The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Cirno - 06-07-2017 As Cirno was selling some water flavored shaved ice. She wondered where everyone was. “Get your shaved ice here!” she sighed as she looked at the empty ice container. She picked it up and went to the nearby lake to fill it up. Her grin widened as she saw a frog just minding its own business. She dropped to her feat as she put the container down. “HELLO MISTER FROG! CAN I FREEZE YOU!” she waited for a couple seconds before going to freeze the frog. It abruptly shattered into a million pieces causing her to frown slightly. She heard a single deep croak followed by another and then another. She frowned as she had heard the sound before, she just couldn’t place her finger on who or where. She then heard a thump on the ground and turn around slowly to her fear the fucking giant frog was back. “AH no i’m sorry! It was an accident! I was just filling up my ice container and got distracted by the frog.” She saw Suwako Moriya walk forwards with an angry glare. Cirno started to cry as she didn’t want to be eaten again. Suwako snapped her fingers and that was when everything turned black, and incredibly quiet. As the ice fairy slowly opened her eyes she saw everything she once knew was gone. It was darker than the darkest depths of the world and warm also. She flew slightly off the bottom of this void? As a person? Thing came into being. Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.” Cirno looked at him with tears in her eyes as she wanted to scream. “I don’t need your help i’m the strongest fairy!” Omni held up his hand as he finally got her to shut up. He tossed her a rainbow orb that she caught. It was spherical about a foot in size and seemed to catch Cirno’s eye at just the right time. “So pretty.” Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most. “What i desire more than anything in this world is a friend. Someone who i can be with through thick and thin.” she said that from the deepest darkest part of her heart. Omni said a few more words to compliment his spiel. Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. She sighed in relief as there would be others like her. “There will be . . . others . . . ones who think they're the strongest?” She grew slightly angry at this. She was the strongest fairy and the strongest around. You don’t fuck with Cirno if she’s mad. Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.” She woke with a start and got up. “Owww. where am i?” she looked around and saw a sleeping Clownpiece next to where she was. Clownpiece what was she doing here? Wasn’t she busy helping out people in hell? She shrugged as she looked at the fountain. She walked up to it and touched it with her bare foot causing it to freeze completely around one area. While she waited for Clownpiece to wake up she tested out her ability’s and looked at the surrounding area. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Clownpiece - 06-07-2017 Quote:I’ll be watching … and waiting.” Omni spoke those last, parting words, closing his mouth into a cheeky grin, and his pure white form dissolved into the black background behind. Clownpiece watched soundlessly as he faded away, unable to move so much as a muscle in this black abyss. Slowly, sensations began to crawl back into her body, feelings of actual air and gravity, and at once the black veil pulled away from her eyes, revealing nothing but stark white. “Uh... what?” The hell fairy said after a moment, making no effort to move from the spot she’d been laying. Until just a few moments ago, she’d been minding her own business, taking a nice midday nap on the roof of the shrine, and now, apparently because that strange, white thing found her interesting, it abducted her to some strange white void. “Well, what the hell is interesting about a nap?” she mumbled to herself, rubbing her head as she sat up. “Finally you’re awake!” An enthusiastic voice practically shouted into the fairy’s ear. With an undignified squeak, Clownpiece flinched to the side, frantically swinging her right hand towards the voice. There was no resistance to her wild swing, and she instantly realized she didn’t have her torch in her hand. “Jeeze, took you long enough,” the voice said again, and Clownpiece turned to face her. “Wait a second...” she held up a finger, needing a moment to get adjusted to the world, and stared intensely at the owner of that all too haughty voice. Clad in blue, the ice fairy stood tall, hands on her hips and chest puffed out, and of course, she still radiated her uncomfortably cold aura. "Hi, Cirno." “Hi!" she greeted back. "I was beginning to think that I'd have to wake you up myself." Clownpiece simply hummed an agreement, internally shuddering at what a frigid wake-up that would have been as she pushed herself up off the ground and dusted off her back. She slowly turned, casting her gaze all around the two of them. There was only a blank white as far as the eye could see, save for a fountain right next to them, and her torch, glowing with its purple light, right where she’d been laying. Quickly, she leaned over to grab it, and straightened back up, brushing her hair out of her face. This was definitely an odd space. Never before had she seen something as blank as this, neither in hell, nor in her