Dreams in Death - Desman Black - 06-16-2017 The scene's covered in a bright white light, like they do in the movies after the main character has fainted and you see them wake up though first person. The light eventually fades to allow a red headed man and and woman sitting on a cliff ledge to be seen. They're both about 7 foot tall, facing away to look the sunset, they're face never being shown. "Desman..." The woman voices, "Could you d-do me a favor." As she says this the world glitches, replacing the woman with a child of strawberry blonde who wore a cream sweater with two orange stripes, and the man with a metallic robot who was at least two feet shorter then his previous form. The now robot being spoke, seeming to be ambiguous to the change. "Of course A.N.N.A/Nexus, what is it." The two names seeming to be spoken from the robot at the same time. "Make me a promise, please never forget me." As the little boy spoke the second half of this sentence the glitches reappeared, but this time it wasn't the whole world that glitched just the being, turning into a flayed man with some sort of visor, a blond elven shooter with google, a tall black hair woman with light skin a a mouth guard, and a sliver hair man with a crimson red coat before glitching back into the little boy. "What are you talking about, I'll always remember you." "0H REALLY!!" The world glitched again, turning to lush grassy cliff into a never ending filed of burning short grass, the sky itself turning a blood red. As for the 'little boy', he had transformed into a giant creature, it had muliple heads, each one with the face of one of it's earlier forms, as well as a Cyberman, a horned robot, and what looked like a raccoon with glasses. The body itself was similar to one of a velociraptor while it's tail was a peacock's and the paws being from a large cat. "You were going to kill me!" The flayed head responded. You could tell the robot was started and scared when he fell backwards, using his hands to move away as quickly as possible. "I w-would nev-" "I think you said that you would use his own staff as well." the sliver haired head interrupted. "Isn't that right Desman." chimed in the elfish one. "You monster!" had also been added in by the pale women. "N-no, I would never do that." "YOU KILLED US!" Yelled the two robot's. "And YOU also let us die!" The raccoon's, little boy's and ginger's heads continued. By now the robot was on it's side curled up and crying with his arms on his face. "N-no, get awy from me. GET AWAY FROM ME!!" RE: Dreams in Death - Desman Black - 07-20-2017 Quote: This post (and all subsequent posts by me until stated otherwise) will take place after Torn's big break Desman woke slowly into the flaming filed of hell his subconscious had created last time he was here, but this time, it was sort of peaceful, that could do with the fact that the multi-headed creature wasn't here anymore. Desman! Can you hear me? The voice seemed familiar yet foreign, but the robot knew he could trust it. It's good your back. No, what i'm I saying, you need to be more careful, though it was for a good cause. "Who are you?" He found himself instinctively saying Oh, me. I am your messenger, the keeper of your thoughts and memories. "So you know what happened during the time I forgot?" You catch on quick, just as I expected, and I do. But those memories were locked by you cause your not ready to face them yet. "Then, do you have any information on how to unlock them?" I said I was the keeper of your thoughts, did I not? I even have the ones you yourself don't know of. But your thoughts have told me to let you figure out on your own. There is one thing I can offer you though, a quote, 'any spell can be broken with willpower'. Oh, look at the time I must be off, but before I go, when interacting the people you don't remember, follow your heart, and not your head, the latter is quite stubborn. RE: Dreams in Death - Desman Black - 07-21-2017 Des layed on the burning grass that had been created within his dreamscape, and without a giant monster or over-arching Deus-Ex-Machina voice, it was actually quite lonely. He didn't really know how he got here, but based on the email he got from Jak after the first go around, this is where he goes to where he dies, a space between conciseness and unconsciousness, so the beings he met were probably figments of their imagination, because no one can enter your subconscious, right? RE: Dreams in Death - Desman Black - 07-24-2017 It could have been weeks, mouths, years or day, Des wasn't really paying attention to the time, all they knew is that it had been a long time. Then it hit him. "God damn it!" Des shot up after finally realising there were other people around, other people that could have died. He needed to be there if they were to revive like he did. But how? He didn't remember how he got out of here last time, the last thing he could see was the monster that was his conscious embodied. It seemed weird though, not the normal type of weird you get in space-time hopping adventures, weird-weird, like this was some sort of '...Dream! This whole place is a dream. That would explain why all memories of this place seemed to be non-existed once he exited that dark place, you don't normally remember your dreams.' But that still leaves the question on how to get out. He can't even remember how he out out last time. The last thing he remembers is the creature attacking him. Wait, no, that was it, stress and fear causes people to wake up, so maybe it would work here, only 1 way to find out. Desman makes the closest sound to a gulp he can make as he summons his Cutlass into the hands that are in front of him, then trusts it towards his chest area. RE: Dreams in Death - Desman Black - 01-02-2018 The sounds of wheels screeching could barely be heard over the bombs and gunfire that surrounded the darkness. Opening his eyes painted a worse picture for Desman, as he saw the blood red sky shooting past him, and two faces, one a black haired almost metallic looking woman, the other a red hair man in a pirate getup. The faces didn’t seem to surprise him as much as the situation though. “Where are we, what are those noises?” “Don’t you remember? We’re at war sargent.” The pirate responded. “War?!” The robot was heavily surprised but this comment. “And what’s this pain I have in my (insert body part last hit to kill)?” “That would the bullet sir.” It was the girl this time, oddly calm for saying someone had been shot. Desman would’ve questioned it if it hadn’t had been for the fact that he too was oddly calm. “Well where are we going?” Desman couldn’t remember any of this, but figured he should play along until he figured out what was happening. “Back to base sargent.” The speaker then looked up with his one uneyepatched eye, before adding. “And there it is now.” Desman lifted his head up a bit to see the old abandoned run-down shack they were entering, the only thing healthy about it were the small amounts of robots and red headed males that were inside. “Sorry about the accommodations sir, this is the best we could do with Dark Amour terrorizing the place.” Suddenly a rumble could be heard from outside the newly entered building, one of the people at the window frantically screaming ‘He’s here, He’s here.’ The woman reached down towards the ground to pick up a baseball bat so that Desman didn’t see it until she mouthed the words ‘I’m sorry.’ and hit him in the head with it. |
