Chaos to Order - James Knight - 05-11-2018 As the Quarterback of Chaos watched the beautiful technology of the Empire, he wished that all the verses had technology like this. Resources like the ones possessed by the Empire were something that he wanted for himself. Of course, right now he was not here to have a pity fest about what he didn't have. Smacking himself in order to snap himself out of those thoughts, Warren now remembered why he had come here in the first place. His unwanted house guest was probably making more people bloody and dead, and so he had to get rid of her. However, he lacked the resources to deal with the problem himself. Thus, his current idea was a form of outsourcing. What he planned to do was pay the empire to deal with his problem. This was why he had opted to approach the parked ship on Tier 1 and make his way towards it. The place was beautiful, and in truth he wished he had a ship like this. The guns it had alone, if they were operational would make dealing with Yandere ridiculously easy for him. A single shot from the guns could probably make the guy dead if he were a secondary. If it was a Prime who continued troubling him he could at least ensure that he'd have a week of peace without having to worry about getting shanked with that sword. To this day, Warren had a phobia of katanas. While he did wield one, it was only because he was attempting to make himself overcome his fear. Were it not for such a reason he would have discarded the sword. As the regulated environment of the Empire's world Coruscant displayed, they even had the technology to control the weather. This was something that the Quarterback of Chaos wished that he could do with his own technology. Sure he was developing new gadgets such as his NFL-Laser, but it was not enough in the grand scheme. If he was to truly excel he had to overcome his numerous fears. Approaching the Venator Class Star Destroyer, Warren knew once he did this there was no going back. It would burn his bridges with Gilgamesh, and probably cause him to have to relocate. At this point, though he did not care. Yandere and Hecate needed to be stopped. And since he could not do it himself, it was time someone else was paid by him to deal with the situation - once and for all. This needed to end if he was ever to have peaceful dreams. Over the course of the last week and a half, Warren had thirty bad dreams, at least 20 of which involved Yandere, and various forms of Warren dying. In order to buy himself some peace of mind Warren decided that he needed someone who could punt Yandere across the Omniverse to deal with the situation once and for all. Once he was inside, Warren was escorted by one of the Storm Troopers to a lounge and made to wait there. RE: Chaos to Order - Trixie - 05-11-2018 The party Trixie had attended was in full swing and the Sulaco was enjoying a quiet evening of status quo among the night life of Coruscant’s uppermost tier. First watch was almost over as Sergeant Major Chun Li leaned back in her shoddily made office chair, sipping her freshly poured cup of coffee. Every department had reported in for the night and the transition to night operations was going smoothly. Just as she kicked her boots up onto the desk in front of her which housed an array of HD displays, some of which were set to various cameras around the ship, the brunette eyed one at the top. An older gentleman had wandered onto the landing pad and staging area in front of the port hangar doors. Guards from Fox Company were already on their way to him. “Sarge. We’ve got an intruder outside port side hangar. Says perimeter guard let him pass.” A voice said over the radio attached to Li’s left collarbone. Of course. Just as I get comfortable. “Check him and bring him to the guest lounge. I’ll be right there. Sergeant Juno, get yourself to my office.” Chun Li ordered as she set down her coffee cup and grabbed her helmet from the folding metal chair next to her. An affirm over the radio let her know that her replacement was on the way. It didn’t take him long to get there. Passing the on-duty Night Watchman, the Sergeant Major let her hair down and proceeded down the hallway to the lifts. After a short ride a ding signaled her arrived to ‘A Deck’ which was used to house all non-essential personnel and contained the public offices of various 13th Legion officers. As the master-at-arms rounded the corner where the Supply Officer was stationed she entered the guest lounge and saw the man who had entered their perimeter sitting on one of the couches. “You. Why are you on my tarmac at this hour?” Chun Li asked, placed her helmet down on the back of an overstuffed couch, the visor facing her visitor. The woman’s brown hair was let down, freely flowing over her shoulders, instead of in it’s usual twin bun. Her set of clone armor was in pristine condition, having just been acquired from the armory. The yellow accents let other soldiers that she was a senior non-com. As Warren explained his situation the Sergeant’s shoulders relaxed. Shifting her weight against the couch she listened to the man regale her with tales about some Yandere guy and a woman named Hectate. He was offering a considerable amount of money to hunt down and kill two people. It was more than enough to mobilize two companies or even the Special Forces if Bianca would approve. Of course. She may not have a choice once the Captain finds out. Chun Li sighed, taking hold of her helmet she sat down across from Warren and took a cup of coffee one of her personal guards had brought. Taking a sip, she adjusted herself on the couch and sat back. “So, you’ve sought out the 13th Stormtrooper Legion to solve your problem. What brought