brief life on earth. It wasn’t like she had much time to explore Gensokyo, however, so she wondered if it could actually be something from there. She turned to regard Cirno again. “I've never seen anything like this in hell. You know what this is?" RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Cirno - 06-08-2017 As Cirno thought about it, she shook her shoulders in absolute confusion. "i'm as confused to where we are as you are my friend. I think I heard there was a icy world that is called Antarctica though its cold apparently, my kind of place, there is also a canvas that is this kind of white." Cirno was grinning all too wide as Clownpiece could not believe there was a ice area just made of ice. Then a couple of people in white armor surrounded the two fairy's. "Sir we have two new primes. One is radiating a cold aura . . . and the other is freaking me out." He looked at his companion who also nodded at his words to the approval of Clownpiece. Cirno decided to break the ice and not be so cold to the new comers. She said in a all important voice with her fists on her hips and her chest puffed out. "Hello my name is Cirno . . ." she forced herself to not say she was the strongest. "I and my friend over here were wondering where we are right now." Clownpiece huffed as she talked "Clownpiece is my name." god damn fairy thinking she was the strongest. The stormtrooper sighed before deadpanning. "You are in the Nexus. Didn't the big man in the sky give you information? Sigh there are " Clownpiece huffed as she crossed her hands. Holding her torch in hand. The two fairy's took off to the disapproval of the two stormtroopers. Though one managed to grab ahold of Cirno's ankle. Cirno gasped in surprise as she turned her torso around and after a couple seconds she dropped a ice bomb at the feet of the stormtrooper's . Cirno giggled as she waved bye to the plastic men. A audible gasp is heard from the helmet of the soldier as both are given a slight taste of her ice ability's. The one holding her ankle let go as they went to move away. The hell fairy was nearby waiting for Cirno to catch up. Once the ice fairy did catch up the two took off in a random direction just to get away from the two idiots. "What a bunch of idiots, am I right Cirno?" Cirno just nodded weakly as she was acting extremely shy. After a few minutes of flying she started to tap her index fingers as she shyly asked clownpiece. "D-do you think i'm a good friend?" She looked at clownpiece with a need to know. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Clownpiece - 06-08-2017 Where’d that come from? Clownpiece wondered, crossing her arms and tilting her head slightly to the side as she stared deep into the ice fairy's eyes. The pair of them hung there silently for a few moments, floating high above the blank Nexus ground. Neither of them had seen anything like this before, it was new territory, and from what she'd seen of earth, it was pretty tame. Perhaps she wasn't used to odd occurrences. It was understandable that someone would want to keep friends close when in dire straits. “Of course!” the hell fairy cheerfully exclaimed. “You’re pretty fun to be around!” Her assurance seemed to do the trick, in a moment her icy friend had brightened back up, her mouth turning up into a confident grin. The usual cold aura she gave off seemed to grow even stronger, and Clownpiece floated a short distance backwards, trying to keep within the comfortable zone. She smiled, rubbing her arms. If this kept up, she would have to consider wearing her winter outfit all the time. “You're right!” Cirno said with a boisterous laugh, confidently crossing her arms across her chest. "I'm the funnest fairy!” She paused for a moment, blue eyes seeming to search over her, before she turned away, lifting her head upwards. "Though you're also pretty fun. Stick with me, and we'll be unstoppable!" “With my madness,” Clownpiece began, friendly smile shifting into an arrogant smirk, "and your ice..." Uncrossing her arms, she swept her torch out in front, and up high above her head in one, dramatic, motion. "No one can stand in our way! Not even that guy that dragged us here!” “Yeah! Let’s go!” Giving one last hurrah, Cirno sped off, leaving Clownpiece in the proverbial dust. “Wait up!” She called out, lowering her torch as she launched herself forward, desperately trying to keep up with the fired-up ice fairy. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Tamsin Suzaku - 06-09-2017 It should have been the end. Her life had already been over. Having fallen prey to a terrible curse, the young girl's health deteriorated rapidly. With nothing else to give, the maid offered her master what remained of her decaying soul. He was reluctant to accept, reluctant to give up hope that she could make a normal recovery. But she assured him that he wasn't killing her, but saving her in the only manner they had left. By becoming one, she hoped that she could relieve him of the burden her condition had placed upon him. She hoped that he could make use of what little strength she had left and that she could continue to watch over him even in death. But it was not to be. Though her memory of the incident was foggy, she could recall that her master was ambushed. The girl could do nothing but watch as the proud