Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Lord Zedd - 03-27-2017

http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=7762

Since we have a large group that might get larger, I figured we could use our own OOC thread for coordination. Just got the kick-off post going, and hopefully I got everyone's characters right.

Fire away, everyone!

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 04-03-2017

I'm totally going to barge into your encounter, guys. Just so you know.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Jak Mar - 04-03-2017

So... our encounter is up guys.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Lord Zedd - 04-03-2017

Come on aboard, Dante!

I won't be able to post until about this time tomorrow, so anyone that feels like kicking us off, go right ahead.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - ElFailzalot - 04-05-2017

Reminder, due to time limits: T-minus 15 hours exactly to get your posts up, y'all crazy bunch. :frogpipe:

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Nebula - 04-06-2017

After some discussion with Zedd, he will have until I manage to get a post up for this thread tonight to make a post of his own without penalty. Until then, stay frosty, folks.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Desman Black - 04-12-2017

I vote we destroy the chip, if everyone else agrees then Des will smash it with his sword, if at least one person disagrees, des will attempt to before being interapted by that person, and then may or may not destroy it anyway

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 04-12-2017

If Dante ever touches the chip, he would most likely end up destroying it. You can assume he'll vote for that even if he doesn't.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Desman Black - 04-12-2017

Also, who, if any of your charaters, would try to cheer up des if he was having a bad time. If your wondering why I'm asking, It's si I don't play a character wtong.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Jak Mar - 04-12-2017

I vote to destroy the chip as well, Jak would try and calm des if he needs it.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Lord Zedd - 04-12-2017

Zedd's vote would be to keep it, but only to test its powers on one of the other party members first. He won't argue too much about being outvoted and moving on, just grumble a bit about wasting raw power, etc.

Also, Zedd isn't much of a soothing person, so not much good there, Des.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 04-12-2017

I suppose it depends on the kind of conflict you're having, Des. Is it about the killing things bit?

Dante would probably say something about that, seeing as he had his own conflict for a moment. Pretty much that it was death that couldn't be helped, considering the victims were likely corrupted beyond saving and made into something else entirely. A shame, yes, but with nothing else to be done about it for the time being.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Desman Black - 04-12-2017

He is already past that, I think, It's more just the whole nebula thing in general, plus a whole history of letting people die, plus the chip reactivating these memories, which is untimitly way he destroyed it with one very violete attack... typical hero stuff.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 04-23-2017

In case I don't end up the first one to get a post out, I wanted to share my idea of how we might approach this upcoming battle.

The idea is that the team all splits up and fans out, attacking the main force from all sides and forcing them to divide their attention. That way, we would only realistically need to fight about ten of them each, rather than the fifty strong all at once. Then we could team up at the end to wipe out the stragglers and unite against the commander.

In-character, this would probably be Zedd's plan, rather than Dante's own. Any thoughts?

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Lord Zedd - 04-23-2017

Sounds really good to me!

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 05-05-2017

New Dark Chip available. I assume our characters' dispositions on the chips hasn't changed, so we would be destroying it unless Zedd decides to intervene.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Lord Zedd - 05-07-2017

We had a discussion on Skype about it, and Zedd's going to hang onto it this time. Post is up with him doing so.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - ElFailzalot - 05-09-2017

Alright, friends. Time for things to get serious. Coming up next in your thread as you head through the portal you have not only your introduction to Nebula space but a cinematic event leading into a conflict with the Darkling Commander, and the last major line of defense before the Darkloid in charge, and liberation of Coruscant.

Send a PM to the Nebula account detailing any plans you have for such a thing. You may opt to approach the encounter Offensively or Defensively. If you wish to use any SP on power-ups or super attacks/defenses, include that. And Zedd, if you wish to use your dark chip, also mention that.

Almost there, folks. Best of luck.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - ElFailzalot - 05-13-2017

Just a reminder, folks: the current post is just the preamble to the actual encounter. I'm in the process of writing it up, as there's a fair bit to consider and work out. It will be up by tomorrow, though, at the latest.

RE: Dark Data - Coruscant Team - Simon - 05-13-2017

...I never sent my PM. God dammit.

Guess it's a little late to implement whatever strategy I had. Damn. Just kill me.
