head, each stormtrooper until the only one conscious was the Grondhog. Who immediately dropped their weapon.

"I-I saw you, down at the l-lower tier." Desman just stared, unsure why the sudden change of topic. "I-I'm not supposed to be down there b-but i was curious. I d-didn't know what they were hiding, a-and I still don't know. B-but I do know your h-heroes."

"Hear that jak, we got fans!" The crimson being said as an off-hand comment, not taking his eyes of the enemy, they still had a working gin afterall.

"I a-also didn't know I would be f-fighting the heroes in t-this job. I-I'm just doing it to pay for collage. Please don't hurt me!"

"Now why would a hurt a fan," Desman said, grapping the nervous wreak's arm. "hen i can make them pass out?" The body in armor dropped to the floor.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-12-2017

Albino Jak was a handful in himself and Torn would face his ranting after this was done. His claws grabbed a few of the soldiers in white’s necks and killed them without another word.
Some hero he was..
There was some sort of alarm and the dark warrior program experiment looked at his companions in some sort of happy grin.

Meanwhile, Krakin was bending down, shooting at the stormtroopers trying to take aim and fire.

Torn was taking each move, slow and calm as he cut the man's throat. How ironic him and his new friends were fighting for their lives, yet where was Jak when he needed him the most? Caught up in hero work in Coruscant?

Torn growled and pointed with two fingers “Brainbolts dead ahead!”

Krack and Drakin fought back with stormtrooper blaster as the whole prison seemed to be cheering for the rebels not the boys in white.

Some of the stormtroopers cursed as there were more problems than solutions at the time

“Commandos! WHAT?”

“They are KNOWN freedom fighters?”

“Shit.”

"You are heroes, stop this!!!"

Torn looked at his crew members. These two assholes made for great teammates.

A roar.

Jak was coming for him and his friends.

Finally.

Torn picked up outfits.

Krack, Drakin, put these on.

He threw them a extra pair of outfits that would make them feel like they were in his world.

They smirked and slipped them on.

They covered their eyes, continuing to run taking down stormtroopers as they went.

As they finally met in the middle, Jak didn't’ recognize the three but saw Torn’s deadlocks and nodded “Let's get the hell out of here.”

Torn growled “Cover our asses, pal.”

Another protect the boss mission.

Jak cleaned the area with a supernova shot, the area turning white.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Desman Black - 07-14-2017

As the 'fan' stormtroper fell to his knees at the robot's touch, a big red button could be seen, it looked like it was a...

"Crap." It took only moments for the robot, and probably everyone else in the building, to hear the alarm sounding.

"Attention: Emergency in Areas 5I and 5J, repeat, Emergency in Areas 5I and 5J, All available stormtroppers report to the sites immediately

An almost unrealistic amount of stormtroopers surrounded the area, as well as the 'Good guys' that had broken in. It didn't take much more effort to defeat the same number of white suits as last time, but the added amount of stromtroopers did get tiring.

A majestic roar could be heard from the corridor. "Please tell me that's not what I think it is." Des said to himself, not realizing he was in ear shot of the the demon, who he had also not realized was relishing in killing each and every stormtrooper as violently and bloodily as possible for a M15+ rating.

Soon, another thing came from the hallways as well, and it was big. The crimson midget didn't wait a moment to react, attempting to push Ash out of the way from whatever it was, tripping over one of the many troopers guns and connecting his face near the indent of the rip, any further up and it would've been another anime cliche to add to the omniverse.

"If I wanted a vibrator I'd make one." Des was confused about why Ash had said this comment, putting his hands either side of the demons hips, he was able to push himself up off the squishy yet hard surface the robot found himself on.

Once he relized where he was (After catching some cleavage) he shot up, not to a complete stand, but enough so that he wasn't close to Ash's body. "I-I'msorry." Des was even more of a blubbering mess then the stromtrooper his words meshing together, almost indistinguishable. "IDidn'tMeanToIt'sJustIWasTryingToShieldYouFromTheBlastAnd..."

"You mean the blast that shot over there?" Ash inquired, pointing behind Des. "And If that's the case, why are you trying to unbuckle my bra?"

Desman got himself into an upright position, his hands now clearly visible to the demon. "I'm not."