Namek was not merely killed, but eradicated from existence entirely. All her efforts, all her sacrifices — they had been for naught as her master succumbed to a terrible fate. Left with nothing but utter despair, the servant awaited for her own meager existence to be extinguished as well. But for her, the end did not come. At the pivotal moment, she felt a sensation she had not experienced in a long time — the familiar pull of dimensional travel, though, the void she eventually found herself in was anything but. Distraught and confused, the maid looked around the inky blackness surrounding her. It was only after this action that another feeling began to set in. It was warm and comfortable, like the experience of putting on familiar clothes. She instinctively knew what it was, but was so shocked that she had to look down to make certain. Sure enough, she saw her own two hands. Somehow, she was in her own body once more. She had barely had the time to overcome the dissonance of being able to move by her own power when a grinning white figure suddenly appeared and introduced itself to her. Calling itself Omni, it proceeded to lay down some of the basics of her situation. But even the servant could tell that this speech was well-rehearsed, a familiar spiel that countless others had no doubt heard before her. Though it provided some of the answers she sought, it barely touched upon her most pressing question — why? Why was she alive? Why, when she had failed so utterly in her duty, did she draw breath once more? But whether out of ignorance, malice or some other mysterious reason, the elusive entity did not elaborate beyond that. Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.” With only that vague promise of further knowledge, Omni disappeared without a trace. "Wait, please!" Tamsin finally managed to call out as the force suppressing her voice subsided. But the only response her plea received was silence. The hollow expanse surrounding her disappeared just as rapidly as it had appeared, giving way to a scenery of pure white. Finding herself standing near a fountain, the young woman was sad and lost. Lost, but not alone. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - All Might - 06-10-2017 He had been standing in the ruins of the laboratory, his greatest enemy lying prone and bleeding on the ground. Technically, the day has been a success. Young Bakugou was rescued- by his students, Izuku among them no less. All For One- who had been his nightmare since before he had even become a superhero, was lying unconscious at his feet, the shape of his fist marked on the villain's head. But he could feel it going. The power he had been left by Nana, the power he had used to be the Symbol of Peace. The power he had bequeated most of- leaving only a few embers for himself -to Izuku, was gone. His embers were spent. All Might was gone, now. Only Yagi remained. He let out a long breath, before everything went black. Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.” What was going on? Where was he- why couldn't he feel his body? Did he die? Did his life force vanish with the last embers of One For All? Quote: “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most." What the hell? Omnilium, Omniverse, none of this made sense! Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.” Damn it! That's not an explanation! Why couldn't he speak? Why couldn't he move?! Why couldn't- He opened his eyes, and the very first thing he noticed was that he wasn't in pain. His hand moved toward his side- where the everpresent scar had been, when he noticed the second thing. He wasn't Yagi- or rather, he wasn't in his emaciated form. He was in his muscle form... but it didn't feel like he was straining to hold it. It felt natural, like it did years ago, before he got his injury, before the surgeries. Had he gone back in time? Had Omni healed him? The third thing he noticed was that everything, absolutely everything around him was white. A stark, everlasting white. The ground, the sky, the horizon. Empty. The fourth thing he noticed, was that someone needed help. "What happened?" he got to his feet, pleasantly surprised that there was no aches or pains involved in the simple movement. In front of him, a young woman with white hair stared back at him, looking just as confused as he felt. She probably wouldn't have much information, he decided. But considering there were two obviously injured men lying on the ground injured and partially frozen, his priorities would have to lie elsewhere. Helping those in need came first, satisfying his curiosity a distant second. "Don't be afraid!" All Might said, as he came to a kneel next to one of the two armored victims of some sort of... freezing explosive, if he had to guess. A quirk of some kind, he supposed. He had seen stranger, "For I am here! Tell me, can you hear me? Are you able to move?" "I... can't feel my legs..." the stormtrooper muttered. "Don't worry, you're doing fine." All Might said, as he began peeling away armor, getting a better look at the injury on the first trooper... this was serious. He quickly did the same for the second, and though his smile didn't disappear, he didn't feel too confident in their chances, "Tell me, where's the closest hospital?" he asked loudly, in general, to both the two stormtroopers, as well as the girl by the fountain. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Tamsin Suzaku - 06-10-2017 Upon appearing at the fountain, Tamsin was met with a gruesome scene. Two guards, wearing unusual gear that she had never seen before, were lying on the ground. Their armour was littered with countless punctures and cuts, blood pouring profusely from the openings. Tamsin was still reeling from her revival and summoning, which made her slow to respond. It was only thanks to the intervention of the blonde man nearby — presumably another Prime — that the two received the immediate attention they needed. With a multitude of things running through her mind, the maid finally decided to focus on the more pressing situation at hand: the two wounded individuals. Her own predicament would have to wait. 'U-um...l-let me help!' she finally managed to utter and joined the costumed hero in aiding the guards. Once their armour had been stripped off, Tamsin proceeded to use triage, prioritising the guard who could not feel his legs. Upon hearing the inquiry from the mysterious man — who, oddly, never lost his winning smile — the servant looked around. But from their current position, it was evident that there was no medical facility, or much of anything, to be found for miles. 'U-unfortunately, we don't have time. We'll have to treat them immediately or they might not survive long enough to receive more professional help.' Tamsin took off her apron and used it to apply pressure to some of the more egregious wounds. She lamented: 'If only I had a first aid kit I could use...' 'W-what the hell are you saying?' the less wounded of the two responded. 'You...you're a Prime, right? Just summon one. D-didn't Omni tell you that you can do that?' 'S-summon it?' the silver-haired girl responded in confusion. She did recall Omni saying that they could summon anything they desired, though just how broad 'anything' was remained a mystery to her. 'Allow me, noble citizen! You tend to them as best as you can! I will procure us the medical supplies that we need!' the superhero exclaimed confidently. Still confused as to how he was going to do that, the maid nevertheless nodded and tended to her patients while letting the muscular man take care of the summoning. The process took a few minutes. Though she said nothing, Tamsin wasn't entirely certain that the caped crusader himself really knew how it worked either, as he appeared to be somewhat lost himself. But after a bit of a struggle, he managed to produce a gathering of the rainbow substance called omnilium, which began to take shape of the desired item. The servant was almost mesmerised by the phenomenon. Even though she herself came from a world of super-powered individuals, capable of extraordinary feats, being able to summon items practically out of thin air still came off as nothing short of wondrous. She found the idea that she could do the same entirely alien and difficult to internalise. However, the moaning and groaning of the bleeding guards drew her attention to more important matters. However he may have achieved it, the young woman was still immensely grateful when the costumed man handed her a medical kit she could employ. The apron she was using was entirely drenched in blood. Cleaning the wounds with the water from the fountain — which had, oddly enough, turned into a sōzu with an audible thump — Tamsin proceeded to apply medical dressing and bandages. It took some effort, but together with the superhero's assistance, they managed to patch up the two men. Wiping the sweat off her brow, the girl with the navy blue eyes sighed as she turned to her would-be assistant: 'They will still need more extensive treatment, but this should at least keep their bleeding in check until help arrives. Do you have any way of contacting help?' The caped crusader was about to respond, but the less wounded individual cut him off: 'Th-that's fine. We'll call in some backup. They'll help us get back to Coruscant. Thanks for your assistance.' With a pained expression, the man put his helmet back on. Contacting HQ, he informed them of their situation and requested reinforcements. Once he received confirmation, he uttered a painful groan: 'Ugh...we're lucky you two turned out to be among the nicer Primes. I swear...I mean, I know I grabbed that fairy by the ankle to get her to stop, but this reaction was overboard...Must be another one of those junked up psychos that love to sign up for DA...' He sighed: 'We don't get paid enough to deal with this crap...' 'I-I see. You really should-' the maid began to speak before his words fully registered in her mind. She gasped in surprise. DA? It couldn't be what she thought it was, could it? Reluctantly, she asked: 'D-DA?' Turning to look at the maiden, the guard explained: 'Oh, I mean Dante's Abyss. It's this huge yearly fighting competition that brings out all the nutcases of the Omniverse. It's a really big deal that's broadcasted everywhere. In fact, there are sign ups going for it right now in all the major verses.' The girl was horror-stricken. Dante's Abyss....a chill went down her spine upon the mere mention of it. It seemed like it had been an eternity since she last heard of the event. But not only was she well acquainted with what it was, she was even a participant in her own universe. The harrowing experience it inflicted upon her was something that had stuck with her for the rest of her days. The thought that it was being hosted even in this unfamiliar place... It was at that moment that she came upon a startling realisation. Omni said that there were others here, others who sought omnilium as well. If Dante's Abyss, a relic of her own universe, was present, then that meant that there were others from her universe in this place. If so, then perhaps... Almost without thinking, the maid jumped to her feet. 