Partially lost. - Erik Vrell - 10-31-2017
Erik burst from the portal, his horse apparently sharing his enthusiasm. As he adjusted to the comfortable temperature of the Nexus, he pondered what exactly he should be doing. He knew he had to fight something, but what? His boiling blood began to cool as rationality took over. Calmed down enough for regular thoughts, a deep feeling of loneliness began to set in. The psychic tried to ignore it as he rode onwards, but it gnawed at him, reminding him how isolated he really was. Everyone he had considered a friend had simply vanished.
Sighing, Erik considered finding someone to join him in his journeys. While considering this, Erik's thoughts drifted to his home before coming to the Omniverse. The mountains of his temple city, the comforting chill, surrounded by fellow mindbreakers. It was practically paradise. Erik snapped back to reality, realising how he could kill two birds with one stone. The frozen fields were renowned for being, well, frozen. Snow always made Erik feel right at home. In the fields, were the dwarves, which were well known for being good drinking partners. Why not move to the fields and make some friends in the process?
Satisfied with his decision, Erik turned his horse towards the frozen fields gate. The decision was not made without some sadness, however, as he couldn't help but think about New Babylon. He had been a member of the organisation for such little time that he didn't even get a chance to call Nippur his home. 'No point dwelling on it.' Erik thought to himself. New Babylon was gone, but Erik was still very much still here, and he would just have to continue his adventure alone.
