Anti-Imperialist Resolve! The Quarterback of Chaos Awakens! - Jack Darby - 04-28-2016

The Nexus was a place where the Empire didn’t have total control.  The moment Warren was back in the place where he had been brought against his will by Omni.  His world would suffer because it didn’t have someone of his intellectual capability present to eventually rule it.  But right now he couldn’t concentrate on HIS world because this world was where he needed to put all of his thoughts.   As he surveyed the Nexus Warren held out his hand and summoned an item to iit.  The item in question was the sword that he had created out of Pure Omnilium in a similar way to how Omni and the other Primes had made such weapons or abilities of their own possible.  With this item he planned to cut a burning swath through his enemies and make all of them pay for tormenting him.  The Clone Troopers were going to be a problem that he needed to deal with at some point but he couldn’t,  at least not yet.  His strength was negligible and if  he was going to ever change that his skills would need to improve.   What he needed was something he could practice on.
Typically summons would take about three minutes usually or at least that is what would happen as a normal procedure.  However there were certain circumstances that would make this a different matter.  For one thing Warren was completely and utterly worn out after the long day he had in Coruscant cleaning up several vehicles that he assumed the Storm Troopers dirtied on person.  Of course one of the Troopers had also opted basically to beat him while he was down and could do nothing to protect himself.  All in all due to those factors summons for Warren were going to take longer than they would normally if he possessed the full amount of energy he should and were not sore from all the work,  plus the being kicked around.

To be honest Warren was not happy in the slightest. His levels of temper right now meant that any amount of physical training he would do on his own was both stupid and useless.  What he needed was someone he could beat within an inch of his life who wouldn’t care about the damage that Warren would do to him. In short he needed one of the Guardians of his world that he could turn into his very own and very personal punching bag as that would possibly better his mood.  Another idea dawned on him that would better his mood as well namely murdering the Clone Troopers that had done this to him.  But he couldn’t because his power levels and the ones they possessed were too distant.  Even for a Prime right now Warren was weak and said fact was going to need to change if he was going to survive on this world.  Skills  he once had were going to need to be relearned and abilities unlocked that he didn’t have.   In short he was going to be very busy very soon because he had a lot of lessons he needed to learn.  One of those lessons was going to include some method of learning how to use a sword in any case.   Holding out the palm of his hand Warren concentrated and channeled Omnilium the substance that Omni had said could do anything.  Well Warren was about to learn personally rather or not Omnilium could in fact do anything.  The Omnilium became an energy drink with a straw that had a portal on it so he could suck the liquid without taking off his helmet.   It was a good irritation that the helmet and suit were stuck on him but it had also been a saving grace.  It had prevented any of the clone troopers from discovering his identity outside of the armor suit.  Still at some point he was going unfortunately to have to take the costume off so that he could bathe and shave.

But for now he was going to focus on something else.  Coruscant was a world he didn’t intend on visiting again any time soon until he was strong enough to be more deadly to the Clones there and to any others who decided they wished to make nuisances of themselves or to meddle in his affairs.  What he needed to do was gather reinforcements so that he could hold his own should the situation call for it.  Once he had drained the energy drink dry Warren made the drink dematerialize.  So this is what Omnilium could do. It was truly an awesome but also a terrible power should someone misuse it’s capabilities.  Still he had to learn how he could utilize said capabilities in order to even the odds of this mess in his favor.    So far he was stranded somewhere perhaps so far from home that it might as well be another dimension or universe.  At present he had no lab and no place he could remotely even consider his home.   The warehouse on Coruscant would have been fine as a temporary base until the clone troopers had taken control of it.  They’d likely destroyed everything there meaning that he had a lot more he needed to do.   Honestly right now Warren missed some of the comforts he had possessed back home namely his lab and his armies of Blitz Bots.  Even Ricky Cervantes his former Mystery Guardian would be useful right now because he needed some power in his corner.  But none were possessed by him. Wait. Omnilium could make anything the individual desired.  So if it could do that,  why couldn’t it allow him to recreate a soldier he once had? But with some modifications he could ensure the soldier couldn’t betray him and would be loyal to his orders.  Yes.  The perfect solution to his problem and ne he was very glad he had actually thought of this very moment.   The how was the question.  Sure he had managed to summon a Plasma Katana and an energy drink for himself so far with the Omnilium’s power but he didn’t know the science behind it.  Was desire perhaps the key?  Did he merely have to desire something strongly enough and it would happen?  If that was the case Warren would desire a hench man he could command.  One that was strong but loyal.  One who wouldn’t ever betray him but possessed the power to be a threat to the Clone Troopers and others who should stand in his way.   The perfect soldier would also be one who didn’t question the orders it was given too much but was similar to the Mystery Guardian.  But the Mystery Guardian had been too weak of an individual. What he needed was something newer and something superior to what it actually had been.   Yet at the same time this warranted a question.  What did he need in a minion? Power? Loyalty? Brains.  All of them above would be useful.

