The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 01-13-2016 Amber woke up with a big a smile on her face. Today was going to be her team’s first day on a mission without guidance from a teacher at Beacon. That meant this was their first serious mission, and she definitely wasn’t going to let anything mess it up. The youth climbed out of bed and stretched her arms over her head, yawning quietly as her teammates slept. The orange light of the early morning sun crept through the single window in the room. It was slightly cool since the season of Autumn was just beginning. The team members of Team AMBR slept peacefully as their leader awoke. There was Murasaki, who was sleeping on the floor. He was always a weirdo, but since the room was smaller than the team expected, he gave up his bed and allowed the girls their beds so all their stuff could fit in neatly. He slept on his back with only a pillow behind his head near the far wall. He didn’t even have his blanket over him, he was just laid on it. He believed it was smarter with the hardwood floor. Murasaki was a quiet guy, and he didn’t complain about living with three girls even though they forced him into the closet or hallway while they dressed. Bianca slept in the middle bed. Amber didn’t like her to begin with, but she had grown on her. The two were actually quite close now, compared to how Bianca never wanted to be part of a team in the first place. She believed she was too good for anyone, until she was nearly overwhelmed by Grimm and her teammates saved her life. Ever since then, everyone had gotten along really well. Bianca was a lot taller than Amber, and honestly, much more attractive. Even Amber admitted to it, and she was bit jealous of Bianca’s golden hair. The last member of Team AMBR was Rose, who, for the name, she wasn’t quite that feminine; rather short hair and dressed more similarly to how a guy would. Just like Murasaki, Rose was quiet, but she had never been afraid to voice her opinions, and just like Bianca, she was confident in her skill, but Rose never boasted. Her marksmanship was her most notable skill. Using her sniper, Rose could pinpoint targets from distances Amber couldn’t hope to reach with Razorback. Rose fell flat when it came to hand-to-hand combat though, so Amber would always keep her out of their opponents’ range. The team’s leader looked around the room to confirm her teammates were still sleeping. She knew sometimes Murasaki would lie awake with his eyes closed and didn’t want to take the chance of him catching her half-naked. She walked slowly over to him, mostly because she was still half asleep, and nudged his shoulder with her foot. “Yo, Murasaki,” she whispered, “are you awake?” He didn’t move, or open his eyes, but still replied. “Yeah, what’s up?” Phew, she was glad she checked. “I need to get changed. Would you mind facing the wall while I get dressed?” Without saying a word, he rolled over on his right shoulder and faced the wall. To make her feel a little more at ease, he pulled his pillow over his head. “Thanks,” she whispered quietly as she turned to the closet to get her regular attire. Amber grabbed her hoodie from the closet and a skirt from the dresser to the side of the closet. She pulled her shorts down to her ankles and kicked them off her feet, replacing them with the skirt and threw on her hoodie. Her tail slipped through the small slit made in the back of the skirt for such a purpose. Razorback laid against the wall at the foot of Amber’s bed. Seeing her sword there was conjuring imaginary scenes in her head of how today’s battle would unfold. Beowolves falling to their swords, and rifles, returning to Beacon without a scratch to be seen. Amber had high expectations for her team. They all wanted to be as well known as Team RWBY. Those four girls made an excellent team. Despite any minor or major bumps they started with, the four worked as one of the best teams in Beacon’s first year class. Amber aspired to become a great leader, just like Ruby is with her team. If she was a great leader, then maybe Faunus would get a little more respect from humans. Amber was never affiliated with the White Fang, but before they turned violent, she agreed with their cause. That was obvious for a Faunus to think, but she became a huntress to show humans that the faunus are just as much people as they are. Bianca stretched and slowly sat up. Her hair in a mess was the only thing on her mind, until she noticed Amber just standing by her bed, staring off into space. “Hunh? Hey, Amber?” She called out to her, but she was unchanged. “Amber!” This time she fell to her side in reaction to the sudden voice Bianca projected. “Jeez! You nearly gave me a heart attack Bianca!” “Well, you were just standing there and wouldn’t answer me the first time. You’re a handful sometimes, you know that?” Their conversation had woken up Rose. She slumped up off her stomach and up on her knees into a stretch. “Could you guys talk any louder please?” She yawned loudly before she realized she was in her underwear and covered up quickly. “Is he in the room?” She asked referring to Murasaki. “Yep.” His muffled voice came out from under his pillow. “Don’t worry, he can’t see anything.” Amber tried to reassure her, but she wouldn’t tolerate it. “No, hallway. I can’t get changed if he’s in the room. It’s weird.” “Yeah, Amber. I don’t understand why you do, what if he’s staring at you the whole time?” Bianca said, agreeing with Rose. They weren’t as well acquainted with Murasaki as she was. “Because I watch him. He does not peek; he does not care.” She tried once more to reassure both of them this time. “Well, I do care,” Bianca emphasized to Amber, “hallway.” Murasaki stood quietly and walked to the door as Amber tried to defend him again. She stopped when she saw him stand, but she couldn’t believe he would let them call him a pervert when he didn't do anything of the sort. To Amber, it seemed like Murasaki had no interest in a relationship then. Meaning he had no interest in seeing half-naked women without their permission. The other two girls got dressed then allowed Murasaki to return to the room. He returned to his bed area and laid back down. Amber picked up Razorback and slung it over her shoulder. “Alright guys,” she announced to her team, “today is a special day for us. We have our own independent mission. I don’t want to slip this up, and I’m sure you guys don’t either. We’re going to assassinate some Beowolves just outside of Vale, so it should be a cakewalk. However, we should still discuss some strategy before-hand.” “Right.” Said Bianca while she gathered her rapier. “Even the strong need a good plan.” Amber sat on her bed as she continued. “Rose, as always, keep your distance. If you need assistance, yell for us. Bianca, Murasaki and I will take the front line.” “Leave the assisting to me.” Said Bianca. “I’m better at making follow-up attacks rather than taking an opponent head on.” “I’ll make sure to create an opening for you, Bianca.” Murasaki mumbled quietly. His pistol and sword laid next to his bed area. “Then leave their pack leader to me. I’ll be able to overpower it.” “No,” Rose protested, “let’s take the pack, then we can all focus on the pack leader. We’ll fight more effectively as a group against a strong opponent.” “But, the pack leader isn’t going to sit around and watch us kill its pack off. I’ll need to at least distract it.” Amber said. Rose sighed and leaned against the wall behind her. “You’re right. Just don’t do anything stupid or rash. Keep it distracted, don’t take risks.” Amber smiled in response. “You know it isn’t like me to lie.” The four rose and gathered their essentials. Food, water, extra ammunition, then headed out of their room and down the hall. The room of Team RWBY was a few rooms down from Team AMBR’s room. The room stood vacant now because Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang had all disappeared. They told no one of their whereabouts, not even anyone in Team JNPR. Amber was always suspicious of where they may have vanished to, but it couldn’t be helped. The effort it would take to find the team would be too much for Team AMBR since they were more of an elimination team than a recon team and since there weren’t many clues as to how the team disappeared or what happened to them, it was nigh impossible to gather enough information to begin searching. They wouldn’t have any idea where to start looking. Amber was quite upset when she heard that Ruby had gone missing. She never knew Ruby personally, but she did admire her. They were both leaders of a team, and she knew Ruby was a much better leader than her. The things they had done in just one year at Beacon would never amount to the stuff Team AMBR could accomplish in their entire hunter, or huntress, lifetime. The team passed by Team RWBY’s room and headed to get their breakfast, today was going to be a long day. They had to locate and exterminate the Beowolves just outside of Vale. They walked into the cafeteria and sat down in their usual spots after they got their food. The team was mostly quiet while they ate their food. The atmosphere around their table was uneasy. Someone finally broke the silence, and not who they were expecting. “I have a very bad feeling about today,” said Murasaki. The other three turned their heads to look at him. “Wh-What?” Amber asked, unsure of why he would be feeling this way. It wasn’t like Murasaki to say things like that. “What do you mean, Murasaki?” Asked Bianca, confused. One moment she’s being told this day will be great and then she’s being told the exact opposite. “We’re well trained, ‘Saki. We can handle whatever the beowolves throw at us.” “That may be so, but we will be on a battlefield.” The sound of silence swept over the table. “We are thinking in a straight line here. Don’t you three dare expect anything we do to be easy. Overconfidence will lead to termination.” “He’s right guys. Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves, be prepared for anything.” Amber said with a smile. “Right!” The other two said in sync. After finally finishing their meal the team departed for the helipad. There awaited the hovercraft that would take them to Vale, where they would then walk to their destination. They stopped at the edge of town. Amber took a deep breath and looked to each of her teammates. “Alright guys, we can handle this no sweat, but be cautious of the surroundings. Our fight might attract other Grimm.” The three nodded to her with serious expressions on their faces; they were ready for the battle to come. A field laid just outside the edge of Vale, where tall grass stood well above the normal height. A dirt road grew smaller as they got further from Vale. It was just wide enough for the four to walk side-by-side without any of them having to walk in the grass. Silence swept through the air, other than the sound of the wind. It was too quiet, and Amber knew it. The report claimed that Beowolves were attacking anyone who walked outside the limits of Vale. If that were true, why weren’t they getting attacked? Was it because the four were visibly armed and looked more than just civilians? No. Beowolves were on the bottom of the food chain when it came to the Grimm; highest in number, but they lack the brains to make a strategized attack. Everyone was focused. Their eyes watched the grass with unbroken attention. They came to a halt as the grass shifted. Merely the wind? The speed of the wind was too slow to cause the grass to shift so suddenly. That only left one explanation. “Ambush!” Yelled out Amber, and without a second of reaction time, the black beasts leaped from the tall grass. At least ten of them pounced towards the group. Rose retreated quickly with Bianca, where they met even more Grimm. The team was surrounded now. Claws lashed for the blood of the teenagers. Murasaki and Amber slashed their way through anything dumb enough to charge the two head on. As for Rose and Bianca, the two worked well together, but under the current circumstances, Rose was at a disadvantage. It was too close range for a scope. The best she could do is remove the scope and hope the shots would come through quickly enough to take down her opponents. Bianca protected Rose as she shot down their enemies. For the condition of the ambush, Team AMBR was operating exactly as planned. The only problem was the pack leader; it wasn’t there. “Where is it?” Amber asked herself. “Murasaki, you were right,” she said, shrugging off attacks from the Beowolves, “something is seriously wrong here.” Murasaki nodded to her and scanned the line of Grimm that surrounded them. He knew it was waiting for the moment to strike, the moment one of them let down their guard. Amber was loosened up now. The Grimm were a cakewalk to experienced Hunters-In-Training. Amber had begun to have fun now, that is, until it came. The Grimm that was the pack leader, and it wasn’t a Beowolf. In fact, it wasn’t anything like any of the Grimm they had learned about in class. It had stayed back to get the leader of the team out before the others, Amber. The beast was rather small, and looked somewhat like a Beowolf. Its claws came down over the unaware girl’s head, but landed in the arms of Murasaki. He had jumped out between Amber and the Grimm’s attack. The razor sharp claws sunk deep into his forearm and blood began to pour out, and he screamed in pain. “Murasaki!” She yelled, turning back and slashing the unknown Grimm, forcing it to retreat. “Murasaki, are you alright?!” She asked with a worried tone. He was bleeding badly. The claws of the demon had pierced right through his aura. If Amber had taken that hit, she most assuredly would have been killed. “Y-Yeah, I’ve been injured worse.” Amber’s grip on Razorback tightened. The intent of killing this Grimm was in her eyes, anger soared through her veins. “No one hurts my friends! I’m going to kill you!” She rushed in at the beast with her sword raised. “Amber don’t!” Her teammates called out to her, they knew that wouldn’t end well. The monster saw this as a challenge and roared out to her as she charged. Amber returned this with her own roar. Razorback’s blade came over the beast’s head, but it was nimbly dodged. The pack leader swung its arm, slamming its elbow into Amber’s chest. She fell back on her tail-end. “Ow-” Another roar came from the beast, but this time a green smog was released from the beast’s mouth. “Argh! What is-” Amber’s head grew heavy as she breathed the smoke in. Next thing she knew, she was on her back, listening to her teammates call her name as her consciousness faded. When she awoke, she was greeted by Omni. Her first impression was a dream: That this was all fake, nothing more than an illusion conjured by her unconscious mind. There was something different though. Amber felt widely awake, and her sense were way too acute for this to be a dream. No, this was real. She struggled to move when she realized this, but her body felt paralyzed. Now she tried to speak. No dice on that either. All she could do was listen, and think. Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.” What? Rules? Maybe this was a prank, but why would this prank occur at this moment? They were just battling beowolves and someone makes a giant blow-up doll in a pitch black room pretending to send her to a different universe? No that couldn’t even be possible. Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.” Reborn? He’s going to make me live through this forever? I’m stuck here for the rest of my life? Will I even age? What kind of twisted bullshit is this?! And, others? He has dragged in more people than me? Maybe Murasaki or Bianca or Rose is here somewhere too. Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.” He gave her a small glowing ball, it lit up with various, luminescent colours that faded in and out every few seconds. ‘I can summon anything I desire with this glowing orb? Is power by Dust or something?’ Confused on how the mechanics of such an item worked, she turned her attention back to him. He explained finally that he was releasing her into his “Omniverse” and wherever it was, it had to be a lot better than this gloomy place. Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.” Waiting for what you big white bastard?! This makes no sense! In front of the Fountain of Infinity, a weird red cloud began to form. Any on-going Prime could see this cloud forming. Closer inspection showed that this cloud was in fact Dust, the materials used in Remnant to create the effect of magic. The Dust began to form together, and became much denser until it formed the appearance of a female body. Finally, the Dust stopped, then fell. I slid down slowly over Amber’s body, showing her head and hair down to her torso and on. Once her body was released from the Dust, she could move again. The Dust dissipated into the air. Amber inspected her surroundings. “This is most definitely NOT Remnant.” She said to herself. Razorback was gone and she could tell immediately; it’s hard to shrug off losing ten pounds in an instant without realizing it. Her Scroll was missing too, which is what she needed the most right now. “Damn, unarmed and I can’t call for a rescue, or back-up. What do I do?” Omni’s words crossed her mind once more. Quote:Anything you desire can be yours. The Omnilium orb was in her pocket now, she felt as she searched her person. The orb was still glowing, but it didn’t seem as bright before, probably because this place was all white. “Let’s see if that giant white bastard was telling the truth.” The orb was clutched tightly in her hand. She closed her eyes and thought about how her Scroll looked and could feel something. What she felt was like a kind of warmth inside her, and when she opened her eyes, she could see the Scroll forming in front of her. “Looks like it takes a bit longer than I thought it would.” The Scroll formed slowly in front of her, and fell into Amber’s hand. “There we are! This is actually kind of cool. Although, I don’t know exactly why I am here. I miss my team already.” She stood in silence, watching other Primes parade around the Nexus from the fountain. “I’m gonna summon Razorback, then try and call Murasaki or Bianca. See if I can get ahold of them for some back up. The people here look dangerous.” Again, she gripped her Omnilium in her hand. Razorback formed in front of her, looked as If it was going to take even longer than the Scroll. After about five minutes, Razorback formed in full on the ground. She gripped it by its sheath and slung it over her shoulder, buckling the straps that went around her waist and shoulder together to hold up Razorback. “Ah, that’s much better, a huntress feels naked when deprived of her six foot long, ten pound sword-rifle.” Her attention turned to her Scroll, where she tried to navigate to make a call to Bianca. The Scroll wasn’t working correctly though, it was connected to something called the “Dataverse” and Amber couldn’t figure out how to maneuver away from the site. “What the hell is this?” The anger projected outwards in her voice, she didn’t care if the other people stared at her. “I can’t call Bianca, Rose or Murasaki. How the hell am I supposed to leave this place, what do I even do?” Staring at the Scroll some more she became curious. Maybe this ‘Dataverse’ could provide some useful information on the Omniverse. Her finger rubbed across the screen of her scroll, scanning the boards and everything else. Her heart may have skipped a beat when she saw this; ”RWBY - Please Reply.” It mentioned Scrolls and Team RWBY, that couldn’t just be a lucky coincidence. “Y” states their contact info being their full names. “What was Yang’s full name again? Yang Shao...No..Jao, no dammit...Lao- Now I’m just making shit up. Wait! Xiao! Yang Xiao Long! And Ruby is Ruby Rose. It looks like Blake is with Yang, and Weiss with Ruby, so I’ll just message Ruby and Yang.” She looked at her Scroll confused again. “Um...Contacts?” The scroll automatically maneuvered to her contacts. “Oh! Voice automated. Add Contacts, Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long.” The Scroll blinked, confirming the addition of the contacts. “Now to send my message.” Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 02-05-2016 Satisfied with Ruby Rose's response to her distress call, Amber examined the Nexus once more. That's what Ruby had called it. "Those gates must lead to different worlds then?" Before closing up her scroll she caught glimse of her audio log application. That's where she recorded most of her life, with terrible memory that she has, she had to. The application made a light tone as it opened up. Audio Log #3: "Mur..Murasaki? I think?" Today I was unfortunately in town to find some food to buy. I say unfortunately because people in Atlas think most faunus are filthy, no good lairs and thieves. I have my coin that I gathered off the ground, enough to buy a decent meal today, so I don't really have to ask people for food or resort to dumpster diving. Mom and Dad can't get a job here. Being a faunus is a hard life...I approached the small shop that was some kind of bakery, it smelled amazing. The warm bread, fresh from the oven and the smell of delicious sweets like cakes and cupcakes. I entered, my clothes were quite dirty from crawling on the ground in search of pennies and other small change, when I was stopped intantly by the shopkeep. He warned me to leave and I only asked for some food, pleading that I had the money to pay for it. He didn't buy it, nor did he want to do business with me whatsoever. He picked up a broom, which I found a bit insulting, and tried to bludgeon me over the head. Then, I was just a 13 year old girl who could do nothing but hope the strike didn't kill her. I assumed a huddled position where my arms would block the wooden stick from hitting my skull...but it didn't hit me. I looked up relief to see a boy my age had taken the hit for me. I wasn't happy he was hurt in my stead, but no one had ever done anything like this for me. He grabbed the broom that rested upon his arm and yanked it from the shopkeep. The boy said something to that man that 13 year should hardly even understand. "Human or faunus, I have every right to do what you were about to do her to you, and that is none." With that he snapped the broom over his leg and threw it down. The man was speechless as the two of us walked out of his shop. "Here" he handed me a piece of bread that had been bitten off, which he had torn off so the bite he made was taken off of the bread. I took it kindly. "Y-You stood up for me." "Just because you have different ears than me and a tail, that doesn't make me a higher person than you." Was everything he said so insightful? "What's your name?" He looked into my eyes for the first time, the snow gleaned off his bright green eyes, "Murasaki." She slipped her scroll back into her hoodie's pocket once the transmission ended. Murasaki, a name she would never forget. He always defended Amber after that day. Amber never asked for his protection, nor did she nessicarily enjoy the fact that he had taken beatings in her stead. However, she