Companion Question - Nepeta Leijon - 04-24-2016

So, my character is a dragon handler. She knows basic magic but mainly relies on her dragons for combat. How would this work? If it works at all?

RE: Companion Question - Minato Namikaze - 04-24-2016

It all really depends on how your dragons would be acting. But you should just check out the Assist Rules

What do you mean by how your dragons would be acting?

RE: Companion Question - Minato Namikaze - 04-24-2016

Basically this part of the assist Rules

Quote:Simple, weak Assists may be counted as Moves. They must be single-minded (for example, a zombie which just seeks out the nearest target to attack would be fine to purchase with a 300 OM move and the Homing Proficiency) or use the Remote Control proficiency and be manually controlled. True sentience requires the use of Assists.

Alright, I've decided a different route and decided something different. Would channeling a dragon's power as moves work?

RE: Companion Question - Minato Namikaze - 04-24-2016

What do you mean by channeling? As in, your character - themselves - uses the power of a dragon?

Not quite. She can utilize a dragon's magic, such as using as channeling a fire dragon's fire or an ice dragon's ice.

RE: Companion Question - Minato Namikaze - 04-24-2016

so it would be your character using the move?

Yes, I just plan to use elemental moves for the time being.

RE: Companion Question - Minato Namikaze - 04-24-2016

That's perfectly fine.

One more thing, I plan on having my character channel the power from an unhatched dragon egg. Would the egg count as a weapon and therefore cost OM?

Nevermind, I've decided on something different.
