A Robot and a Girl, (and Something Else Too) - Desman Black - 10-29-2016
Des exits the gate on the other side, a slight dizziness coming over him, nothing to bad, just not what somone really wants. Des just stands there for a moment, gaining his balance before noticing the tall stones, they look every similar to the gate, that's for sure, but he could tell they were slightly different, like identical twins.
'So what's our next action, follow the worn-out footprints to wherever they lead'
'What footpr...' Des looks down at the ground of soil, there was definintely frootprints there, lots of them, the ground itself also seem fairly warn out, probably a common route. 'This would have to lead somewhere, maybe to someone who could help, but there's also the change of being ambushed too.'
'Well the only other options are to wait here for someone to came, or go back into the white limbo we came from, snd no offence I don't really like it that much in there.'
'Well then I guess we will stay here, if no one comes in awhile we walk the path, I still feel slightly sick from the portal ride here.

As Des waited for someone to came near the gate, he thought about what the silhouette said in that dark void 'Think about what you desire most.' Well, what he desired most he didn't want to bring here, and even if he did, Des wouldn't know what condition they would be in, so he settled for the next best thing. Des concentrated on his hands, on what he wainted to appear in his hands, after a couple of minutes the object started forming, little specks of light moving themselfs into the shape that he thought of. Des looked at the photograph of two young boys, the photoframe was a nice shade of blue, a small chip in the upper-left hand corner, "Nexus..."

After waiting for several hours, and getting his head back on straight, Des finally decided to follow the trail, not that there was really that much else to do, he'd probably get lost otherwise. The day went as A.N.N.A and Des talked down the path unil it came to an interesting subject...
'Des, do you remember when we first met'
'Of course, it wasn't that long ago.
'Then, could you tell me about it, I'm... I'm having trouble remembering.
'Well, it happened a few years ago, I had Des began becoming depressed just lost my brother and with him gone, I had a hole in my heart...'
I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to...
'It's alright, you didn't mean to, and besides, you helped me get past that part of my life, even if you don't remember...'