was glad someone had been defending the rights the faunus were suppsed to have. Someone treated her like an equal. She looked down at the omnilium orb in her hand. "If you really can do just about anything, then give me back the friend you took from me!" Her arms outstretched, she watched as the omnilium orb glew brightly in her hand, making the figure of a human in front of her slowly. The size of the body was familiar to her, but the figure was glowing wildly as the omnilium escaped he orb and in xflew slowly into the human. Soon, it looked like a mannequin of glowing light, no noteable characteristics of the human itself. It had taken just ten minutes of focus to make this, anyone else probably would have said screw it,Iit's taking too long to do this. Amber would not accept it, his figure was here, he was coming to this place with her. Soon, the defining features of muscles and hair began to take shape. She wondered if Murasaki could see her, or was in some way in a blank state as he was being summoned. She clenched the orb tighter as his body gave more shape; Ears, nose, and his facial freckles. Next came his clothes, which Amber remembered well. The dark purple t-shirt, and black basketball shorts. It was hard to believe he was from Atlas with that attire, Atlas was covered in snow almost all year around, yet he still wore his shirt and shorts, one time she saw him wear a hoodie. After that, his arm and leg bandages wrapped around his arms. It was almost done. The last thing that came to feature was his eyes, and the scar over his left one. With that, a deep breath came from the figure that was now animate. He shook his head and put his hand over it, like he had a migraine or something. "Jeez, that hurt." "You've always been so straight forward, Murasaki." Amber said with a slight giggle and through herself on to him. "A-Amber? I thought that was you." "What do you mean?" She asked releasing him from the hug. "Well, when you started bringing me here, everything turned white and I couldn't move. What of Bianca and Rose, are you bringing them as well?" He flipped his hair out of his face, it was alwaus getting in his eyes. "Well, I'm weaker here than I was in Remnant. I might have to wait awhile before I am able to bring them both with us." "Right, that would make sense." He said quietly, examining the Nexus and the gates that bordered it's ends. "I say we find somewhere to settle in. All the people here could be hazardous for what we know." Amher smiled, she knew he would have a good idea. "That sounds good, maybe somewhere like home. I wonder if there is a place we could go that is like Atlas." "Well, from what I can see from here, each one of these arches in the distance have different appearances. Maybe that'll give note of where they lead?" "There's also the chance we wont be able to come back to the Nexus, that's what this place is called." She said, trying to be cautious now. "Good point, let's make sure our first choice is a good one. I say we head to one, and proceed clockwise past each one. We'll agree on one to pass through." Murasaki was always a cautious thinker. Amber was glad he was here with her, it was hard for her to make decisions without some input. "Okay, let's take this carefully, Amber said as she began to start walking south-east at a random choice. Murasaki followed quietly next to her. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 02-12-2016 Quote:The post below includes a few curse words and a detailed, non-graphic description of pain. Reader discretion is advised. Damn it. Damn everything! And most of all, damn those trainer-kids… Sabrina pressed her back up against a large tree and peeked around the corner, trying to catch a glimpse of her pursuers. She couldn’t see them, not yet anyway. But she could see the cones of their lamps passing left and right, scouting the forest and searching for her. Her Kadabra was concealing her scent with its psychic powers to prevent the Growlithes deployed by the Officier Jennys, but after her Mr. Mime had fainted after she was forced to engage a dozen of them at the same time, she could not hide herself from sight anymore. How had it come to this? Well… to fully explain it one might need to go way back, perhaps even to when she had been born. In the short version, after she had discovered that she had ESP and was able to mentally communicate with Psychic Pokemon to some extent, she had become a Pokemon Trainer and later a Gym Leader. And she had joined Team Rocket as an admin, become a powerful ally to them and eventually fused the three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres into a new form named Thu-Fi-Zer, to make Team Rocket undefeatable and take out the pesky Pokedex Holders, once and for all – effectively eliminating the last resistance on their way to taking the world over. But, she had been defeated and forced to run. With Thu-Fi-Zer split back into the three original birds, the two other admins defeated and Team Rocket scattered with no leadership, she had had no choice. At least the kids hadn’t caught her, but now she was at risk of the law enforcement finishing the job. Damn them! As soon as the search-party had gone by she mentally told Alakazam to follow her and took a step away from the tree, then slid into the thicket. Had they heard her? Alakazam followed after and she recalled it to her Pokeball for now, so that they would leave fewer tracks. Next came a trek through a muddy river… within seconds her shoes and socks were soaked, and her legs were freezing and going numb, but she smiled to herself at the thought that the Growlithes would not be able to pick up her scent that way. The muddy water would wash away any traces she might have, and the mud would not hold her tracks for long enough that they would notice. After ten minutes of wading she finally slid back out of the muddy water and onto dry land. Had she lost them now? She could not hear a thing… she sat down on a rock near the river, hidden inside some bushes, and took off her boots and socks to squeeze out the water. At least for a while it looked like she might be safe… but that was wishful thinking. She was about to be dragged back into the cold reality. “Hey! She’s over here! I found her!” a female voice yelled and Sabrina cursed. An Officier Jenny was rushing towards her from the other side of the river, with two Growlithes following right behind her. More Officiers would arrive here in a minute at most! No time to put her socks back on… she slipped into her boots and stuffed the drenched pieces of clothing into her pocket then grabbed Abra’s ball and threw it behind herself. “Abra, use Teleport on Growlithe!” she yelled and did not look back to see if her Pokemon did so successfully – though from the shout of the Officier behind her she could tell that at least one of them was gone, teleported to some city. Saffron City, perhaps. But Abra could not recharge its energy in time before Jenny’s other Growlithe used Quick Attack followed by Bite, knocking the psychic Pokemon clean out. It would probably be captured and used as evidence against her, but if she had not used it now it would just have been confiscated if she got caught. With no time left to send out another Pokemon she closed her eyes and focused her psychic powers on the other Growlithe, which caused the simple-minded Pokemon to blink and look around erratically, as it found itself briefly confused. Valuable seconds that she used to send out Alakazam again and have it erect a barrier to block Jenny’s passage, if only for a time. Then the psychic Pokemon followed her again, floating by her side. Behind her the screams of Jenny ordering Growlithe to attack the barrier could be heard, but they would be stalled for a bit. An hour later, Sabrina stopped and caught her breath, completely exhausted. She had been walking or running without break since having nearly been discovered at the riverside, and she was completely lost. Had she crossed the border into Johto by now? No, Mt. Silver wasn’t yet in sight… and it was slowly turning into morning. She needed to get a little rest somewhere… perhaps there was a secluded cave nearby? Alakazam had continued to mask their scents now and she had found a rocky slope where her footsteps left no traces so she felt relatively confident in that she could get at least a little sleep. Once she was in Johto she would have more time to think of her further way, though if she could catch a boat in Olivine City and make off to one of the remote regions of the Pokemon world… A crack in the twigs caused her to flip around, but it was just a curious Dunsparce. She took a deep breath to calm her beating heart and shooed the Pokemon away, then on second thought followed its motions as it rapidly drilled into the ground using its tail. That direction? That must mean that there was a cave… and it was uphill too, it made sense. She waved to Alakazam to follow her closely and made her way up the slope until indeed, she found a cave carved into the side of the mountain. From the looks this might have been made by Digletts or Onix, but it wasn’t suited for Ursaring to live in. She slid inside and found only a handful of Zubats that would likely go out for hunting very soon. Not to worry… she let out Kadabra, her only Pokemon besides Alakazam and the only one at full strength, and told it to guard the entrance and warn them of any Officier Jennys, trainers, Growlithes or other suspicious Pokemon coming closer… and keep the Zubats away from them, too. She really didn't want to get sucked dry by those buggers. Then she threw her wet socks on the ground and pulled the uniform over her head, underneath which she still had her heat-, cold-proof and insulated suit to protect her from Thu-Fi-Zer, so she was neither naked nor cold in the damp cave. The soft uniform served as a pillow for her head as she could really not be had lying her head on some rocks. Her exhaustion quickly overcame her worries, and within minutes she was off to dreamland. She was flying through the sky. Everything was upside down, it turned and twisted, she barely saw where she was as she soared. Right, she had been thrown. But by who? And why? Oh right… a Machoke had thrown her. She screamed as the ground came closer, then she remembered that she could fly. So she extended her wings out but they didn’t carry her, because they were really just a Ditto that had latched onto her back. So she plummeted towards the ground, knowing that this was the end. But as she was about to hit, a black void opened in front of her, and she fell in. She fell through the engulfing darkness, then floated. The sensation of falling was gone, but there was no ground to stand on. She had no idea where she was. Then, out of nowhere a white face appeared, smiling at her, it looked like it was mocking her. The rest of its body followed suit soon after. She wanted to speak, but no word left her mouth. Instead, the white being spoke. Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”What an odd dream, Sabrina thought. But then she realized that she was thinking… that she was feeling. It felt like there was a breeze coming through this blackness, and she could feel it on her exposed skin. So… this wasn’t a dream? Her worries were confirmed when the white figure, Omni, handed her an orb glowing in all colors of the rainbow, and she could feel it between her hands. Yes, this definitely wasn’t a dream. Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.”Thinking, huh… that was what she did best. She eyed the orb in her hands, wanting to ask more, but again no sound came from her mouth. If it didn’t feel so real, perhaps she would have reconsidered if this wasn't reality after all or not. Of course, her silence allowed Omni to speak on uninterrupted. Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. Sabrina darted up from a lying position and gasped for air, before gradually regaining her composure. Where… what, who… where was she? She rubbed her forehead and looked around. She was lying on the ground, near a… a large fountain. Is this Celadon City? The Hell… No, it wasn’t. The fountain looked quite similar but there were no buildings to be seen. Not to mention that beyond a certain distance the tiled ground just… disappeared, turning into white nothingness, like the sky above. Slowly she rose to her feet and grabbed the Team Rocket uniform her head had been resting on. How weird. It was almost like she’d been brought here in the exact same position that she had been in when lying down to sleep… Suddenly things cleared up in her mind. Of course! It must be some well-made illusion, maybe a Hypno’s or Gengar’s, used at a distance to keep me confused and made an easy target. Most Officier Jennys only had Growlithes, maybe an Arcanine at best, but she knew that they occasionally used powerful hypnosis Pokemon to get them to confess their crimes. Well, unfortunately for them psychic powers didn’t work on her, if she knew that she was caught in them that is, because she could force her way out. With that in mind she sat down with her legs crossed after having adjusted the uniform on herself, placed her palms on her knees and took a deep breath as she focused her power. Her hair began to flutter around her head as she searched for the source of the powers influencing her, and prepared a mental strike to break the illusion. But she found no source. No psychic power influencing her mind, not even the slightest bit of trace energies in the air. Shocked, Sabrina turned her powers inwards and attempted to eject any external psychic powers that were messing with her. But again, there was nothing! Could it be… no, no it couldn’t! This couldn’t be real! Her eyes fluttered open and she pushed herself back on her feet, looking around. Alakazam, you must… Wait… Alakazam wasn’t around either, she couldn’t sense its presence even with her ESP! Frantically she reached for her belt but found that there were no Pokeballs hanging there. This can’t be! I’m defenseless out here?! She whirled around on her feet and forced her mind to focus more. They HAD to be around here somewhere, but where?! As she reached out with her perception powers, she soon found herself confronted with a mental barrier. A wall of glass which was keeping her stuck inside her mind… she couldn’t reach out beyond it. And she could swear that she saw a face in that barrier, laughing at her weakness. It was mocking her. It was Green’s face, the bitch that had defeated her not only once but twice… she had done something and now she was mocking her! Her laughter resonated through every fiber of Sabrina’s body and bounced around in her head, which made Sabrina bend over and hold her head as a terrible pain spreaded through it. A pain worse than the strongest headaches she had ever experienced. “Shut up… stop it!” Sabrina yelled at the laughing face. Her head was hurting as if red-hot needles were being driven through her skull with hammers. There was nothing that she wanted more than to escape that pain right now. Because she had her eyes closed from the intense pain she could not see the Omnilium orb that came from her chest and floated before her, waiting for something. The pain in her head, as if her skull was being cracked by the needles, was driving her insane with fear – fear of dying from the sheer pain, fear that she could not escape it. But from the deepest, darkest parts of her mind a new emotion began to surface as she stared at Green’s laughing face. Anger. Anger that was fueled by her pain, that grew bigger and forced the fear back. Anger that erupted at the thought of Green defeating her again in her own mind, of killing her even! She could not lose against that bitch… she had to win! “I’m Sabrina… the Psychic Master! I’ve got the strongest mind in the Pokemon World! I WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU!” She screamed off the top of her lungs, balled her fist and smashed it straight through Green’s laughing face, breaking the barrier as if it was paper-thin glass. The laughter ebbed away from the shards lying around, her headache quickly dissipated, and Sabrina saw the glowing orb of Omnilium that Omni had given her, floating in the darkness beyond the barrier. She took one step forward, passing the limit where the barrier had been, into the darkness, and reached out for the Omnilium. Instead of being material and grabbable however, the glowing orb passed through her hand. But then it came closer as if it had a will of its own, sinking into her chest and covering the area in darkness again as it vanished. But it was only dark for a few seconds… then Sabrina herself began to glow. Her body floated a few centimeters off the ground, she reached her hands out and threw her head back as newfound power pulsed through her. Her body became surrounded in a blue and green aura, her eyes glowed from the inside out – one green and one blue, like her aura – and illuminated the darkness around her. Then she opened her eyes once more, and she saw that there were several bricks that composed the tiled floor, floating around her. The holes beneath them hinted at that they’d dislodged themselves from the ground and had floated up, forming a ring around her. Like herself, they had a glowing aura about them. What is this…? Is this me still? I feel so… so powerful. It felt good. She had only been able to lift a Pokeball or two in her best days, and with a lot of focus. Now she was lifting five or six bricks with little effort. It dawned on her that it was the work of the Omnilium that she had absorbed into her body. She had broken her mental barriers, and gained power beyond everything she had ever experienced before. Her lips curled into a grin, then she let it out with a loud laugh. Her Pokemon were gone… so what? She now realized that she didn’t need them here! In Kanto she was weak, she needed to rely on them to fight for her… but here she was strong! Powerful! In a test of her own strength, she sent the bricks flying away from herself, and though she felt her grip loosening rapidly the further they got from her the strong momentum of throwing them sent them flying a great distance. So this is what the ultimate Psychic Pokemon felt like… what Mewtwo must have felt like when it first woke up. She was disappointed to this day that she had never gotten to see it in action… but the stories she had heard of its psychic powers beyond measure had given her a good idea of it. She had gained telekinetic powers that rivaled that of the strongest Psychic Pokemon, she was able to fly, even use Reflect as she found after trying it out a bit. Her team would certainly be a powerful asset, but for the first time in her life she didn’t need to rely on it anymore. It was a pity that Green wasn’t around, she would have loved to try her new powers on a little guinea pig. But that was wishful thinking for right now: she needed to focus. Right, focus… She needed her Pokegear back, first of all. She might not be the only trainer around here, and it couldn’t hurt to have her digital notebook with all the utilities that it brought. She could inquire about other trainers later… or if Giovanni, Lt. Surge, Koga or other Team Rocket members were around. Not to mention… if anything could be hers with this Omnilium, and if without it she was nothing, she had to have more of it. Much, much more. There had to be ways to find it in larger quantities. But first of all, she needed to get herself situated. She took a seat back on the ground and put her hands together, closing her eyes and picturing a PokeGear. That had to be the first thing she got. She’d think of the rest later. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 02-15-2016 Amber and Murasaki were speaking of what happened at the fight when Amber was attacked by the poison gas. She didn't remember it too well, but it was there. "So, I was angered when the grimm cut straight through your Aura, and I rushed in to attack it. It ended up spraying me with some gas and I became unconscious." Murasaki nodded to her, "yeah, but you disappeared all together." Disappeared? Was that Grimm some kind of agent to that Omni guy? Bringing people into this hellish place for his own fun little game? Amber's train of thought was cut off when she heard the yelling and screaming of a girl where she had just left. She looked...odd, but she seems to be another prisoner here, and new to it. "Murasaki." He nodded to her again without saying anything and walked up to the girl who seems to be summoning something, like Amber did with her items. "You're new here too, aren't you? That Omni thing seems to be pulling people from Remnan-" Wait...She didn't look like she was from Remnant at all. She's seen people from all over Remnant, but this girl didn't seem to be from anywhere she knew of. "Where are you from, you don't look like you're native to the world I'm from." Sabrina looked up to Amber as she had just finished summoning her PokeGear. "My name is Sabrina, I am from the Kanto region." Kanto? That's not a location in Remnant as far as Amber knew. Sabrina's interest peaked on the mere sight of Amber's giant sword. "That sword is bigger than your entire body. How do you wield that?" Sabrina slumped up to her feet and moved closer to Amber. "I um, it's my Semblance." Sabrina was become even more interested the more information she got. "Semblance?" As for Amber, she was becoming a bit creeped out. "Uh...yeah, a power that everyone has that makes their combat ability special. Hunters and Huntresses use them to fight Grimm." This was very intriguing to Sabrina. A power that is used to fight some kind of monsters that plagued another world? She needed this power. "Don't you have a Semblance? Something that makes you special from others?" Amber said taking a few steps back trying to put some distance between her an Sabrina. Murasaki followed Amber, without his sword, he wouldn't be able to do much. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 02-18-2016 Sabrina straightened her left arm's sleeve and put the PokeGear on it, ensuring that it was properly attached and wouldn't slip as she spoke with the other pair. They weren't trainers, she could tell that much - or at least, not from any of the regions she knew. Trainers didn't wield weapons, fighting a Pokemon with one tended to be hopeless. Except guns maybe, but that was different. And the fact that they didn't know Kanto furthered her suspicions - they either must live on a very remote part of the world where not even the world tournament of the Elite Four gets broadcasted to, or they don't live on Earth at all. But, the girl had noted that as well. When the pair backed away Sabrina's lips curled into a smile. Maybe she'd gotten too inquisitive... she should take it a bit slower. If that sword wasn't just for show she would need to be careful. "I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I? I was merely... intrigued. In Kanto very few people have supernatural abilities of any sort. Which brings me back to your prior question - I was brought here by someone named Omni, though the name "Remna" doesn't ring a bell. It may just be that we're from the same world however - we have beings in Kanto that we call Pokemon which might be the Grimm you mentioned, though instead of fighting them ourselves we capture them and have them fight for us, or help us with everyday work and such." As she spoke, she studied Amber and Murasaki without even trying to hide it - sizing them up, wondering what challenge they might be to her if she fought them here and now, if the boy had any hidden weapons or fought bare-fisted... Her gaze was piercing, even though she wasn't using her psychic powers at that time the purple-pinkish color of her iris made it hard to look away if meeting her eyes. "You two know my name, so how about you tell me yours? And Semblance... I wouldn't call it that way, but yes - I do have a few tricks up my sleeve. But telling would be boring, so how about we show each other, hmm?" She looked at Amber's face again and curled her lips into an innocent-looking smile. "A friendly little match, to show?" The ends of her hair began to float loosely, which an observant might just dismiss as them being blown by a breeze, although the air around the Nexus Fountain was completely still. Her anxiety to try her newfound powers and get a little information in the process. Semblance, they had called it. If that girl's was superhuman strength it might be very useful to have. She just needed to find out how it worked. And what better way than to study it in action? Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 02-18-2016 Poke...mon? That was an unfamiliar term to Amber. Unless memory fails her, there aren't any Grimm that go by that alias. "I don't recall the term 'Pokemon'. A Grimm is a being that feeds off of human's and fuanus's despair. We are Hunters and Huntresses. We are warriors that battle the Grimm to protect the fellow humans and faunus of our world Remnant." Amber's eyes looked into Sabrina's. It was tough to look at her and believe her intentions were sincerely friendly. Amber's ear twitched back as she asked to spar with her. This girl looked way to small to take on Amber. Even some of the biggest guys at Beacon couldn't overpower her. Though, Nora Valkerie did give her a good fight. That beast woman actually could deflect Razorback. "Are you sure about that? You're a bit...small to take on me. I'm leader of Team AMBR. The strongest female and faunus of Beacon. I could probably split you in half if I had the chance to land a good shot. Any who, it's your funeral girl." Amber drew Razorback from the leather holster that was worn from the weight it had to carry. The blade shined brightly against the white hue of the Nexus as it spun on it's axis, changing into it's rifle form. "Try not to take a hit too early. I'd like you to live long enough for this to be called a fight, not a slaughter." Amber was feisty when it came to a heated battle situation. This woman was definitely after something, but if Amber had declined, she may have attacked her anyways. This will give her the advantage. Murasaki on the other had backed up to a safer distance. He knew Amber would hate him if tried to jump in on a duel with her. She was always upset about feeling as though people had to protect her, that she couldn't handle her own battles. No. Not anymore, in this world, Amber would become strong. This time, she would be the one protecting others, like a true huntress should do. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 02-18-2016 Quote:FIGHT! Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 02-20-2016 „Feeding off of despair, eh“, Sabrina replied as she folded the neck of her shirt over to have some additional breathability around her neck, and grinned. “We have a Pokemon or two that do that, but it sounds like they’re two different things. As for you, I’d rather worry about even being able to deal damage to me.” She closed her eyes and raised her hands to her sides, forming a “T” with them. “Tell you what… if you win this fight, I’ll give you the Marsh Gym Badge. It might not mean much if we’re not in the Pokemon World, but if I ever set up my Gym you’ll have the bragging rights for it.” Then she opened her eyes and watched Amber take a step back, slightly startled. The woman’s eyes were now glowing - the left one in blue and the right one in green - and the glow extended to the rest of her body, surrounding her in the wavering energy. “Don’t hold back. It’d be a pity to win because you underestimated me!” she spoke. “I never hold back.” Amber replied bluntly and raised Razorback, then took a step forward to attack. Sabrina raised her hand and pointed it at the other. She gathered energy in her palm then fired a sphere at Amber, which the other easily dodged by sidestepping. However, Sabrina had taken the time to amass her full psychic power: before Amber could reach her and attack with Razorback, she had taken off and floated about four meters above the ground – out of reach of someone attacking from there, in any case, even with a sword as large as Amber’s. From there she held her hands together, forming a new Shadow Ball to attack Amber with. “You’re quick on your feet, but how long can you hold it up?” She asked as she began to bombard Amber with the energy spheres, but Amber dodged them time and time again. “Longer than you!” The faunus replied as she drew out the full power of her Semblance. It seemed like Sabrina was feeling pretty safe up there, but she had no idea. With her strength at its peak, she leapt upwards, effortlessly reaching Sabrina’s level, and brought Razorback around in a wide arc to slice the other woman clean in half. Sabrina only barely dodged the strike by leaning back so that the sharp edge only managed to cut a few strains of hair that were fluttering behind her head. She could not have said that she’d anticipated that… how could she jump this high with a blade that heavy? A human body couldn’t provide this much strength! While Amber recovered from the momentum of Razorback’s swing and fell landed after the jump, the Psychic let herself fall to ground level, then pushed herself back off and took to the air, away from Amber. “Is that the Semblance you mentioned?” She asked whilst charging another Shadow Ball, but not throwing it just yet. She was several meters away from Amber; she would be able to dodge it with little effort. Amber remained silent and began running towards Sabrina once more, while keeping focused on her hands to avoid a surprise attack. When she didn’t reply the Psychic shrugged and took to attacking her again, throwing one Shadow Ball after another whilst backing away from Amber to gain as much time as possible, but time and time again she missed and Amber was rapidly gaining on her. Maybe I should…? No, not yet. I can keep this at a stalemate. She counted on Amber becoming annoyed to the point that she would reveal more of her powers. The blade she wielded had several odd parts and seemed too mechanical to not have some hidden trick. Maybe it could be turned into some other bladed weapon – a scythe maybe? Or perhaps it could discard parts to become lighter and more mobile? Her train of thought was interrupted when Amber jumped again and sliced at her legs with an upper cut, which Sabrina dodged sideways. She threw her next Shadow Ball at the flat side of Amber’s blade to throw her off balance, but the faunus quickly caught herself and the Shadow Ball didn’t really damage the steel. It was mostly an attack intended against flesh and blood, after all. After she backed away from Amber to a safe distance once more, she landed to save up on her concentration. Flying and attacking simultaneously was taxing, but as soon as her feet touched the ground and her Psychic Glow withdrew a little she began feeling better. The next Shadow Ball was already lingering in her hand, but she had it loosely by her side. “You’re strong for someone so small… and you jump around like a rabbit. But, what are we two going to do about this little stalemate of ours? You’re predictable when you leap into the air, little bunny, so I can dodge your attacks. But at the same time, I can’t hit you because you’re too nimble and if I got closer you’d slice me in half… and you can’t hit me from the ground.” “That’s what you think…” Amber muttered, not loud enough for Sabrina to hear her, as she raised Razorback once more and took a brief breather to recover; faking that she wasn’t paying attention. Sabrina’s Shadow Ball attack came, predictable as anything, and Amber once more sidestepped and let the energy ball whizz by her torso. Sabrina was already charging another one and surrounding herself with her Psychic Glow after her brief recovery period, but seeing how it took her a moment to charge up that attack it gave Amber a time window to place her own move. Quote:958 words according to MS Word. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Fight Post, Amber(1) - Amber Veritz - 02-27-2016 Amber was just getting warmed up. She hadn't expected any of her recent swings to connect with Sabrina, yet. They moved across the Nexus, the faunus chased down her prey. Sabrina was elusive to her with her ability to fly, but she was slow. Soon, her opponent was going to get close enough to do some damage to her. More attacks came from Sabrina's hand. This was likely a fodder move to build up something bigger. Though it would be best to not let this dark ball of power come into contact with her. It may have some kind of lingering effect that could potentially ruin her chances of winning this fight. Caution would be Amber's best approach; caution and aggression. Sabrina's comment of her Semblance set her caution to a higher priority: Sabrina was analyzing her abilities and attacks. What did she even want, or gain, from that? An advantage about knowing her movements? No. This was something bigger, and Amber didn't want any part of it. "You should worry more about how you're going to not die than how my powers work, Psychic." Sabrina was keeping her away with her Shadow Ball attacks, which slowed Amber down. Even though her Aura Projection helped her move quickly and jump high, Amber still couldn't get close enough. What do I do dammit? Grimm don't use magic like that, and I'm not used to fighting humans. Especially, when their only tactic is running away and attacking from a distance. Jeez this is frustrating me, but keep your cool cat. Anger will only blind me. She needed to switch things up, and quickly before her psychic opponent got a it in first. Sabrina was just about 20 feet away from Amber now. If she could just get a little closer, her head would roll. Finally, a stroke of genius hit Amber upside the head like a paddle. She swung Razorback over head and into it's holster. With this, she could maneuver more quickly. Just like she thought, she was closing in much faster now, 20 feet slowly edged to five. Amber could see the worry in Sabrina's eyes as she saw the faunus's fist reach out to her. THWACK!! Sabrina was flung by the pure force, and landed with a thud on the snow white floor of the Nexus. Amber wasn't going to let up on Sabrina now. Again, she drew Razorback as she ran towards her opponent trying to close the gap again. Using rifle mode would be a bad idea right now, so that will have to wait. An overhead swing came down above Sabrina, who was quite lucky she had the reaction speed to roll out of the way. She was also quite lucky that the ground of the Nexus was engulfing her sword; it was stuck. Amber tugged to get it out, but not before Sabrina charged another Shadow Ball. Unsure of how this move might affect her, Amber reacted with her Semblance. A barrier