I'm in agreement that it could probably use a bit of a rehaul or some adjustments to how it's handled, but I would be all for bringing it back. I would even put in the extra effort to not be a lazy little shit and participate, this time around.

@Dominator; It's a great way to get a bit of quick Feed Back on your writing.
For the rest of you: I was thinking of taking it back to the original version, when it first started and Sarah was running it. It was the most successful version of the system and I think it can still work.

I think it would be more successful if people were allowed to read any thread (other than their own) and be able to post it and critique it.
It's also a nice way to show writers who's been keeping up with their work.

Ah, Book Club. Something I had been meaning to bring back for a while now, but never got around to. :froggonk: Not sure if anyone remembers, but I actually requested recommendations from the community for the Experimental Book Club I was planning. Incidentally, if anyone has additional suggestions, you can still post them there.
In any case, it's heartwarming to see that there is interest within the community for the Book Club's return. =)

Bring it back. Tell people they have to read something outside their like, circle of co-writers.
If it does well, cool.
If it flops, leave it dead because it'll never work.
