Granite? More like Graphite!!! [It's an art pun!] - Granite - 03-11-2016

Hehe! I'm really proud of that title! Don't judge me, rock puns are all I have!  :poop:

Well, that and a super sweet new drawing tablet! Aw man, you guys don't even know how sweet it is to FINALLY have a new drawing pad after like 5 years of having an unusable one! And guess what! I'm offering my drawing services for free! BUUUUUUUT! I want to give priority to those who have OCs that don't have a picture. Course, they won't be all that good. (Mainly because I still need practice, but also because I can't find a good program that will let me use layers without being uber complicated like Gimp is...)   (With Paint.net, painting is a breeze!) But, I would love to take a crack at anyone

Here's a few pic's I've done so far!

Here we have concept art of Granite. Two busts, one being from the side, and a small drawing of the scene where Cat gives Granite the Omnitruth. I drew this picture using Fresh Paint, I found it to be far more forgiving than MS Paint and far less complicated than Gimp.

Here we have a drawing of Cat and my rendition of JasonRen. I had some trouble with the scale, so it certainly isn't drawn to scale. And I coudn't edit/erase any guide lines once I exited out of the photo, so it's still messy. But I'm still proud of this picture!

This picture was made as a joke for Akame (CondomFox/Amber Veritz/Princess Dawny Doo) and as a thanks for being to first person acknowledge my existance. Basically, she called me 'Shark bait'. So I drew Granite being used by Akame as shark bait. This photo was drawn in Paint.net, and I am perfectly satisfied with this program. It's everything I could have asked for!

This is really nice! The simplistic design of Granite kinda reminds me of the animation "Strange Fruit".

Also, I personally use Paint.net to draw my stuff, it's simple to use like MS paint with extra features akin to Gimp.

Man! This program is perfect! I really got to thank ya! Paint.net was exactly the kind of program I was looking for!

Hey everyone! I finally finished my first artwork using Paint.net, and man it is useful! It features Granite and a guest star: Akame!
I call it: Fishing for Bigger!

I'll also be placing any future pictures in the first post for easy access. Plus they'll have a nice little description of the artwork and how drawing it went.

I drew another picture! Well, more like I partially traced over a half covered photo that I couldn't find for the life of me to create a new usable one. It's of one of my old OCs. In fact, he was on my list of possible Omniverse characters, and he shares the same universe/timeline as Granite.

Now, I'm putting a warning that this drawing may not be for those with a weak stomach.

This photo is the original. As you can see, this photo is covered up by text and a smokey bar. Not particularly useful for anything as it is, not to mention the fact that I couldn't find this photo ANYWHERE! Good thing I had a plan for this. All I had to do was dig up an old OC and partially trace over this photo.

[Image: NSUS4Xi.png]This photo is far from finished, but, after a stunningly positive review via the chat, I've decided to let everyone see this rough draft! Now, I plan on showing my progress on this photo. I suspect the next one I'll post will be the final draft. So stay tuned![/SPOILER]
