Monster Tinder - Amaterasu - 05-12-2017
In the same vein as our favorite god-mind's Digimon partnering Thread, I shall now attempt to match people to a monstergirl or monsterguy!
If you want me to partner you up let me know if you want a guy or gal to be your match (geddit? Cause tinder and match...) and if you have any hard "no"s regarding ranges of species, such as "no insectoids" or "nothing of the marine world". Other than that I will try my best to match you with someone that seems to fit your character. Note that this might not be someone with the same personality as you! It might be someone to "round you up" with an opposed personality.
Any extra information that you can provide is helpful! I will use your roster as my main source of information but if you want me to know something that is not listed there, write it into your "application".
Note that Sundoge Inc. does not provide refunds nor takes any responsibility for injury, trauma, death etc. that your match may accidentally subject you to.
And if you want to meet him/her IC, I guess you can always go to Ambrosia and look around there or something.
(Sidenote: If given the choice, chances are I'll go with a girl, because I draw my inspiration mainly from Monster Musume and MGE, which both have monstergirls only. Don't be surprised <_< )

Yuki-Onna!
Okay, this may sound like a cheap shot at first, but let's look a little deeper into this Youkai, shall we? Yuki-Onna are said to be the spirits of people who perished in a snowstorm. They are icy cold and freeze people who touch them, and seem to be able to control blizzards and snowstorms to some degree - while at the same time lacking such control. Emotional bursts can cause them to lose control of their powers, freezing everything around them, and they can't "warm" themselves up which makes them rather unsuited for warm-blooded individuals. It's not that they're innately evil though.
So, let's look at Kopaka: more metal than flesh, and ice and snow are his thing. Yuki-Onna would not be able to accidentally freeze him during a hug, drain his lifeforce or turn him into an ice statue by being near him, and if ever she lost control of her powers in a public environment, Kopaka would be right there to prevent the snow from harming people. Similarly, Yuki-Onna's great powers complement Kopaka's control over ice if ever they got into battle.
Kopaka is more of a solitary type, but Yuki-Onna just might be the one to melt his heart with her friendly emotional self once she warms up to him a little. I could see them meeting somewhere in the frigid mountains, Yuki-Onna believes that he will be yet another victim turning to ice as she comes remotely close to him. She is solitary not by choice but because her powers make her hostile to all life. And yet Kopaka is unfazed by her curse - quite the opposite, it strengthens him. They can hold hands without his fingers turning blue, they can hug without him stopping to move forever... well, the kissing part may get a little difficult, but is that really a big problem?

Tanuki! (I don't care what you guys think, that's a girl in the image)
Well, it might not be a match made in heaven. But Jaina is a bookworm and one of the, if not the strongest mage on her homeworld, so few men could hope to stand up to her. And with her tragic backstory regarding her romantic involvements she's probably bitter about the whole thing...
So who's better to cheer her up than Tanuki? An energetic and usually cheerful shapeshifter who changes their appearance for pranks - though still, she's a well-mannered one and won't take the joke too far. No doubt will Jaina need a little while to get used to Tanuki's antics and annoyances that keep her from studying spellcraft, she might even throw a spell or two when snapping - and will likely apologize soon after. Tanuki's probably not going to get her to stop reading, but Jaina might free up some time in her schedule to spend with her beloved, and in exchange Tanuki will agree to... maybe take on the form of some small, pettable animal and lay across her lap while she's reading a particularly interesting scroll, and stop badgering her at every occasion?
Jaina probably isn't comfortable with being a celebrity and known far and wide for her frosty powers. She needs someone who will see beyond that, who won't care that she can turn an ocean into ice and inundate an entire city with her magic. Tanuki doesn't care if you're a peasant or a king - or indeed, a mage. She will treat Jaina all the same. Maybe it'll get her to lighten up a bit, to enjoy life and to find the happiness that she lost. And Tanuki needs someone who won't be too annoyed at her pranks but knows when to tell her to stop. And of course, someone who will see beyond the furry prankster and realize that Tanuki pulls all those stunts on her because she likes them.

