Is Omnilium automatically obtained upon posting in the Omniverse? Or do I have to repost in the topic where I get my OM again? Just a bit curious is all.

It's automatic. There's no pop-up/in-between page to tell you how much you earned for each post, but if you check your OM count after posting you'll notice it has indeed gone up. (Unless you use the Quick Reply; you'll need to refresh for it to show up.)