of pink color formed in front of Amber's forearm, like a shield, and absorbed the blow. Sabrina's eyes could only widen in amazement: What sort of power was this? How did it work? How did Amber do such a thing? "What manner of power do you call that?" Sabrina asked, not expecting an answer. However, she did get her answer. "This is my Semblance, Aura Projection. It allowed me to absorb your attack." Amber didn't care for the big details on how her Semblance worked, and she wasn't going to explain it to a stranger like Sabrina. Once again the brawling commenced. Now Amber was close, and she was going to keep it that way. Razorback searched for flesh as it's blade carved through the air with nearly keen precision. It was obvious that Sabrina had a talent for running and dodging effectively. If only Amber could land an attack with her Zweihander, that would be enough to slow her down, if not kill her. Sabrina was now thinking of a way to get back at Amber for the bruise she left on the left side of her chin. It ached in pain and bothered her. Amber was smarter than Sabrina may have suspected, but she was smarter. She flew up out of reach to avoid any more close calls of that blade meeting her skin. As expected, Amber jumped again to strike, but Sabrina was ready this time. With a quick spin to the side Sabrina dodged Razorback, and Amber retreated due to the force of gravity. Now! A shadow ball formed in Sabrina's hand and came down on Amber's shoulder. "Agh!" She yelled as pain flowed through her body like water through a hose. The attack didn't seem to have an after-effect like she'd thought, but the force was matched with a well placed punch. The Psychic slowly floated back to the ground before the constant suspension in the air wore her out to much and rested. "One for one then," the faunus said standing ready with Razorback pointed at her opponent. "Let us see who will get the second first then!" Sabrina replied to her with another shadow ball already forming in her hand. Amber closed in, but Sabrina again tried to keep distance. So far, this fight was a stalemate. Someone had to break it soon. Quote:Amber used - Super Jump, Razorback(Zwei-mode), and Aura Projection. Re: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 03-01-2016 Sabrina looked down at Amber with her Shadow Ball in hand but she didn’t throw it, instead remaining focused. Amber remained on the ground, knowing better than to attack an opponent that was ready to dodge her if she tried another attack. She would just get hit by another Shadow Ball. “You took my Shadow Ball with little damage, even without that Aura of yours…” Sabrina murmured. “It seems like you’re not entirely reliant on that shield of yours, to take all the blows for you. You’ve got a bit of endurance as well.” This fight was turning out rather… interesting. “Not to mention that you got me pretty good with just a punch. I guess your sword isn’t a fake light thing after all.” “You want to try it, first hand?” Amber asked and grinned up at the other one. Sabrina just laughed and shook her head. “I want to win this. And since it looks like we’re not getting anywhere, let me stop holding back.” The aura around her flared up before she threw her Shadow Ball down and simultaneously stopped her flight, which made her fall towards the ground. Amber sidestepped to dodge the Shadow Ball and brought Razorback around in a broad swing that would cleave Sabrina in half. However, the Psychic stopped herself just beyond the range that Razorback reached and took back to floating, though now with her body upside down and facing Amber. “You may have the strength to attack someone with effort. I, however…” She raised a hand with her fingers forming a claw, and Amber found herself surrounded by the same Aura that the Psychic was using to keep herself floating. “… can defeat you with my mind alone.” As she spoke Amber was suddenly pulled into the air by an invisible force, following Sabrina’s hand. “What the hell is this?!” Amber yelled and attempted another swing at Sabrina’s head, but the Psychic turned her entire body to dodge the deadly blow – although she wasn’t quite fast enough and the edge of Amber’s blade opened a lengthy cut along Sabrina's cheek and temple, which made the latter yelp and caused the psychic aura around them both to flicker. Then she brought her hand down in a violent motion and Amber saw herself being flung towards the ground from around three meters up. Her quick reflexes, accumulated in numerous battles against Grimm and spars with her team- and classmates, kept her from sustaining larger injuries however – she brought her Aura back up and conjured a shield around her forearms, then used that to dampen the impact. Even so, her entire body was shaken from the raw force and her arms ached somewhat. Anticipating another attack she rolled off to the side as soon as she had recovered, but Sabrina didn’t follow up, instead backing away and landing, holding her cheek and gritting her teeth. “What was that you just did? You threw me around, like a puppet!” Amber spoke in a loud tone. Sabrina didn’t reply. Blood was coming from between her fingers even as she pressed her hand on the injury, and she had trouble focusing. She tore off a piece of her skirt and pressed it onto the slash with her left hand. Though this would have given Amber plenty of time to attack, she just shook her sword a bit to get the blood off and waited. She wanted answers, if she killed Sabrina now she wouldn’t get a chance to interrogate her. And the Gym Leader acknowledged that. “That’s right. My Psychic Powers are not just for flying around… and your Aura Projection won’t protect you from my mental grip. I’ll give you that you’re better than I anticipate, if I keep using Shadow Ball you’re going to win. So, I’m taking it one step up.” She concentrated as best as she could and brought her aura back up, but Amber could note that it was flickering. The hit on the chin was getting Sabrina dizzy and the pain from the cut made it even harder to focus. Several red lines were mixing into the green and blue aura, like white cloth being drenched in blood. But she was far from defeated… five of the bricks that made up the pavement around the fountain were lodged out of the ground and floated around Sabrina, each surrounded by its own psychic aura. Then she flung her hand forward and sent the bricks flying at Amber. One brick never hit home as it completely missed Amber. The second bounced off the side of Razorback, the third and fourth she was able to deflect with her Aura Projection which made them fall to the ground harmlessly, and the fifth scraped her right leg, luckily not hitting her straight-on but it did leave a bruise mark. Amber yelped and switched her weight to the other leg, as Sabrina lowered her hand, and the aura vanished. “What now? I have plenty of ammunition to pepper you with… and the closer you get the more likely I’ll hit you full-on.” Amber studied her opponent while thinking about her next move. The hits she had gotten hurt, but she could tell that Sabrina was letting off as well. She was at a slight advantage, but things could still go either way. Quote:886 words according to MS Word. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 03-16-2016 Amber's arms burned in pain at when she hit the ground, and her leg being hit by a brick would most certainly slow her down a bit. Shit, she muttered in a low tone dodging and slashing bricks out of the air while she thought, this fight isn't in my favor now. I need to switch things up, and I think I have just the plan to do that. She grinned through the powder of bricks that flew the air as Razorback bashed them into oblivion with it's blunt side. This was unsettling to Sabrina, especially when she started approaching her. Amber's legs moved slowly towards her opponent. Sabrina couldn't move while floating and throwing so many bricks. It took too much focus to do all of that at once, so if she quit hurling bricks, Amber would be in range to take a slice at her again. As the faunus grew within 15 feet, Sabrina was really getting nervous now; she was getting to damn close. She needed to hit her. Amber's plan was already in motion though, just a little close and with a spin and a duck to dodge the next brick, the psychic hears a mechanical hum. She knew that sword was more than it appeared to be! Amber swirled around with Razorback in rifle mode and started to take shots, assuming a crouching position to help her accuracy. However, the psychic had better reflexes than she thought and only suffered a wound in the shoulder, the bullet found a new home in her shoulder, not passing all the way through. She cringed in pain, but was still able to dodge the rest of the bullets by side stepping and floating around. Amber's clip ran dry and she reached for a reload. "Great, I'm glad you can have reaction speed. I would've hit you in the head if you didn't see that coming." Amber giggled to herself. "I'm not dumb enough to reveal all of my tactics at once friend. "Whether or not I have anymore up my sleeve is a mystery." Razorback went back into Zwei mode as the clip clicked back into it's reload slot. "A...sword rifle hunh?" She breathed heavily holding the new hole in her shoulder and pulling the bullet out with her mental powers. "Good thing I made the assumption that sword was more than just a sword. I knew you would reveal it's tricks soon, only when I got the upper hand. You are much smarter than I had expected." "Never underestimate your enemy. You never know what sort of tricks they can do." Amber said, knowing that her enemy would have more. Amber had one more trick up her sleeve, and it was definitely going to be a surprise considering she hadn't decided to use it when she reached out to punch Sabrina. "This is a most invigorating fight, friend. However, it isn't over yet!" Amber off guard this time and a shadow ball hit her in the arm as she moved to stop it from hitting her chest. Sabrina's onslaught of shadow balls began again. This annoying ass process was really starting to piss Amber off. Grimm don't do stuff like this. It is quite annoying to have to chase down her prey. Although, she knew her prey was much smarter than a mindless beast. She would only have to compensate for it. Razorback went back in to rifle mode as she chased down Sabrina. It was hard to aim while running, but Amber needed a way to get in closer faster. Sabrina would have to dodge to make sure she wasn't hit by Amber's bullets and Amber had to dodge the attacks that Sabrina sent her way. If I can just get close to her I can probably finish this. My claws aren't something that can be seen unless I use them, so she has no idea that I have them. I'm sure she's aware that I have more tricks though. Amber was gaining and out of bullets now. She pushed her self hard to get in after sheathing Razorback on her back and chased Sabrina down. Her hand reached out for her stomach, but Sabrina felt something pierce her abdomen. When she looked down at Amber's hand to see the pink strikes of Amber's claws impaling her skin. "Claws," Sabrina muttered under her breath, "why didn't I see that one coming from a damn cat girl?" Amber laughed at her, "you should have known something like that. Someone with mental powers not thinking so simply?" Sabrina was being mocked now, and that was pissing her off. Her hand reached out and punched Amber in the face with a shadow ball formed and exploded on her head. "Not being smart enough to think I wouldn't retaliate? That is just down right dumb, cat." Amber stumbled