Damage allocation for giant forms - King Ghidorah - 02-27-2017

Seeing as how its looking like I'm going to be fighting a never-ending tide of bounty-hunters, and seeing as how Ghidorah's build revolves mostly around colossal powered-up forms, I thought I should probably get this clarified.

How does damage allocation work for giant forms? Any wounds taken while giant are obviously much smaller, relatively speaking - what would have been a lethal blow to a seven-foot creature becomes a tiny cut when you're 115 feet tall. Does the opponent just have to try that much harder while you're huge? I'd assume so, but if someone could confirm (or correct my misapprehension) I'd really appreciate it.

Going by what it says in the 'Giant Body' section of the Assists and Transformations section:

Quote:Bear in mind that your speed and defense do not 'size' up automatically, so relatively speaking you will be moving much slower (since you're bigger) and if you have 0 defense you're still going to get blown up, especially since you're a much bigger target.

Though the wounds may be smaller in comparison to your body, the same amount of damage is taken. This makes sense since we don't ask for any extra OM to make you larger when you purchase an Alt form or a Power-Up (similarly, no one would buy a smaller form if it made them easier to kill). Instead what you get is a trade-off of increased range at the cost of being easier to hit. This could allow for instance what would normally be a crushing melee attack to now hit someone 20 feet away, but you're now way easier to hit with things like grenades and comparatively much slower. It's more of a give and take than an outright bonus.
