Character source: Okami
Character history: Amaterasu originally existed on the Celestial Plain, home of the Celestial Brush gods and the Celestials. She helped to keep the peace both in the Celestial Plain and in the mortal realm. She fought against evil entities such as Ninetails and Orochi. One day, however, Amaterasu heard a cry for help. Thinking it was from the mortal realm, she went to help the mortals. Unfortunately, Amaterasu never made it. Instead, she was spirited away and ended up in the Omniverse.

Starting Moves: Divine Instrument (300): Amaterasu uses the Divine Instrument floating above her back, which looks like a dark green disc with flames flowing around it, to attack her enemies. It is a quick, melee-based charge that can only be used at close range.
Writing example: Amaterasu yawned as she walked through the grove of cherry blossoms. Although she loved times of peace, she also had a fondness for adventure. And nothing was more adventurous than fighting demons. Amaterasu huffed and sat down to watch the petals of the cherry blossoms floating on the breeze. Suddenly, a flash of orange caught the white wolf's eye. It was a butterfly flitting amongst the pink blossoms. Amaterasu jumped up and chased after it, barking like an excited puppy.