'T-the fairy! Where did she go?!' In truth, Tamsin was reluctant to pursue someone she now knew to be dangerous, particularly as she was no stranger to poor experiences with ice users. But she also knew that she was completely lost in this place and needed help gathering her bearings. If they were interested in signing up, maybe they could help her locate one of the sign-up stations. It was a long shot, but in her desperation, she was willing to take it. She needed to know... 'Eh?...You're not thinking of going after her, are you? I mean, she went that way, but...' the guard responded, pointing in one of the directions with some hesitation as he was propping up his comrade next to the fountain. Looking carefully, Suzaku was indeed able to make out an object in the far distance. And although it was difficult to tell, she thought she could see two small figures floating towards it. She was about to break into a dash when she remembered her manners. Turning to the three, she bowed to them. 'T-thank you all for your assistance. I wish you a speedy recovery. And thank you for the help, mister...' she said as she turned to the costumed man, but realised she never learned his name. 'I am All-Might, the enduring Symbol of Peace! And there is no need to thank me, young lady! It was through our combined efforts that we saved these men's lives!' he responded, his shinning grin never leaving his visage. Nodding, the maid did a curtsy in response: 'A-An honour to meet you, sir. I am Tamsin Suzaku of the Servus guild. I-if you don't mind, please watch over them until help arrives. I-I would do so myself, but...there is something I must find out.' And although she had heard warning calls from behind her, the girl sprinted ahead, trying to catch up to the unpredictable fairies. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - All Might - 06-10-2017 Creating something out of Omnilium- it was startling. He knew, once he began to actually try, that he could do it, but all the same... just wanting something to be there, and then it suddenly was? One of his students had the same power, though she admittedly was far more experienced with it. He watched the young woman, Tamsin as she headed off at a run. Something to do, huh? He looked at the two wounded soldiers. "All right! Now that we're out of immediate danger, how soon will your backup be here?" "It should only be a half hour, at most." one of the storm troopers managed, gesturing toward the distance. All Might noticed for the first time the pinpricks on the horizon. "What's that?" the superhero asks. "It's a gate, to Coruscant, in particular." "...Coruscant?" "Yeah." "From Star Wars?" he asked, looking at the two of them. "Omni- I guess he really doesn't explain much, huh?" one says. The other sighs, "Yeah, apparently, Omni drags people from different universes who he finds 'interesting'. And in some universes, people might recognize people from a different universe as fictional." "So, the two of you are actual Stormtroopers?" All Might asked, raising an eyebrow, his smile not disappearing. This world was far more crazy than he thought, "Amazing!" "I bet somewhere in the Omniverse there'd be someone who recognizes you from a story." All Might looked back toward the gate, and saw a speck appear from within the gate, "If neither of you object to me carrying you, I'm sure we can get there in far less than a half hour!" "Are you sure it's all right to move us?" one of them asked. "I'm a trained professional! I've personally carried hundreds of grievously injured fellows out of harms way before. But if you want to wait for them to get here, I won't contest it." "How fast can you move?" All Might's grin somehow grew even wider. "HOLY SHIT" one of the two troopers screamed as they dashed across the white emptiness. He managed to cut the half-hour wait time down to only about ten minutes. All Might, however, wasn't nearly as impressed. When he had awoken in his prime- the state his body was in before the surgeries and before the injury, he had been hoping that everything would return... but this wasn't his top speed. Not even close, but try as he might, he could barely run faster than ninety miles per hour. He was carrying two men at the moment, so he couldn't exactly test anything else out, but it didn't bode well. Even with only the barest embers of One For All, he could move faster. The vehicle, a white hovering machine marked on the side with the sign of the Empire from Star Wars, had been approaching as well. He began to slow down, and managed to come to a gentle stop a few yards ahead of the vehicle. Two more storm troopers exited the vehicle, and All Might delivered the two victims of the ice attack to their comrades. He