[MEMORY LEAK DETECTED...] - Gin Yatreg - 09-17-2016 The spirit of a boy with red hair floats in the center of a black void. Asleep, he dreams of days gone by. Code: >MEMORY LEAK DETECTED...The boy squirms, and his eyes slowly open. "....Huh?" Gin says weakly, "Did someone say something? Where...where am I?"
Code: >REBOOT FAILED..."What... What's going on?" Gin tries to find the source of the voice and fails, unable to see through he dark void around him.
Code: >UNABLE TO PURGE UNAUTHORIZED CONNECTION"That voice... "
Code: >"Gin, my connection won't last long! Please respond!""So familiar..." he says as images flash through his mind.
A sunset.
A promise.
A tragedy...
"What are these memories...?" Gin mumbles.
His friends.
Someone unknown, yet familiar.
"I don't know them...do I?"
Code: >"Please Gin! This might be the last time I can make a connection! Let me know you're alright!""This voice...it belongs to that person..."
Code: >"Please Gin! It's @#%%^!""Lu...na..." Gin says, the memory finally becoming clear. A sudden pain develops in his heart, but he isn't sure why. He then yells at the top of his lungs, "LUNA, I HEAR YOU!"
Code: >"Gin! It finally got thro-^#@$%"
Quote:
RE: [MEMORY LEAK DETECTED...] - Gin Yatreg - 10-10-2016 The question kept repeating over and over in his head; "How the hell do the memories of exactly one person just vanish? I remember everything else perfectly. My friends, our time before the incident, our time in the Reclamation Squad, all of it. So why did I forget her? Why does everything fit so well without her being in there? And yet..." He grits his teeth and balls his hands into fists, "...The stuff I just remembered, it doesn't fit anywhere in there. They're blurry as hell, but I can tell they don't match up with what I know. Dammit I can't even place a face with her voice," he thinks. "JUST WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MY HEAD?!" Gin yells at the top of his lungs, before thrashing about in the void. Unexpectedly, one of his random punches makes contact with an invisible surface, snapping him back into reality. "What the?" He says in a bewildered tone. He tries placing a palm on the surface in front of him, and makes contact just like before. He moves his hand across the surface, it was smooth, but still had enough friction to pull on his skin. It felt somewhat like glass, maybe the type one would use for a window. He then had the sudden urge to break it into pieces. "Well, breaking stuff hasn't steered me wrong before. What the hell, it's not like I'm gonna get anywhere just by floating around all day." He says out loud before readying a shield fist. With a good punch, the glass shatters, and Gin falls through the hole into a white void. Quote: |
