Werewolves Game Night? - Amaterasu - 05-04-2017
I've noted this in the chat before, but I thought I'd ask a broader audience by posting a thread: would anyone be interested in a game (or a few) of Werewolves, through Discord or Skype? The ideal time for this would likely be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evening as fewer of us will be working, but I'm sure we can find something that fits.
For those of you who don't know Werewolves, here's a brief description:
A group of players form the "village", with each player receiving a role that is kept secret from the others. Some of these players (usually ~2 per 10 players) are secretly werewolves. One player is the Game Master who controls the game flow and narrates.
At night, the werewolves decide on a villager to kill, and during the day the villagers debate on who could be a werewolf, and vote for one person to lynch. The goal of the werewolves is to kill all the villagers and the goal of the villagers is to find and kill the werewolves before they all die. It's a game of trickery and lies.
While the game is meant to be played as a board game, it could also function on Skype/Discord! The more players we could get, the better the game would be, so if you're interested please reply.

The mafia game is called Town of Salem, I believe. That one's on an online paltform, but I'm not sure if you can join as a party.

Town of Salem's just a take on mafia, mafia can be played forumlike same as werewolf et al. Werewolf, mafia, etc are all the same basic game with different themes.

Hmm, we could go for it next week then, if everyone is interested. Today might be a bit short on time and there's not enough people voicing their interest, and I dunno if I'll have time tomorrow.
Funfact by the way: I once played Werewolves with my family where the villagers were "Catalan patriots" and the werewolves were "evil spaniards who want to prevent Catalonia's independance". It gave the game quite an interesting tone :yay:

I'd be happy to start at any time of the day. The problem is that because of time differences I am 7-9 hours ahead of anyone who lives in America, which I believe is the most of you.
We could say sometime around 5PM my time (here's a reference: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cest ) which should be 12PM for those living on the East Coast would be a good time for most, for instance? We can also do earlier or later to fit everyone in.