briefly took in the sight of the sci-fi medical lab inside, when one of the troopers walked up to him. "I'd just like to personally thank you for saving these two's lives." "Think nothing of it!" he said. "Now, the Empire has a policy of trying to recruit every new Prime we can. Your skills would be put to good use, and we offer excellent compensation." "The... Empire. As in ruled by Darth Vader? Darth Sidious?" "Emperor Palpatine." the stormtrooper corrected. All Might crossed his arms, "I don't think I agree with his politics, but thank you for the offer!" if this really was the Palpatine from Star Wars, then Coruscant was in a dangerous place. But then again, it was clear to him that the troopers weren't all bad. They were giving him a choice, after all, instead of trying to threaten him. It might not be for the best to go on a campaign against a planet-sized city, not if Palpatine wasn't threatening people at the moment. "At least come to Coruscant." the stormtrooper continued, "have a look around before heading to any of the other Verses. I can guarantee you, Coruscant is the height of any civilization in the Omniverse." "There's no harm in looking, I suppose!" unless they planned to ambush him as he stepped inside, "Lead the way, I'd like to see these two off to a proper hospital myself, if I can." The vehicle disappeared into the gate, a grand archway of technological artistry. All Might was left alone in the vast emptiness of the Nexus. He wasn't sure what he was doing here, or why his body was how it is. He didn't understand the process through which he had created the medical pack that saved two clone's lives, or why Star Wars was suddenly real. He was also sure he heard the word 'fairy' mentioned once. The last half hour had been possibly the craziest in his life, or rather the second-craziest. The first craziest was the moment the most powerful woman on Earth told a quirkless teenager that he could become a Hero to surpass even her. Content with the knowledge that, even if he had been pulled from his home through the whim of a god, he had left behind someone like him- a teenager without a quirk whose drive to become a true hero was even greater than his own. His role as the Symbol of Peace was already winding to a close in his homeworld... but this place, where a known villain rules the greatest hub of civilization in the omniverse? This place, he decided, needed a hero. He stepped through the gate. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Clownpiece - 06-11-2017 “What...” Clownpiece began, staring incredulously at the scene before her while she leaned against her all too chilly friend, “is this?” The two fairies, winded from their long flight, no longer floated above the blank ground, instead supporting each other as they stood. Each of them breathed long, labored breaths, and though Cirno was still uncomfortably cold to the touch, the hell fairy put up with it, preferring it to falling over and not having the energy to get back up. Towering over them was an archway that stood way out from the rest of the world. Vines, leaves, and bark all twisted upwards, forming a structure at least thrice as tall as either of them. Though the pillars of the arch stood well out from the nexus, the inside of it was just as blank. “A fairy’s house?” Cirno suggested, to which Clownpiece responded with a curious hum. Wherever fairies lived, nature tended to run wild, a lesson that the star-spangled girl learned from Sunny Milk and company. If one was indeed living here in the Nexus, then that tremendous growth wouldn’t be that far-fetched. But if that was the case, why did it look so odd? “We should check it out!” The hell fairy said, standing up straighter, energy already starting to seep back into her. “You first, of course,” she added with a cheeky grin, turning towards her friend. “No way!” Cirno responded, hopping back indignantly. “You go first! You have a torch!” “I am but a simple fairy, O strongest one,” Clownpiece responded, speaking dramatically like a stage actor. “The strong should lead, right?” “You’re right!” she exclaimed, taking a step back in shock, before regaining her composure. Closing her eyes, she crossed her arms and nodded. “You’re lucky to have someone as strong as me to lead the way. Alright, follow me.” With her previous hesitation gone, the ice fairy took a step forward, towards the archway, and Clownpiece giggled cruelly. “H-Hold up!” Before either of them could step through the gate, an unfamiliar, stuttering voice called out from behind them. With a questioning noise, both fairies stopped in their tracks, turning around to face the newcomer. Running to catch up with them was a woman with silver hair braided in the front, clad in a blue and white maid outfit. “S-Sakuya?” Cirno stammered, taking on a defensive stance as she stepped back. “Who’s Sakuya?” The hell fairy asked, looking thoroughly unconcerned as she turned her head to face her friend. “Excuse me,” the maid said before Cirno could answer, coming to a stop just a few feet away from the duo. “My name is Tamsin Suzaku, of the Servus Guild. W-would you two be willing to answer a few questions of mine?” The moment she spoke her name, the ice fairy’s defensive posture fell, and her confidence was restored again. “Of course!” she responded, putting