As if on cue a muffling could be heard from underneath Ash, who stood up to reveal a Daxter, both red-handed, and red-faced.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Ash - 07-14-2017

Between harmlessly shocking the stormtroopers until they lay motionless but alive and gutting more than a handful of them with her bladed hook, it was an injustice to say that Ash was enjoying herself. Normally she didn't get this kind of pleasure unless she was naked, but she was enjoying the gore graphics a lot more than she expected. It was easy to immerse herself in the game when they threw the most common fodder at her. These blank soldiers were perfect for experimentation, and experiment she did.

Blasting her grapple into one of them, she found that she could force the spear in the center of the hook into their body, but the armor sadly prevented full impaling. Sad. She just finished prying it out of a bleeding corpse when she heard a roar in the hallway ahead of her. She noticed Jak was missing and could only assume he was taking out all that pent up anger out on some poor sap. She stepped over her kill and moved to target the next trooper. He had no choice, he had to attack her. He needed to support all the NPC babies. She didn't pity him though. She turned like she was going to run, but jumped onto the wall and then off the wall and down the hall. As she passed him her hook went under the chin of the guy. By the time he hit the floor he was already dead, but she made a show about hurling his body down the hall to bowl over a set of freshly spawned fodder.

She was already marking it as a strike in her mental log when she caught something out the corner of her eye. She turned to face whatever it was, just in time for Desman to trip over one of the countless blasters, or was it a severed arm, at this point, it was hard to keep track. The awkwardness of the red midget flying at her made it hard to dodge, so she was tackled onto something soft and squishy as the mobile bafoon-droid fell on top of her between her legs.

Ash felt a vibration of either his motor or drive working overtime against her crotch.

The Storm Demon was a bit surprised that the robot even had a modest setting, but he blabbered on about trying to shield her from danger. In the hallway, she could see the flash of light. If it weren't for the genuine level of his freak out she'd think he was doing it on purpose. There was a time for sex, and as hot as the idea was of going at it with someone during a prsion break, she couldn't help but dismiss the robot despite the ballsy attempts to unclip her bra even as he was trying to play innocent. Only to realize he was holding both hands up in surrender to prove his innocence. Instead, the one that had the balls was Daxter.

He was hanging from her bra as she peeled herself up off the floor. Either he'd been caught in the middle of battle, or his hand was pinned there by accident; it made her smirk regardless. She reached back and grabbed him firmly, before pulling him off her back and bringing him close to her pierced lip. "Cheeky Bastard." Her grin grew as she teased him, then gave him a kiss of encouragement before noticing there were a few figures already racing down the hall. She spotted Jak immediately and noticed the dreads flopping against a stormtrooper's armor. She guessed that was ole Torn.

"Alright, boys, time to bail." She announced to the two who were molesting her then slid out from under Desman while still holding onto Daxter. She pushed her hook back into place before they reached the three. As they got close, she switched Daxter to her other hand and picked up the blade from her left thigh as she began to run back through the various hallways; following the carnage she had left behind like breadcrumbs.

Still leading the pack of guys, as she should be, Ash leaped over a set of bodies like a pro ballet dancer. When she landed she cut a corner hard, remembering that particular spot. Another turn and another twist on escape, her heels were pathetic for gripping the smooth laminated floor, so she leaned her weight into toes and slid through a puddle of blood like it was soapy water. The trail of her bloody heels eventually fades as the pass through a few more halls so that the only way to track her is by following the distant echo of her shoes. In the meanwhile, Daxter inflated back to his normal size but was still being held by the girl of his current dream. He seemed okay with being carried like a toy doll until they escaped.

All around them the alarms were still going off, yellow and red lights flashed as a warning for them to stop and give up, but no one wanted that any less than Ash. She was fine with a bounty or two, but she had shit to do and going to prison would make those goals a bit harder. "Jak? Where are we going?" Ash asked over her shoulder. She could get them out of here, but she had no idea where to take them after that. She wouldn't mind him taking the lead, it giver her a chance to check out his ass if he was done looking at her barely covered cheeks.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-14-2017

“We have three Primes and a secondary sir!

A stormtrooper muttered “Primes, every damn time.”

Jak eyed Ash with a smirk “Away from here, maybe a nice trip to the beach would be nice. The ottsel was dripping drool “With Ash of course.”

