A Creeper in Coruscant - Cupa - 01-08-2017 After about a two our walk or so, I found myself standing in front of an archway, with a number of men wearing some kind of white armor on either side. They didn’t say anything when I approached them, and they made no motion to stop me from walking through the archway. Walking through, I felt dizzy for a slight moment, but it soon cleared as I walked out of the other side. I found myself in what appeared to be a giant futuristic city, and was quickly made subject to a screening process of some kind. Once the men in white had passed me through the screening process, I was given back all of my items, not that there were that many to begin with, and warned me to stay out of trouble during my visit. I told him I would, thanked him, and walked out into the city, which I was told was Coruscant. Coruscant was a gorgeous city, and was filled with things I had never seen before in my life. Pictures that moved on walls and talked, objects the size of horses flying through the sky, and people everywhere. There seemed to be a large amount of soldiers in white, who I learned were called stormtroopers. I found a taxi, and after being told I would have to pay for it, I asked to see what the currency was. He pulled out some, and within a few minutes, I had copied it using Omnillium. The man’s face was not a happy one, and instead appeared to be one of disgust, but he accepted the money anyway. As he flew around coruscant, I saw a large amount of parks and statues, all dedicated to someone that was only referred to as “The Emperor”. I did not know who this man was, and I got the feeling that I didn’t want to. The entire place seemed as though it was controlled with an Iron fist from someone, hence the heavy presence of guards, and the way nobody ever seem to have anything bad to say about the emperor. A few hours into my visit, I found myself near a rather large library. I decided to explore inside, and found a large amount of books, and some things that looked like a device that would connect to the internet, or some version of it at least. I tried to think how I knew that, as I had never seen the device or any like it before. I seem to remember someone telling me about it, but the memory was blurry and faded as if it had happened a lifetime ago. Regardless, I used it to figure out what was going on with me and where I was. I discovered that I was something called a “Prime”, meaning that I had been brought to here, the Omniverse, by the essential God of this place, the smiling figure that called himself Omni. I learned about the different verses, and the different factions in them, as well as how different factions felt about each other. I learned the history of the Omniverse, and what had happened in years before I had gotten here. I decided that I wanted to explore the world I had been brought to before settling down in a particular verse or with a particular faction. Looking through some information about Coruscant, I learned that it had seven tiers, with the tier I was on being the first tier. I decided to explore the different tiers a little since I was already here, before moving on to another verse to explore. Heading to an elevator, I rode down to tier three, to see what it was like further down. Not exactly what I had expected, yet not exactly unexpected either I have to say. Tier three was far grungier than Tier one, but it wasn't exactly bad either. It appeared as though the Empire still had a good amount of influence here, and that it actually cared a little about tier three. There was a far smaller police force out on the streets, but still enough that it reminded you were there, and that they wouldn't hesitate to take you down. Just out of curiosity, I summoned a block of TNT. I was amazed to see that it only took a second to summon, as everything I had read told me that summoning was a lengthy process, usually taking up to a few minutes to perform. I broke the block back down, not wanting to alert the police force that walked the streets to my ability to destroy. I wandered around the tier a little longer, looking at the beautiful city, before taking another elevator down a tier. I found myself on tier four, and was immediately met with a large amount of signs with glowing words, all trying to advertise for some product or another. These signs were a major source of light, as the sky was a pitch black color now, as opposed to the bright blue of the higher tiers. Just wandering through and overhearing conversations told me that this was not a place I wanted to stay in, nor did I want to go any further down the tiers. I took an elevator back up to tier one. Using a map that I had picked up at the beginning of my journey, I found the gate back to the Nexus, and left to go explore another verse. |