Gildarts is kind of a womanizer but he respects women and is a fun date. His ex-wife died, but she pmuch got tired of being left for him to go on missions all the time. He loved her thoughhhhh. (prefers women, for added irony, dragon -esque as that is what took his arm and leg)

Minotaur!
Why would this ginormous monstergirl be a good match for our Sith-Diablotrooper, you may ask? Well, Trixie hasn't exactly had an easy life and she will probably not enjoy someone that's airheaded, or much worse - someone who takes away what little control of her life she still has. She wants someone who can support her, who can be there for her when she needs them and who'll make her feel important - someone who is a little dependant on her, but not a clingy mess. That'll just be annoying. And it can't be someone fragile either that you have to touch with silk gloves. She's too energetic for that.
And that's why Minotaur (or Minos as some people say the female minotaurs are called) is the perfect fit for her. She'll be happy to stay at home most of the time, doing what's needed to keep things neat and tidy. As a hard worker she's probably going to do a lot in fact, while Trixie is out doing jobs for the Empire, Diablo or whoever else. That's not to say that she's a stereotypical stay-at-home wife! In fact, she'll probably rip the head off of anyone who says so to her face. She could use someone to help her, especially with the problem of milking, and Trixie's going to need a little dedication if she wants that relationship to work out. But really, is it so horrible to have to fondle your partner twice a day?
Minotaurs are also a very proud race - and Trixie's unlikely to take anything less. She wants someone worthy. And someone strong... though that's the least of her problems. Moreso she will have to be careful to not squish Trixie if ever they're hugging.
Besides that, Trixie's home might need some adjustments, especially her bed to fit someone this huge to lay next to her, and possibly relocation to greener pastures - literally. But the payoff in the form of a loving, friendly and loyal Minotaur is well worth it, isn't it?

Centaur!
Samus didn't have a lot to go on in terms of relationships, outside perhaps of the Metroid Infant. And that's more a mother/kid bond than a romantic one... so, let's look a little deeper. Samus is a Bounty hunter who, for being called that way, works very close with the Galactic Federation. She lets them analyze her technology and they support her in many ways. She fights the Space Pirates who are a threat to the Galaxy and she frequently endangers her own life to save survivors of disasters or to exterminate dangers such as the Metroids and the X Parasite. She is very much a "knight" sort of character, with a strong code of honor, morals and the will to do good. She may be a little "rough" like a soldier, and she respects strength and valor. Should she be matched to a scrawny nerd or a cute gal? No, I say.
Of course, Centaur would not exactly be on the same level as her regarding technology and such, but that's no unsurmountable obstacle - and really there's few monsters besides Space Pirates who are familiar with science-fiction technology, and it's doubtful that Samus would ever get friendly with a Space Pirate. However, there are few monsters who have codes of honor as strict and who are as proud as centaurs: you'd better write your testament before you try getting on the back of one. They're also not easy to get friendly with, but Samus will likely not approach a centaur with a flirtateous smile and her Zero suit on after all. They'll probably work together. And slowly get to know each other. And realize how much they have in common. And it'll evolve from mutual respect and a "bromance" into... well, more.
Furthermore, Centaurs are strong. They're warriors without equal, they are cavalry without the need for a horse, they are bowmen as feared as elves and their massive, long spears penetrate any opponent that gets too close... both kinds of spears ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Samus can respect that. And she needs someone strong with her, someone she can trust in, both in battle and in privacy. A Centaur would be a great fit.

Wight! (Undead)
Oh boy, Enel... someone with a god complex, the powers to control lightning and a machine to make that power strong enough to bombard an entire country? Not to mention, he's a rather volatile individual. Pairing him with a "smart wife" type of gal who is a little manipulative behind the scenes and whispers advice into his ear wouldn't work either, because of his mind-reading powers. He's not above using them on his partner, I'm sure.
So, the girl that stands up to Enel must be someone who can take his lightning without a problem! Wight, being an undead, doesn't have all those issues that living beings would have such as a brain being overloaded by lightning impulses or their body getting fried by energy. Well, Enel might not like that initially, being used to being almighty and whatnot. But once he warms up to her a little, that won't be as big a problem anymore. And boy, WILL he warm up to her, I don't doubt it... Wights are cunning, tricky and above all power-hungry undead, of great intellect and lewd as a bonus. She's not going to be contradicting him at every turn, telling him that his great plans are garbage. She's going to help him improve them, to dominate the world if it needs be, while at the same time keeping him grounded in reality. Without needing to worry about his lightning she can afford to be more honest to him than others, and once Enel realizes that that brain in her noggin is functioning very well for someone long dead he'll probably start listening. And Wight brings a lot to the table: she can turn others undead, which combined with Enel's lightning will create quite the army. Her dark powers complement his lightning techniques, and if against her advice he decides to go to the moon... well, she doesn't need air. But if they stay on Earth, be afraid, humankind. Be very afraid...