Torn yelled “Snap the hell out of it you four, let’s kiss and tell when we get the hell out of here.”

Desman stepped back “So this is the man, Torn, Jak?””

Jak nodded and looked over at Torn who nodded “I don’t have TIME for introductions. Some friends of mine are holding off the guards which shouldn’t give us that much time.”

Torn eyed the red shiny robot “New faces make me nervous.”

Ash smirked “You got your stuff, dreadlocks?”

Torn frowned and kept shooting.

Jak smirked “Nice gear Torn, suits you. You pick up fresh clothes?”

Torn gave a visible look to Jak and the crew and frowned “I got it handled. But why Jak, save my ass after..”

Jak shook his head “Later, Torn.”

The white stormtrooper armor was made to look like the others so that Torn didn't stand out from the crowds.

The commander used his dagger to protect himself as he kept running.

Torn was ahead of the others as Jak, Ash and Daxter and finally Desman finally caught up.

Nearing the exit, everybody made a explosive exit t and made it out, barely.

“Torn’s coming with, even though he’s walking trouble right now.”

RE: Torn's Big Break - Storyteller - 07-17-2017

As they cleared the walls of the facility, the group's merriment at the apparent ease of their escape was brought to a thundering halt with the sound of a hundred and more boots skittering to a stop. Arrayed in a half circle around them, dozens of rifles were trained on the group. An implacable, faceless wall of white plasteel, grim skull-facades of helmets obscuring the soldiers themselves.

In the back of the group, a lone trooper bearing the mark of captain lifted a hand to his helmet, activating his com-link. "Got eyes on them. Three primes. One secondary. One animal. Just like the reports from inside said." A moment of silence, "Understood." He stepped forward, switching from the comm unit to a voice amplifier, and the sudden increase in volume carried clearly over the group of his subordinates to the impromptu prison break group. "You have one chance and one chance only. Lay down any weapons you have and surrender."

"Not a chance!" Jak snarled, and his hands went for his own gun. In an instant, no less than a dozen bolts of laser fire impacted the ground around him, and missed him by a hair. Singe and scorchmarks were left among his hair and clothing, and one hand had taken a clean hit, leaving him to stagger back and drop to a crouch, eyes wide.

"Like I said. One. Chance. Consider that your only warning shot." The captain's voice remained calm and cold, his helmeted visage now firmly locked on the eco warrior. "Any more smart moves and the consequences will be dire."

"Dire? Gimme a break..." the gruff voice of the prisoner they were helping escape spat. "What's the worst you could possibly do? Even with all of you here, if we had to we could get through you and you know it."

"I've no doubt. You were resourceful and capable enough to break in, and almost break out again. You could probably break through our line and make a break for it." The captain remained distant, almost disinterested. "You wouldn't get away, but it would just escalate this incident further. More paperwork, more casualties, more damage to repair. We can't allow that."

"I've had enough!" Jak's voice barked, his skin flashing a pale tone. Violet sparks raced across his body, his blaster-wound-bearing hand curling into a fist as he sprang up, reaching for his blaster again. "We're getting out of here, and we're doing it no—"

The captain turned aside, lifting a hand to access his comms unit again. "....affirmative. Yes, they're still here. ....copy that." He looked back to Jak, and his tone held amusement as he spoke up again. "Well, looks like for all your strength and whatever else you might have that would've given you a chance yo escape, we've got you beaten cleanly in one regard."

This time, it was the bizarre red robot on wheels that spoke up. "And...what's that?"

The captain just pointed up. Even with the helmet, the grin on his face was evident. "Planning."

Five surprised faces turned to look up in time to see a massive metal...SOMETHING hurtling down from the sky. Someone among the group realized what it was and shouted out an obvious warning to "MOVE!" and they all scattered, diving for whatever cover they could find as the huge, metallic mass impacted like a missile, tearing apart the ground and leaving a massive, smoldering crater directly around it.

"What...the hell..." Torn extricated himself from under a chunk of debris, sitting up and shaking off a spike of dizziness. "...was that?!"

