One problem to another - Marcus Wright - 05-15-2016

There was a brief darkness for a while… the lights were turned off on him as he hung there… How shitty could these “Human Resistance people” be anyways?”

It took some con work by none other than Blair Williams to convince Lieutenant Barnes to go to see John Connor, not only did it work, how could the man seemingly ignore orders?

He was hanging there as Blair busted open the doors and shot him for good measure to gain a good impression. Marcus found himself suddenly let go down the silo as Blair climbed down the latter with him and both of them found themselves running for their lives again.

Then… darkness

Marcus Wright woke up more a confused, angry mess. The first words he said when he woke up in a all white area that made his eyes hurt more than anything as he tried to shade his eyes.

“Blair!”

He vowed to get Blair out of this mess for what she had done to save his ass. But how was that supposed to happen now?

Not to mention Kyle Reese and Star…

There was now this white face staring up at him just smiling.. Which was kind of creepy.

He found himself unable to speak as Omni started his spiel about the Omniverse.

A ball of omnium was handed to Marcus from Omni and the weird figure described that it was used to make anything he wanted come to life.

But.. what?

Marcus had so many questions on his mind that weren't getting answered and that was frustrating him. He eyed his surroundings once again after listening to Omni even more.

He hardly got the chance to think of what time it was.

Once the speech was done, Marcus took the long walk toward what looked like a fountain of some sort.

But after the two hour walk, the half cyborg half man was frustrated and left with none of his questions answered. But granted he did find out about Omnium which he could summon anything he wanted for a while.

The man sat on the fountain and focused on a small weapon from his world, a screwdriver.

He held it in his hands as his mouth was agape. This was literally.. impossible right?

Wrong..

He eyed the strange white armored soldiers walking near the portal yapping about something.

"Have you seen the Primes lately? They just can't make our job easy, can they"

"Why you complaining?

"I had to go after one at one point."

"You lived to tell the tail?

"Yes, i did"

The men turned and blinked, one looking through a pair of binoculars.

"Wait, you notice that new prime over there?

"He never was here before, right?"

Right..

While the two men discussed trivial matters, Marcus kept walking for a short while longer.

RE: One problem to another - Marcus Wright - 05-22-2016

The fluorescent light hurt Marcus’s marble blue eyes again, as the rather strong man tried to determine Omni’s ploy to bring him back here

But why did the physically appealing man feel a sense of dread? Dread was supposed to be that dagger that cut into his human heart when he laid on the freezing cold table that dreary night.

That dread that he had lost more than he had gained..

The pain of loss, betrayal and heartache that he wasn’t supposed to feel.

And yet..

He was controlling his body but it still felt like Skynet was a mere owner playing “puppeteer” over his own body. His lust to kill John Connor for trapping him up on a missile silo.. The Resistance ripping the one person who gave a shit about him..

Only he could realize that he was no longer a pawn of Skynet, only a pawn of himself. What was holding him back?

Like a thick devil on his shoulder, it would be like something too good to sound true for the ex-killer.

“Marcus..”

….

“What the hell are you trying to get across?”

“Come back to us…

“NO WAY… I’m not your toy!

I am here…

I’m everywhere, Marcus. You cannot hide from me.

Instead, a scream was heard from the human man who hurdled his voice throughout the Nexus, echoes that would chase him and force him to keep running from himself.

From Skynet.

RE: One problem to another - Marcus Wright - 05-22-2016

The echoes throughout the Nexus only left the white helmeted Stormtroopers to scratch their heads in distinct confusion wondering what the sound waves were running through their ears.

The smaller stormtrooper with brown hair and blue-green eyes eyed the taller one "I swear if I had another credit of OM every time a Prime screams, I'd be pretty rich, wouldn't I?"

The taller one took his helmet off and groaned at the smaller one, with a gruff voice "Are you sure we shouldn't go check out the situation?

The other one shook his head "Nah, it's probably some ramblings of a annoying Prime... That reminds me when is lunch again?"

He shook his head and shudders "Well if you want lunch, go ahead... I really don't feel like being killed today.."

"O...k.."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skynet was nothing but a mere delusion here..

Just a voice hiding in the back of Marcus's head..

He would be free..

He could be free..

He IS Free.

With a brief hand, he closed his eyes and grabbed the back of his head and ripped the fake skin off the back of his head finding the small chip Skynet had implemented years ago. He took the chip out of his head and eyed it in his hands..

and then squashed it under his feet.

OVER
and
OVER
And
Over..

The deed was done...
