Nexus Questions - Serraph Quarrere - 02-16-2017

I have a question about the Nexus.  I find it a mysterious an interesting place in its own rights but my question has to do with the "feel" of the place.

My character will be doing a couple of things to try and understand what the place is. All he knows so far is that its the origin place for Primes coming into the Omniverse and the various portals are to seperate parts of it.

I assume the Nexus is a room of sorts with walls and a cieling. (am I wrong here?)

If so would it  be reasonable for my character to come to the conclusion that the feeling of the "ground, walls and cieling" here can vary to each prime just as the fountain can change shape? Like for example, Serraph might feel as if he is walking upon marble or sandstone where another might feel like he/she is walking upon something entirely.

The Nexus has neither walls nor ceiling - its actually tremendously huge - and other than the area immediately around the fountain it stays pretty static - though I've yet to see the actual texture of the ground mentioned anywhere, so I don't know what to tell you there.  You can find a detailed description of it here.

yeah. Read up on it prior just to make sure XD Didn't know it stretched out that far, I took the 25km thing just as that. Im kinda curious if there is a wall or a drop off there.

RE: Nexus Questions - Mark - 02-16-2017

I've split this off in case there are further Nexus questions anyone might want to ask.

The Nexus is not endless (although with everything being blank white it certainly looks that way); like Serraph mentioned it's described as 25 km across and "smaller than the other verses". As it hasn't been specifically stated otherwise, we can assume that it works the same as the other verses do. FAQ #14 mentions that when you hit the edge of a verse you hit a soft barrier. While you can describe your character interpreting that feeling as whatever he's familiar comparing it to, it wouldn't change by person. The only thing that changes is the Fountain.