In response, a hissing of pressurized air sounded, and a huge chunk of the thing erupted out like a cannonball. It missed Jak by inches, embedding in the wall behind him and threatening to bring a section of it down. "I am the Emperor's Will made manifest!" came a thundering voice from within what was, by now, clearly a drop pod. Heavy boot treads sounded, as a massive, lumbering form emerged into the light. Towering over any other figure in the vicinity, armor gleaming and resplendant, and colored lenses in its helmet glowing a deep, ominous shade of red, one of the Empire's Space Marines glared down at the prison breaking group.

"You will stand down, and accept the Emperor's Mercy!" he demanded, voice impossibly deep and resonating. In his hands, the massive bolter came up, ready to fire at a moment's notice. "Or you will suffer a fate worse than death."

RE: Torn's Big Break - Desman Black - 07-18-2017

Desman had put his 'hands' up slowly after the space marine said to stand down, of course none of the group seemed particularly keen on his decision. At least one of them even managing to hiss in a 'What are you doing.', though probably not as polite.

"Look, I can't really trust any of you," The midget started, pointing at the person they were referring to when they said 'you' "I met you while watching a gladiator bloodbath, I have no memory of this 'saving the Omniverse thing' you've been talking about, you are only here using Daxter to get something from Jak, and I literally just met you while you were breaking out of jail." Going to turn back around to the stromtroopers, Des finally saw it, the mass amount of severed limbs and other body parts scattered around the jail floor. "Who... who did that?" Des really did not want to know the answer to this.

"Your group did." Anyone could see that if Des had skin, that it would turn green at that moment.

"I wouldn't..." managed to sleep though the robots mouth.

"Des listen."

"No, you listen!" Des lashed out at Jak, they weren't even sure if he was the one that said it, but he needed to release his anger before it hurt someone. "I only came and helped you because I wanted answers to what happened during my forgotten memories, but if that is what they're like, I don't want to know. I'm going with them."

Quote:Des has surrendered to the empire

RE: Torn's Big Break - Ash - 07-18-2017

Ash came to a skittering stop but how little that helped, so she all but fell into Torn's back as he was already pushing to take the lead with Jak on the escape into the city. He did not look pleased to have the girl slam into his back despite helmet still on his face or the fact that he could probably pick her up one handed and throw her at someone for an improved attack. There were a million other things that deserved his attention than the scandalously dressed woman that was tagging along with Jak and others. A blur of orange fur ran up her arm and found his way to her shoulder, only for the floppy ears to fall back behind his goggles and both him and the girl he was riding took steps back so that they were behind the men. It was conveniently timed with Jak's grabbing of his own gun, so when the shots rang out with the iconic 'pew' she froze in place as to not warrant another 'warning' shot.

Daxter wasn't excited at all about taking on a hundred or so people all at once, she heard him groan that 'we're screwed' sound that she was all too used to. All her life Ash was surrounded by people who acted tough but never had the balls to do anything when the chips were on the table. It always ended with her showing them how it's done and then coming back to beat their faces in for making shit-stains in their frilly panties or just not talking to them all together even when they begged for her help. Jak and Daxter were different because she at least had a vague idea of what they were capable of, if only because everything else was adding up to what she remembered. So, while it was refreshing to see Jak get ready to fight it out, Ash couldn't help but notice something odd about all this.

"It's almost as if they are using distraction tactics.." She managed to voice her insight to Daxter before her blind looking eyes saw the only rank looking stormtrooper lift his hand and talk to some unseeable force. Moments later they heard something falling from the sky. Escaping the crushing pod that battered up the front yard was easy for a girl like Ash, even in heels. She was already out of the way by the time the other three knew what to do, Daxter was another furry blur already escaping to Jaks' side. She found herself tucked conveniently between three walls and while the concrete of the ground pelted the front door of the prison from the impact, breaking most of the front wall and revealing the bloody mess left in her wake. Her suspicions confirmed.

Had she had the time to tactically approach this job, had she realized how severely pissed off the Empire could get about touching their stuff, maybe this would have gone a little better than it was now. As it was though, the hulking blue armored figure was rolling out of his pod like a vampire out of a coffin ready to play with those pesky kids who came too close to his lair. With a commanding voice that vibrated against her sternum even from the hiding hole and left her panties a little wet, the Emperor's Mercy warned them that resistance is futile. A grin slid across her cheeks at the threats, it was almost like back at home.