Before he could even allow himself the luxury of creating a soldier for himself he needed to get away from any proximity to Coruscant.  There had to be somewhere he could hide because he didn’t want to perish by Clone Trooper Firing Squad the next time he did something wrong. The next time he was on Coruscant he was going to not do anything that could remotely draw attention to himself.  Inventing for now was out of the question because he lacked the power to protect himself should trouble show up.   R.Z. would never resort to assigning his son to do manual labor.  It was one of the ways that this world and the one Warren called home previously differed entirely.  Still there were chances for him to grow in both personality and power. Without the Guardians of his world around Warren would finally have the chance to shine on his own.  After all he was the Quarterback of Chaos.  And no one bullied the Quarterback of Chaos for very long and got away from it. Sure Coruscant may have been a minor setback but soon he’d be back in the Game and ready to take down the opposing team of the entire Empire and murder those clones.  Every last one of them was going to be completely eradicated for what they had done.  The assault on him aside they had smashed an invention that had taken the better part of a day for him to create.   But the assault on him and the cuffing him was also something that could not… would not be overlooked by Warren.   “The problem of the Clone Troopers almost makes me miss home. But I cannot afford to be sentimental. There is work that needs to be done and it is my duty to get the work done if I am to survive on this world.    Family… none are here for me and so I’m better off on my own.  Friends? What good would they do me other than slow me down right now?”

Warren then scowled as he headed towards the  Tangled Green.  There should be an area with little tech if the looks of the Gate were anything to go on.  The jungles there would probably make a place where he could conceal himself from the clone troopers and practice with his abilities in peace.  Plus there had to be somewhere he could convert into a base of operations for himself to call home.   “The Tangled Green may not be my first choice but it is devoid of clone troopers.  It will do as a temporary base of operations until such time as I am able to make somewhere rather permanent to call home.  Plus if not I could always build a base in another place right? Yeah.  Assuming I get enough Omnilium anything is possible within these worlds. But what could I do when I get there?  Where will I go?  How will I live?”   Worries weighed heavily upon Warren Zimmer but he would not concentrate on his problems presently… except for one of them.  His weakness was something he could not overlook.  Given that the clones had been able to EASILY defeat him Warren’s skill set needed to improve vastly.   “My weakness that I showed on Coruscant was something I can never allow myself to demonstrate again.  In order to facilitate my survival I must encourage my endurance,  strengthen my stamina and make myself mightier than I am. What I need is someone to push me… to train me. I need a coach of my own to work me back into a fighting shape.”   Most definitely he did need a mentor or a coach or at least someone with skills he didn’t possess. There were a lot of ‘Primes’  out there who possessed different and powerful abilities that he would learn.  All the abilities would be learned by him and he would master them all. The moment he did Coruscant was in for a nasty surprise of an angry Warren Zimmer paying it a visit and blasting every Clone Trooper into the embrace of Oblivion.   The Empire had no sympathy or loyalty because of what they had made Warren to do.  It was one thing to do menial labor when you were willing but quite another when you were left no alternative and forced into it.   Even more irritating was the fact one of the clone troopers had the gall to beat him up while he was working on cleaning. So yes,  Warren was not contented in the slightest with the way things were ran on Coruscant.   When he became powerful enough he’d locate any enemies Coruscant possessed and recruit them into his quest for revenge.   If the Darkness he had once been as the Quarterback of Chaos was the only way to achieve victory he would no longer run from his destiny.  He'd willingly embrace it and accept the power the shadows gave him so he could use it to smash through the defenses of his enemies and score a proverbial touchdown.

"If the Empire wishes me to become one of their enemies I shall oblige.  Since they desire a shining utopia I shall bring down the Chaos that only the Quarterback of Chaos can. When I am strong enough they will not know peace in the slightest."

Warren continued his trek towards the Tangled Green which had taken roughly four hours or twice as long as normal due to the levels of exhaustion he was feeling presently.  Once he arrived he went through the Gate almost immediately.
