Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

Hey, so I have a question concerning secondary characters...

Could I make my secondary character part of my primary? (two characters stuck in one person).

I wouldn't be using this to have them talk or anything like that.

it would be more like:

Player A falls asleep.

Player B wakes up from sleep.

Player B falls asleep

Player A wakes up from sleep.

Like a Jekkyl and Hyde

Re: Secondary Character Question - Omni - 08-10-2014

You mean a secondary, like an NPC, or an alternate character? If NPC, yes, if alt, no.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

Alt.

And okay.

Only reason I asked is because I thought of this cool idea to make Deathstroke and Deadpool the same person.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Ganondorf - 08-10-2014

You could simply make an Alternate Form, and roleplay that as your alter ego. Though, while Deadpool has been inactive awhile, you'd need to wait til we find out if he's coming back before using that character.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

I was thinking of an idea where Deadpool pissed off Omni. And as a weird fucked up revenger, Omni merges Deadpool into Deathstroke.

I wouldn't have them interact with one another, not directly.

It would be a funny story. Because they can derail one another's journeys and such.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Smith - 08-10-2014

Omni's pretty notoriously hard to piss off. I mean, he didn't even intervene when Diablo decided to screw everyone. Of course, what your character believes is up to you.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

Well, Deadpool would make fun of him.

And I'm assuming Omni is like God, and he watches everything that happens. Sometimes for amusement.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Ganondorf - 08-10-2014

He is. And he does.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

Do alternate forms require their own techniques and such? I see it says that they get 10sp to distribute, but do they get their own 5000om as well?

Re: Secondary Character Question - Ganondorf - 08-10-2014

No. They'll use your own moves, or you can make (and buy) moves for them. So, you'll be spending twice as much OM as a normal character.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Deadpool - 08-10-2014

I'll find a way to make it work. Thanks.

And wight his I can bypass the fact that there's another Deadpool here, right? Since this is an alternate form and not a separate character?

Re: Secondary Character Question - Ganondorf - 08-10-2014

Yes, because in objective terms this would simply be Deathstroke having a split personality. With Omnilium, split personalities can become much more than in our world.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Omni - 08-10-2014

Ganondorf is wrong. You cannot merge two characters like Deadpool and Deathstroke. No idea where he got that idea and I'm sorry to get your hopes up.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Ganondorf - 08-10-2014

Didn't say he could merge them. Just said that, with an alternate form, he could simulate something to that effect. In essence, it's one character that simply believes it is two different people.

Re: Secondary Character Question - Monkey D. Luffy - 08-10-2014

Like how Cavendish becomes Hakuba when he falls asleep, slaughtering folks nearby and having no recollection of it. Plenty of characters have split personalities.