Including that one guy who shit the bed, this time it was short, red, and metallic. He pointed at her when he got to her on his list, accusing her of using Daxter to get something from Jak. She faked looking hurt so good it was hard to forget that she looked like the personification of pure evil in most cultures. Her tail whipped like a ribbon in the breeze as she smiled across the way at the Dark Eco-Worrier and gave him a wink. "I just wanted to get his autograph." Her words were mostly honest. She had wanted more than just a signature from him, but nothing as menacing as the robutt was implying.

Then the metal midget who had bravely thrown himself over her turned tail and pointed at Jak, giving the other demonic looking figure a piece of his microchip before firmly stating he was not longer going to tag along like some lost puppy if all that was in the past was more gore and destruction of property. She thought about calling him out for being a coward, but she knew all too well that that was probably the best thing to do. Desman didn't come off as the typical robot you'd see in the movies, where they are always intelligent and always have a stick firmly shoved up their ass, but he did seem intelligent and capable of calculating risks. Ash didn't honestly think that was his reasons, as far as she could tell the AI running the character kept him cautious but good in nature.

The Storm Demon watched as Desman took a few steps away from them and then tried to offer his hands for cuffs of some sort, the big guy didn't seem at all amused with these antics. In the meanwhile though, she looked back at Jak. His anger-twisted face slowly melted into concern as he watched Desman give himself up, it didn't help that his friend's words were cutting clean through him and left the transformed figure standing a little less ready to attack. Ash watched as her ally cope with the guilt he was feeling in his heart about not able to help a friend so in need as Desman. She didn't find him any less attractive, but Ash has never been for sentimental crap. She didn't like most of the words on the 'emotion' list, but she's had her back on the world for a long time now.

While tattooed and scary struggled with the odds of this fight, the long eared albino lets his fists unclench as if he thought about giving himself up as well. He was just about to release his form and follow Des' example if only because he felt like he owed the guy something other than more stress when he saw something move out the corner of his eyes.

He watched in shock as Ash seemed to magically appear in front of the heavily armored man. In her right had the hook he'd watched her used to disembowel many troopers before and sparkling blue lightning in her left. Her speed was inhuman, then again she was a Prime and should be expected to be incredible, but the lack of fear in this Lilith's actions would become legendary at least in the eyes of those who watched helplessly by while she made a mockery of their lack of action. Ash's foot landed on the head of Desman's hardware, and her sparking hand reached for the face mask. Neon blue electricity danced across the dark blue power armor, but as expected the man under it all would only be told he was being attacked by her. He was not amused. "How depressing, it's not a mech." She said, her voice clear and free of emotion other than amusement, but she had not gone insane.

The next second she's jumped far into the air at an acute angle towards the office building - probably a law firm being so close to the prison - as if she might have flight this whole time and had just been holding back. She did not. The only wings she had were in her heart. Guessing more than aiming, Ash launched her grapple hook at the building's wall. It shattered a window which sounded like 'cha-ching' to her and more paperwork for the captain. Gravity was already in motion, trying to drag the demoness back to the earth where she belonged, only her hands were already caught in the hair of her hook's rope. Swinging into action once more the fire-squad turned their guns on her and began to try to solve the problem with as many shots as they needed to.

The felt the heat of the blasters brush past her as they weren't having any of her shit, but she only smiled at it. "Come get me hot-stuff!" She screamed, addressing the man in armor before she was too far from him, sticking her legs out to land on the side of the building. It's concrete to window ratio was laughable and the shots fired at her now risked damaging the building further. She kept moving, knowing full well if she stopped for any longer than a second she would look foolish in front of Jak and Daxter. Using a burst of speed she launched herself up the walls towards the broken office window her hook snagged, she could feel it was only barely holding on to the rollie chair it had gripped on its way back, but she was so damn light it probably didn't even know she was there. Once inside she had to think quickly. If she could focus their fire the other's might get away. Alternatively, if she could escape, at least she can claim she tried.

This left the three suspects with jaws open and unsure how to follow.. Jak shook his white mane to clear his thoughts and then turns to Torn. "Get out of here while you can!!" And then he turned to the battle a head of him. He had to make a choice... Did he run and let Ash take all of this heat on by herself? (Minor thought; was that her plan?) Or did he stand and fight with the sexy badass who was making him and his crew look like chumps?

