Mind Control - Loki - 03-23-2016 I'm trying to find a middle ground with the whole Mind Control deal. Is there a way to make it work? While it's not exactly a massive deal if it's a no-go, I'd just like to explore the options before I close the door on it completely. The caveats are pretty huge as is; 1 I'd need strict OOC permission from the player to even consider doing anything to do with making their character a puppet, on top of that if there's anything they're uncomfortable with, I'm not going to force it on them. As for IC caveats, Loki essentially needs to focus on it entirely. He won't be able to take part in anything for the duration, no combat, nothing. If there's anything you feel needs to be addressed, please, feel free. I'm open to suggestions! RE: Help me out here. - Yu Kanda - 03-25-2016 If the other writer agrees to this for story purposes i don't see a problem with it. As long as no combat advantages are gained against other players i'd say it won't be a problem. However, during a pvp fight...or using the power on secondaries/assist during combat is always a big no go. But as said before, i don't see why it would be a roblem if its purely for story purposes. I would await reply from higherup though. RE: Help me out here. - Loki - 03-25-2016 Yeh, it's essentially a fodder move/plot handle, nothing that would be used during combat at all. RE: Help me out here. - Mark - 03-26-2016 Yeah, if it's just fodder and everyone controlled agrees with it I'd say you're in the clear. We've allowed other unconventional things for sake of story, so this shouldn't be any different. |