her hands on her hips. “My name is Cirno! I’m the strongest fairy!” “And I am Clownpiece,” the blonde girl introduced herself, lifting her torch up high. “A fairy from hell!” “Oh, is that so?” Tamsin said, a polite smile on her face. “I was wondering, would you two happen to be on your way to Dante’s Abyss?” “Dante’s Abyss?” Cirno asked, a hint of confusion to her voice. “What’s that?” Clownpiece followed up, lowering the torch to her side again. “O-oh, I was hoping you’d know about it,” though her expression stayed stoic, her voice felt crestfallen. “I guess you could say it’s a type of fighting competition.” “Woah...” The two fairies gasped simultaneously, eyes aglow. A menacing smile spread across Clownpiece’s face. This “Dante’s Abyss” would surely be a great way to prove that she was the strongest. RE: The fairy crew joins the omniverse - Little Ghost - 06-12-2017 In the dust left behind by two foreign fairies flagrantly freezing free fighters for no reasons but their own, flying from flippant murder to frivolous adventure, lay two human popsicles. The twin stormtroopers, partially covered by ice, gleamed in the omnipresent white glow of the Nexus, shimmering with cold and partially obscure by fog as their temperature interacted with the moisture in the air. Inside the tombs of currently non-functional powered armor, a barely functional comm signal was broadcasting to all listening imperials. The sheer cold had interrupted and then corrupted the audio-video packet of these brave men's last moments. Imperial Communication Centre, Central Army Command, Coruscant "Emperor DAMNIT!!!" the exclamation was exclaimed with a heavy punch to the command console, making the hologram flicker briefly before contact was properly established again. Not that it was much use, the feed available to those in the ICC's Omniversal Positioning Room (and yes, that's abbreviated as OPR) was flickering in and out as it was. Usual procedure when encountering primes was to immediately enable your helmet cam. But there was a back-up enabler for those times when this wasn't feasible, like a prime being immediately hostile, or the stormtrooper in question being too distracted by or focused on something else. That first back-up was triggered by a spike in the Stormtrooper's epinephrine levels. This had allowed the ICC to watch as the two soldiers had focused on a jagged sphere of ice bouncing along the ground at each of their feet before the feed flickered just as their helmets where returning to normal angle. And now the feed was bouncing like it was a one man Carnival. "Smythe, we need those damn feeds sorted out yesterday," the commanding officer growled to the tech sitting at his right. Smythe was visibly sweating as his hand flew over the haptic interface, this was his career on the line, and with Dredd somewhere in the building it could very well be his life! Smythe, however, was nothing if not skilled. Twenty seconds of furious input finally cleared the feed enough to- "Sir, what is that?" Little Ghost's attention was drawn to the commotion just around the bend even before he saw it. The sound of someone shouting? And then that beautiful glow of transmuting Omnillium. Little Ghost quickened his steps, careful to not let the absolutely smooth ground make him slip but still urgent, to make a small click-click-click-like sound of carapace on a hard surface. He slowed before coming around the bend, creeping slowly, and the first thing he noticed was... a pair of yellow antenna? No, not antenna, something else? They sat atop the strangest creature he had ever seen, one that looked to be soft on the outside, almost like a Grub, but shaped like a fully grown bug? Little Ghost remembered Elite Sentries with less width around their thorax! And there, on the ground, what a strange bug. Little Ghost peered closer and... yep, it was wearing face-bone all over its body. Was it a giant face then? But it looked like it had two arms, two legs and something resembling a head? How queer! Oh, the big one was peeling it off. Had he intruded upon some weird feeding time? That was... Nope, how about not letting himself be seen? Little Ghost took a few steps back as the other strange bug, the one with some weird white fuzz on its head and some sort of very detailed cloak joined in on the feeding. Though it was a very strange feeding, for as Little Ghost watched there were no screams of desperation, and they seemed to actually be repairing the carapaces of the silly white bugs? What kind of strange place was this? Waiting for longer proved the wise thing to do as the smaller bug with the elaborate cloak dashed away, to the shouts of the white bugs. Oh, then maybe this was a feeding after all? When the large bug grabbed the two white bugs and dashed off he understood, the large one was taking them to its lair, to feed at his leisure. But now the question was where to go. The purl of the fountain was the only sound with Little Ghost as the sole remainder. Hmm, the one with the elaborate cloak... maybe he could see where she got it from? He could at least try asking now that the large weird one was gone. And with that decided Little Ghost trudged along after Tamsin, following her rapidly disappearing form, still rather unknowing of how things worked in the Omniverse. |