RE: Torn's Big Break - Storyteller - 07-18-2017

As the demonic woman did what she could to make good her escape, the assembled mass of the Empire's finest readied their weapons to deal with the ones left behind.

"Captain!" the lone ultramarine barked, his voice a deep, rumbling boom of sound. "Have your men deal with the escapee, the abomination and the animal." His helmeted gaze lowered, burning red lenses of his helmet resting on Desman. "And you, robot. You are henceforth banned from setting foot within the Empire. Now, accept the Emperor's Mercy!" In a blur of azure and gold, a massive boot came up and impacted with a deafening crash. A thunderous, squealing crunch of steel and stone, as the confused robot was reduced to a smoking, sputtering pile of scrap on the ground, in a boot-shaped crater.

The giant marine turned and despite his slow, lumbering gait from before as he exited the drop pod, his movements now were anything but slow. For such a giant being to move with such celerity was alarming. A blurred rush of blue, gold and white, streaks of red from blazing eye-lenses, and a noise like a pair of hammers pounding solid stone into powder. The great astartes thundered after the fleeing woman, bolter held in both hands. A single, mighty leap was all it took to send him rocketing up, and smashing through a window in the very same office building she had fled into. A noise like the entire building was coming down sounded as the bulk of the super soldier crashed onward, his momentum not slowing. A wall in his path didn't slow him, barging through it as if it were wet tissue.

Ash was no fool. The ruckus was enough to send her running as quickly as she could, trying to get away from the rampaging beast that had set its sights on her. But for all her speed, inhuman as it was, the predator was more spry than the prey. A deafening, explosive report sent a smell of something burning through the air, and what felt like pure, red-hot agony lit up every nerve in her body. She stumbled, trying to take another step, but a second explosive report sounded and a spike of pain hit her square in the back. She went down, slumping against a desk.

The pounding, hammer-strides of the space marine drew nearer. "Breaking into an Imperial prison. Assault of Imperial soldiers. Aiding in the escape of an Imperial prisoner. Resisting arrest. Assault of an Imperial Space Marine." The impossibly deep, modulated voice spoke up in an even, measured manner. A massive boot planted itself in the storm demon's side, 'gently' nudging her off of the desk with a bone-crunching kick. Over the desk, and into another one she went, reducing it to a pile of splinters and leaving her to stare up at the massive behemoth as he approached her again. "For these crimes, you are henceforth banned from setting foot in Coruscant. Doing so is a capital offense, and will be met with swift retribution. For the safety of all Imperial citizens is this decree made."

The bolter in the Space Marine's hands slowly rose, the barrel pointing squarely at Ash's face. "The Emperor protects." A quick one-two-three of explosive bursts, and the woman's head was no more, only a messy splattering of bits of skull and brain and scorched wood of the desk remained.

------------

On the streets below, the stormtrooper captain had returned to an intense staredown with Jak, the prime still locked in an in-between stance. Ready to leap into a fight, or to leap into fleeing. "I'd suggest you think real hard about what you do next, prime." He gestured at what remained of Desman with a jerk of his head. "That was Empire Justice being swift and merciful. It was instant, painless. You give up now, you get the same treatment. Make this a fight, and it'll be a lot more drawn out. What's it gonna be, pal?"

RE: Torn's Big Break - Jak Mar - 07-19-2017

That made two people dead on Jak’s shoulders. What would he do? Sacrifice his friends at home for his new Omniverse friends or if he died here, they would die as well.

The commander realized this and kept the ottsel’s mouth shut as they dove around a corner as Jak stood there to debate and growled.

Torn had a lot of better things to do then to babysit a ottsel who argued with him but the ottsel was worried for both of their lives.

Jak knew when he was beat and held up his hands “Before you shoot me, Captain.. Were we really heroes or was that a lie too?.. Jak was recording said response on audio.

Torn ran with the ottsel in tow using narrow alleyways via Coruscant to make it more difficult for those soldiers to sneak in.

Daxter even noticed a well placed vehicle oddly and nabbed it, while Torn took the speedy vehicle toward safety with said ottsel.

