Possibly Hosting a D&D Game (Tenatively) - Gwendolyn - 02-21-2016
As stated in chat, I have felt the need to host a game, and would like to know who is interested (Besides Colonel, I already know he is head over heels)
If interested, Tell me a campaign you're interested in, what character you think you'll play. Just a reminder, THIS IS NOT A SURE THING. I have been incredibly busy as of late, and might not be able to.
(Just in case anybody is wondering, yes, it will be fifth edition)

l'll throw my hat into the ring, at least for now. I'm okay with any kind of setting if someone is dead set on one, but I start a suggestion by saying that I'd love something that's closer to the latter Final Fantasy games (so stuff like airships and magitek armors

Just to have it laid out here with the others, and to collate my own input.
VERY MUCH INTEREST (doge levels of interest and excite)
Planning to roll with a bard, monk, or sorcerer, depending what would benefit the party more/mesh better with the party
Not particularly picky as to what sort of session we get rolling in, but I would like to mention I would second Doomguy's opinion, and such a setting would appeal to me. But the mentioned idea of going with the Rise of Tiamat would also be of interest.

Colour me curious at least. Timezones will probably fuck me over though. I've experience in pen & papers, though I've never played D&D.

I am quite intrigued! I would especially be interested in a fantastic steampunk setting, personally. I always found steampunk themes interesting for some reason, and I also found intrigue in machinery that is founded and fueled upon magic in an attempt to take full advantage of it. I may intend to play a descendant of Music, the character I used in this latest session. It will probably be different in some way, and might not even be of a similar bloodline though. Depends on how lazy I am at the time.

I'm posting tentative interest for this game as well, although given the high number of candidates, I might have to sit this one out.
Due to my limited RPG experience, I don't have any real preferences, either in terms of setting or the type of character I play. Honestly, I usually prefer to make a character that best complements the party composition. Granted, there are times when I might lean towards a certain type of character due to the nature of the story or the setting. But more often than not, I have enough character ideas that I can make a character that will be of some use to the party.
Out of curiosity, what's your policy regarding evil characters?

My policy regarding evil players...Go crazy. If you wanna do an evil character, go right ahead. I'll just end you in an amazingly horrible way somewhere along the way tot he main goal....BWAHAHAHA. Kidding. I feel that if you don't go along murder-killing everyone, then go ahead and be evil.
Concerning the campaign, we will probably be playing either the Hoard of the Dragon Queen or The Rise of Tiamat campaigns. 5e if anybody is wondering.