you to our doorstep?” Chun Li asked. RE: Chaos to Order - James Knight - 05-11-2018 "You can call me Warren Zimmer. It's several problems, but can be compounded into one problem," stated Warren Zimmer, believing she'd want him to cut through to the chase instead of beating around the bush like other people would do. Of course as the problem was one that could damage the Empire's reputation, if Dark Hecate moved her attention to Storm Troopers instead of the elves of the Tangled Green, Warren decided to use that card as a means of dealing with his issues. "See, I know you have an outpost in the Tangled Green. I also have had the displeasure of meeting a Prime and her "Accomplice" or rather "lover" that have taken over my home and have started killing people in the Tangled Green. Chances are that Hecate will eventually start murdering Storm Troopers, or other individuals that you don't wish to have murdered in the Tangled Green," frowned Warren Zimmer as he looked at her for a moment. The Quarterback of Chaos wished to wash his hands of the affair with Yandere Lover, and Dark Hecate. Dark Hecate especially was someone the Quarterback of Chaos wished to deal with by not dealing with it. It could be the problem of someone else. The Quarterback of Chaos then looked over at her. "Since the individuals are too powerful for me to take on my own, I've decided to pay the empire to deal with the problem, in a decidedly lethal fashion." Hopefully they would be able to do what he had been unable to do to Yandere Lover. The Quarterback may have had his NFL-R, but it was nowhere near as good as the one he had back home. Still, it would have to do until he could manage to upgrade himself significantly so that he would have something he didn't have at present. "You see, the individual kicked me out of my house. I believe you've likely read about him on the Dataverse? Yandere Lover?" This part was growled out by Warren because of how much it hurt to relive those memories. RE: Chaos to Order - Trixie - 05-19-2018 While Warren had been talking, one of the personal bodyguards to Chun Li had been keeping up with his story on a data-pad. As Chun Li put her boots up on the coffee table between her and the individual who had been let onto her tarmac, she took the futuristic tablet from her subordinate and swiped through the files on the screen. “Couple things, Zimmer. What makes you think the Imperial Army would have any interest in Dataverse drama?” She flipped the data-pad around and displayed an image of Yandere Lover from one of his many profiles. “Even if the Imperial Army had a garrison in the Tangled Green, it isn’t under my jurisdiction. We’re a Stormtrooper Legion charged with the defense and safety of Coruscant. You’d want to talk to the Expeditionary Forces or the Ranger Corps.” Chun Li’s tone had taken on a stern demeanor. “We don’t care if elves or ninja die to this Dark Hectate. She’s doing us a favor.” The brunette slid the tablet onto the couch and sat up, resting her elbows on her knees. “We’re aren’t some organization you can contract out to go kill someone.” Seeing Warren’s reaction to her words made her pause and sit back, accepting another cup of coffee from one of her subordinates. Bianca has been wanting to get the Captain out of the Capital for quite a while now… “However, I believe your timing could align with our interests temporarily and if you’re willing to cover the deployment cost we may be able to accommodate you during a future mission. I can’t guarantee anything as the Captain and Commanding Officer of this vessel is currently out. I'll pass the information along and get back to you. Leave your information with the Sergeant at the gate.” She said, offering the man a solution. Sergeant Major Li stood up to shake Warren’s hand just as a ship wide alarm went off. The Sergeant on Duty came on over the loudspeaker and mentioned something of an explosion on Tier 2 and that Able Company and Bravo Company were being deployed to assist. RE: Chaos to Order - James Knight - 05-19-2018 "Oh, I believe this will more than cover the deployment cost, thirty x over," smiled Warren as he pulled out a pouch and offered it to Chun Li. If she were to open the pouch there was enough Omnilium inside of it to pay their wages for the next 6 decades, easily. It would be more than enough to cover the cost of a simple deployment in order to free his old home from the control of Hecate, and her associate. When she offered her hand to him to shake, Warren stood and shook it firmly. inserting the pouch into her hand. "I will leave my contact information. I do hope you are able to deal with the problem soon. In the mean time, I'll hope to hear from you when you get started so I can arrange the squad I've been putting together to help with the clearing out of my house." Warren nodded, and then walked over to the Sergeant at the gate was. Once he had left his information and done everything needed, including collecting all of his equipment anew he made his way out of there. There were bigger fish to fry that he had to take care of, after all. The Quarterback of Chaos had a lot on his plate now. If he was going to be ready for the coming storm that was going to hit the Tangled Green he was going to need more men. Eleven men were simply not enough, even with aid promised by the Empire. To that end he was going to ensure he had the resources he needed. His arsenal now wasn't good enough, and Warren was well aware of that fact. So he would do what he should have done a lot sooner. Namely, improve his arsenal to the point where he could take on most of the denizens of the Omniverse. Sure it was going to take him a while, but few things in life were ever easy. |