RE: Torn's Big Break - Storyteller - 07-19-2017

"Heroes?" the captain repeated, incredulously. "Did you take a chunk of ferrocrete to the head when you were smashing the hell out of that prison? You're nothing but a murderer. Broke in here, cost who knows how many people their lives, and probably a lot more their jobs. So many people and families to notify now. So many reassignments to be made. Good men and women, now nothing but coffin-fodder and losing their assignments. Not even mentioning all the damage that'll have to be repaired, all the paperwork that'll need to be filled out. And all for what? To save somebody locked up in a prison? We don't put people in here for no reason. Did you ever even stop to think about why he was in here?" He let out a short, harsh laugh. "Hell, for that matter, how you even knew he was in here is beyond me."

The captain turned aside, shaking his head. "But y'know, we should thank you for one thing. This made a good example. A good look at what we need to be expected to respond to and deal with at a moment's notice. Some crazy, rogue primes stirring trouble, making things dangerous for good, honest citizens." He turned back to glare at Jak from beneath the faceless visage of his helmet. "What would you have done if there'd been civilians in the area? Or Emperor forbid, in the prison? Visitation exists. If they'd been in there when you broke in and your prisoner pal had started shooting up the place, got caught in the crossfire between a bunch of rogue primes and a mentally deranged inmate, how many might have died or gotten injured?" The twisted scowl on Jak's face spoke volumes. "That's exactly what I fucking thought. You didn't even stop to consider it."

For a moment, the captain went quiet, studying the eco warrior intently. "....Sergeant. Deliver a warning shot." A single bolt of bright red energy erupted from a blaster near at hand with a sharp pew, and hit the elven man squarely in the chest, just below the throat. He went staggering back, dropping to one knee. Clutching at the injured area, coughing and hacking. "Damn primes. Trying to summon something to help you? Takes a lot of time and effort. You really think you had the chance to do that?" He shook his head. "Idiot."

The captain turned away. "We're done here. Hit him with an EMP, fry that damn recording he was trying to be clever about. Then give him the Emperor's Mercy." The sound of his boots striding away, clicking and clacking on the stone of the immediate prison grounds, couldn't overshadow the metallic clinking and clattering of a grenade rolling into place and detonating with a cacophonous boom and electrical crackling. The sound of hundreds of blaster bolts, turning the air into a sizzling wasp's nest of Imperial-brand Justice, sounded just a second afterward. The wet, pathetic chunk of a charred, broken body hitting the ground after the deadly salvo was music to the captain's ears.

"Command. This is Captain Rath Triald. The primes responsible for the break in part of the prison break in T2-D30-8597 have been handled. Two of their accomplices have gotten away on a hijacked vehicle. The prisoner they were breaking out, and an animal. May be a secondary. Prisoner was wearing a suit of armor from one of our troops. Should be easy to track down the improperly sealed unit. Lock it down and put an end to their ride." He strode away toward his own vehicle, sighing. "Getting too old for this..."

Elsewhere in Coruscant, just a few streets over, the vehicle that Torn had taken in his escape attempt moved with the most speed he could muster out of it. Damn it all, this plan had gone to hell. Caught as soon as they stepped foot out of the prison. Empire really was crawling all over the place.

A single alert crawled across the internal HUD of the stormtrooper helmet that the man wore. Alert. Unauthorized use of Imperial equipment detected. Locking down. As soon as the message was complete, the armor seized up. Joints locked in place, the plates of the armor constricted, and the helmet snapped into a locked position. It was suffocatingly tight, and the air filters to allow for breathing weren't online. With his foot firmly clamped down on the accelerator, and his limbs unable to work to steer whatsoever, the vehicle might as well have been a rocket.

It hit the side of a building, accompanied by the wailing shriek of a terrified ottsel, and was reduced to a crunched, smashed pile of slag.

Moments later, a trio of soft impacts hit the compacted wreckage. Three red lights blinked softly in unison, before a massive boom erupted, with a huge pillar of fire and a deafening FWOOSH. All traces of the wreckage, and any chance for the survival of its occupants, was wiped out in a huge fireball.

"Command, this is Streetsweeper 317. Cleanup is done. Targets taken care of. Might need a cleanup detail..."

Torn and Daxter have also been killed. As secondaries, they will not respawn but can be resummoned.

Have a nice day, and thank you for accepting Empire Justice.