to her feet and shook her head. The impact made her brain shake in her skull a little, now she was pissed. "Now you've done it!" She yelled loudly and angrily at the psychic and charged at her. Once again, the process continued. Amber was about to snap if this went on any longer. I on the other hand... I'm going to finish this. Now." She did not fly anymore as the advantage of being out of Amber's range was effectively voided by her ability to use her sword as a rifle. What a tricky, annoying opponent... ah, but she‘d defeat her yet. She had taken on much worse opponents with her Pokemon team, and now their powers were in her hands. On the other hand, Amber had gotten her good… the bullet in her shoulder was hurting like hell, and the stabs in her stomach only slightly less so. She needed to take care of that bullet first. “Ghh…!” She groaned as she reached her right hand – the unoccupied one – over her shoulder and surrounded herself with her psychic aura once more. Amber slowed her steps and kept Razorback at the ready but still drew closer to Sabrina. Then suddenly, her instincts and reflexes prompted her to raise the massive blade and defend herself with the flat side when Sabrina sent something small flying at her. “That’s my bullet!” She exclaimed when she noticed the bloodied metal piece that bounced off her blade and fell to the ground – the bullet that had been lodged into Sabrina’s shoulder moments ago, before the Psychic had pulled it out with her Telekinesis anyway. She gave her a pained grin and raised more bricks from the ground that she began to bombard Amber with, though it only really slowed her advance. She could see the bricks coming, and easily deflected them with Razorback in sword mode. Plus, Sabrina only had one hand she could use with her left one still being on her cheek and her concentration was nowhere near as good as it had been at the start of the battle. The multiple injuries and prolonged concentration to use her various abilities were mentally straining her. But on the good side, she had seen enough: Amber might have more abilities, but Sabrina had made out the bulk of it, or so she believed. Especially the sword-rifle… copying its mechanism might be difficult but she had gotten the rough picture. The other things were not quite as useful to her. It was time to end it. Amber was only two steps out of reach from striking her with her sword, but Sabrina was counting on that. She ripped another two bricks out of the pavement behind her opponent and flung them at her back. Amber was likely aware of it, but she was within reach to attack her – and a straight up trade was favoring her. “Got you!” The cat-girl then shouted and brought Razorback around in a broad swing aimed to slice Sabrina in half at around stomach height, just as the two bricks hit her back, one got her left shoulder and the other got her kidney, on the right. While her blade kept going, the hit in her kidney made her fall forward like a sack of potatoes, caught in the momentum of her sword. And Sabrina took that moment to bring out her last trump card: she had turned her hand to face the palm at the incoming sword and used her Barrier to create a glass-like wall that redirected the blade upwards diagonally, allowing her to dodge under it although the barrier shattered from the impact and she nearly toppled over herself. What she had not taken into account was that because Amber was falling forward and she had ducked, their heads were coming to equal height, and sure enough... BUNK! ... their foreheads were knocked against each other, Sabrina stumbled backwards from the hit and Amber needed to let go of Razorback to avoid its momentum slamming it into her opposite-sided shoulder, whilst she landed face-down on the pavement. She was a fighter however, and a cheap shot wasn’t enough to keep her down. Sabrina herself barely had any time to recover before the catgirl was back on her feet, Razorback in hand and hissing at her before she took a stab at her opponent, which Sabrina dodged by moving backwards, just out of its reach. “I hit your kidney, if we keep fighting now you’re going to risk losing it. Shall we just call it a draw for today?” She asked, semi joking. She would be happy to end it, but she doubted that Amber was going to. “What’s the matter… getting cold feet?” Amber asked, sure enough. Then she pressed her left hand on her right hip where her injury was, and used her Aura Projection to create miniature shields around the spots where the internal bleeding was, forcing the blood back. “We’re only just getting started.” Sabrina squinted her eyes and didn’t reply, nor attack. Instead she observed, trying to make out what Amber was doing with her projection. She could make out the shields forming on her skin, but she didn’t understand what she was doing. As a result, she gave Amber ample time to “dam” the internal bleeding temporarily, leaving injuries that would do for the duration of a fight, though they would need tending to later. Then Amber raised Razorback and switched its configuration to Rifle mode, aiming it at Sabrina who in turn raised her hand, with a new Shadow Ball shaping between her fingers. They both were injured and exhausted. It would be over soon, one way or another. Quote:Word count: 922 / 1000 according to MS Word. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 03-25-2016 The pain in Amber's side was worse than she expected, but she didn't show weakness to her opponent. She held Razorback firmly and did the best to keep her mind off the pain in her kidney. Words muttered from her lips softly, "I wont lose, not yet. If I go down, I go down fighting." Amber spoke up to her opponent, "it's time to mix things up! Be ready or fall to my blade!" Amber had been using her unique weapon for years, she has learned skills with her weapon that would leave others in awe. In a swift wrist movement, the blade spun in her hand and ended up underhanded, and her free hand lit up pink. Sabrina rose a brow to this. The cat could wield a sword larger than her body and a tenth her own weight, yet still she had tricks with it? Her sword was the opposite direction, the blade faced backwards away from her. How did Amber expect to use that giant sword like that? "Fine, then it's time we settle this now!" Sabrina rose bricks from the floor of the Nexus once again, leaving many gaps in the ground. Amber took a quick note of the that. "Begin!" Amber yelled then took off, bricks flying at her left and right. Sabrina was getting too weak to fly, but was able to hover for awhile. She floated up off the ground, but Amber wasn't going through this bull shit again. She used her Aura Projection around her hand to catch a brick Sabrina had flung at her. With a spin and a sidestep to dodge the next barrage of bricks Amber threw it at high speed. The brick flew as fast as a bullet, striking Sabrina in the gut, aggravating the claw wounds in her stomach and surprising her. She hadn't expected Amber to catch a brick. Her focus was on ripping them up, forcing them towards Amber, and flying away. Amber used this opportunity to close in, this time would be the last. Sabrina focused completely on dodging now. If she didn't, Amber would definitely hit her, and good. Amber spun and swung crazily. The blade was like a tornado, intending to tear down everything within it's vortex. Her hand reached out many times to claw the psychic as well. Sabrina proved illusive for now, but for how long was the question. Amber couldn't be anymore pissed at this moment, "hold still!" The barrage continued, then it was time to use the note she made earlier. Amber quickly trid to move behind Sabrina and slash her in the back. She of course had ample time to dodge but kept backing up as Amber led her into a trap. The bricks pulled from the ground left a gap in the floor. Sabrina made some distance between the two of them to stop floating, for it was taxing to use it too long. Now! Amber thought as she charged down her opponent once more, this time dodging what she could on her feet. Unfortunately, they'd caught up to the holes in the ground, where Sabrina twisted her ankle and threw herself off balance. Even more unfortunate for her, this was Amber's plan from the beginning, she drove the blunt side of Razorback into Sabrina's chest. The blade spun through the air with it victim and slammed mercilessly into the ground, which cracked from the sheer force. Sabrina coughed blood as she felt her ribs crack between the ground and the steel."I've had it with you! I'm a child, but I'm not stupid!" Amber pushed on the blade, creating more pressure as she talked, "I know you're up to something malicious, and I wont allow it to continue!" She raised her blade and went for a killing blow. Though Sabrina was now fatally wounded, her mind was still keen. She stopped Amber's blade from lopping her head off by using her psychic powers on Razorback. "I'm not done yet, cat!" Sabrina yelled, spitting up blood. Amber tried her best to hold the blade, but it was too much, and the pain in her kidney acted up as she tensed herself. The blade was ripped from her hands. Amber backed up quickly, Sabrina had stolen her weapon. "Shit!" The Psychic merely laughed, then led in to coughing. How she could still stand was a mystery to them both. Razorback spun in the air as Sabrina controlled it. "What now, cat!? I have your sword! Get close and I'll show you what it's like to be hit with it!" Amber knew what she had to do now. She turned her gaze over to the boy who stood and watched, and winked. Murasaki made no movement, no indication like something had happened. Sabrina, assumes she had merely looked back upon him, then back to her. "Sword or no sword. I don't need a weapon to destroy evil! I will fight, or die trying!" Amber did the only thing she could, it was time to charge and finish this off. Sabrina readied her floating Zwei and prepared herself to move. As Amber approached, she got ready to dodge the imminent attack from her own sword. Sabrina watched as two black shadows appeared behind Amber, splitting off in opposite directions. The boy had joined the fight now, and he was using some ability. He was all black, and the second was as well. Were both of them real? Best to attack everyone then, if that would be possible for her to take on three opponents. Quote:4084 of max. 65535 characters input.(61451 characters left!) / 949 words RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 04-07-2016 Even with her new toy, Sabrina found it hard to take on three opponents at once. Not to mention breathing had become difficult now after her impact between the white floor of the Nexus and Amber's steel sword. She sent Razorback through a fake secondary, Murasaki's clone. The distraction gave Amber time to leap on her enemy. Claws illuminated from her fingers, "Drop my sword, or die now. Your choice witch." Amber snarled in Sabrina's face. Sabrina didn't hesitate, she wasn't going to die now. "Fine, you win." The suspended sword dropped to the ground with a loud clang. Amber rose sabrina as she stood, by the neck and tossed her away. "Get out of here before i change my mind." Murasaki hadn't seen Amber this pissed in a long time. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Undyne - 04-07-2016 It was a good thing that her mental powers were still sufficient for herself to catch her fall and keep her already bad injuries from becoming fatal when Amber threw her. She used what application of her psychic power she could to get on her feet and eyed Amber for a few seconds. Then out of nowhere, she began laughing, though it was quickly interrupted by her coughing and spitting up some blood. She spat it out next to herself, then eyed Amber again. "You forgot something, little cat." She said and reached under her dress, into a pocket hidden just above her chest, then pulled out a small item: a yellow circular trinket with a safety pin on the back, to attach to one's clothes. "I promised you a Marsh Badge if you won. As a Gym Leader I have to give one to anybody who defeats me in a fair battle... though it might not be of much use to you around here. Enjoy it, and congratulations." Amber might also find, if she took closer inspection, that a crumpled-up piece of paper was attached to that safety pin, which turned out to be a flyer advertising for the Elite 4 Challenge of Kanto and explaining the rules of such. Not that any of it applied here, seeing how they were in a different world. Then she turned around and limped away from Amber at a steady pace, without waiting to see if she would actually keep the badge. She was just as likely to consider the gift a mockery or insult rather than an actual token of her victory, and throw it away. And like she had said, it was not of much use here in the Omniverse, at least yet. But, she had made a promise and even though she wasn't in Kanto anymore she still considered herself the Gym Leader of Saffron city; A value she planned to hold on to. After all, what was she without these values? Until she could establish new values in this unknown world, she needed something to hold on to. She walked for some ten minutes, putting a fair distance between herself and the two fighters, though in this wide open white place, there was no real way to "hide" from one another. Amber and Murasaki stood out like two ink dots on a white sheet of paper, and she was certain that she looked the same to them. But unless they changed their mind and decided to pursue her, she considered this to be sufficient for a "Get out of here" distance, as Amber had put it. She needed to take care of herself first... the most important order of business being her injuries sustained from the fight. They needed treatment. She held her arm out and eyed the scratches on it, wondering if the powers given to her by Omni could be used to close wounds and mend broken bones. At the very least though, she could... She placed both hands on her waist, where Amber's last attack had broken and dislocated her ribs. Her psychic glow surrounded her as she began to make use of her mental powers to reverse the damage, placing the ribs back into their place and removing any bone pieces that she could. "Ughhhh... damn. Ow. There we go..." It hurt a damn lot, but after a couple of minutes of careful works she was able to take out the bone fragments and felt up her ribs which were still broken, but in prime position to heal again. Next up she closed her eyes and focused, using her Omnilium reserves to create bandages, disinfectant, cotton and everything else she needed for first-aid treatment, as well as a forked cane to support herself with until she felt better. Clippers and such eren't needed thanks to her psychic powers being very precise at such a low distance, so she could easily remove dirt and pebbles that way. Then she took care of bandaging herself up and finally stood again, some hour after having sat down initially, before actually beginning to think of what to do next. Amber might attempt to kill her if they ran into each other, so she should best get headed some other way. But where? She raised her arms and focused, flying up higher to get a better view of the surrounding area. People were far away, but... at a distance, she caught the sight of a number of individuals, guarding some form of gate. People were good news, she could ask them about the whereabouts... but they were far away, and she really didn't want to walk for hours to... wait. Walk? She landed again and grinned. If she could summon bandages and disinfectant, how about something more complex... like a bike? Once more she focused - that is, after ensuring that Amber and Murasaki weren't following her. She mentally pictured what she wanted, a Magnet Bike fashioned by the same technology as the Magnet Train linking Johto and Kanto, which costed more than a million Pokedollars. And now it could be hers in a heartbeat. Or well, a handful of minutes. A little time went by as she focused, eyes closed and picturing every bit of the Magnet Bike - and of course, an appropriate helmet - as best as she could. She'd never owned one, they were too expensive, but she'd seen them in advertisements and heard of the technology that powered them. She trusted that this place wouldn't require more detailed thoughts to make what she wanted, like mechanical knowledge. But when she opened her eyes some ten minutes after closing them, the shiny machine standing before her brought a smile to her face. Good thing that it worked with hands only, with no need for foot pedals. Her legs hurt too much to use them in that kind of fashion - really, in her current state she shouldn't be driving. But what was the fun in walking? She hopped on, put on the helmet and began to speed away, towards the group of people. Whom, as she would soon find out, were Stormtroopers guarding the Coruscant gate. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Damien Darhk - 04-10-2016 Cyborg yawned as he watched the computer scan earth. Surprisingly it was a slow night at the Watch Tower. Nothing world threatening at the least. He was thankful for the slow night, after the joker trying to nuke Metropolis earlier in the week, it was nice to have such a calm night. Cyborg put his chin on his hand, leaning on the watch tower console. His eyes began to become extremely heavy as he yawned again. "All clear" the computer chimed once again. Cyborg nodded sleepily. He then placed his head on the desk. "Just going to rest my eyes for minute" Cyborg muttered as he began to fall asleep. A brilliant white light illuminated the room. Cyborg jolted awake, morphing his hand into his laser blaster. He looked around the room, or rather the larger blank space. He stood next to an ivory fountain, a soft trickling came from it. "I don't think we are in Kansas anymore" Cyborg said, turning left and right to view his surroundings. "Cyborg to watch tower, Cyborg to watch tower." He said talking into his wrist. "Great... Computer where am I?" "Area unknown" said the the little voice that was integrated into Cyborg. Suddenly a large white being appeared and began to speak. Quote:My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully. Reaching his hand out the large being known as Omni hands Cyborg an orb that constantly changed colors. Cyborg was mezmerized by it as it floated from Omni's hand into his own out stretched hand. Quote:This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most. The orb disappeared into Cyborg's palm, he was shocked at first but he understood somehow that this was a natural occurance in the Omniverse. Quote:You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. With that as quickly as Omni had appeared, he quickly disappeared. With the lack of Omni's presence, the entire area darkened once again. The once bright ivory floor now seemed a dull gray with the lack of Omni's illumination. Cyborg stood there for a moment, still in awe of what he had just experienced. Finally snapping back to reality a strange feeling compelled him to assess his internal workings. Bringing up a a small hologram that projected from his wrist he began to check his hardware. "Computer run an internal diagnostics scan" Cyborg said tapping the hologram. He began to walk forward, deciding that it was better to start moving than to stand there aimlessly. "Internal diagnostics scan complete. Most weapon systems are off line except for two. Flight has also been disabled. Jet propulsion is still active for short bursts of speed" the computer chimed, concluding her report. "Well that's just grea-" Cyborg stammered as he tripped over something cutting him short "OW!" Screamed the source of what caused him to trip. Cyborg groaned as he moved into a sitting position. "Hey I'm really sorry I didn't see you there" Cyborg said. He made eye contact with the girl, cat? Girl-cat? He had tripped over. Well this world is already proving to be interesting He thought to himself. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 04-19-2016 Amber stumbled under Cyborg as he tripped over her small frame and landed on her back. "Gah!" She yelped on the impact. With anymore force she could have died: Her wounds were still bery mug present after her fight with Sabrina. "Fuck! You could have killed me, dammit!" She stood slowly with what felt like could be a broken bone now. Her ears hung low as she spoke. "Sorry don't cut it, you nearly killed me!" Amber let out a frustrated sigh as she placed her hand on her forehead to run away the headache procuring in her skull. "Sorry, it's been rough for me here already. I forgot my manners. Hello, I am Amber Veritz the Faunus leader of Team AMBR. It is nice to meet Mr., nuh...Robot-man." She held out her hand, obviously still in pain, and offered him a hand shake. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Damien Darhk - 04-19-2016 "Cyborg is my name" Cyborg said, concern very apparent as he looked at Amber's disheveled and obviously hurt form. "And don't be sorry, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going. I was trying to figure out where we are." Cyborg gently took the hand of Amber, his own completely swallowing it. He shook her hand briskly before letting her hand go. A small laser appeared from his shoulder and scanned the girl head to toe. "Looks like you've got several broken bones, some are ribs. Doesn't look like you're bleeding internally though which is a good sign, do you think you could stand? I don't have anything on me to help with your fractures, but I can stop the bleeding and close some of those cuts. What the hell happened to you?" Cyborg said, offering his hand to help her up. RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Amber Veritz - 04-19-2016 Amber looked up Cyborg. He was much taller than she'd expected, but maybe that's just because she was five foot, two. She could tell her bones were broken and feel exactly which rub was fractured. "I'll be fine. I'm extremely tough for my size thanks to my abundance of aura." The words of Omni slipped passed her mind again. Maybe she could...no, there's no way, is there? Amber grasped her Omnilium orb, and thought warm thoughts. Slowly her wounds began to patch up, but the fractures weren't going to be that easy. She'll need to find somewhere to rest up. "I think I have it covered. This doesn't provide much help, but it is enough to seal my open wounds." She shook her head and put the orb away. "Anyways, you must be new Cyborg. I am too, welcome to this hell." RE: The Leader of Team AMBR - Damien Darhk - 04-19-2016 Cyborg chuckled at Amber's comparison to this place being hell. It seemed more of a limbo than anything else. Did that mean he was dead? Cyborg shook the thought from his mind, it didn't matter he was stuck here, where ever 'here' was. Cyborg watched Amber intrigued as her own orb had suddenly appeared. He gasped silently as he watched her scrapes and bruises heal and disappear, no mark was left signifying that she had been injured. Not even a scar. Whistling in amazement, he helped steady Amber as she stood. "Well that's convenient. Where to next? That is if you don't mind me tagging along" Cyborg said. |
