Sprites. - Rin Takao - 12-29-2015 Can anybody make sprites for a non-profit game about Omniverse? Re: Sprites. - Stuart Gillman-Street - 12-29-2015 Get a hold of Stephan Reiken, he could help. Re: Sprites. - Albert Wesker - 12-29-2015 The question also needs to be asked, what style of sprites? 8-bit? 16-bit? For what purpose and system, for that matter, so as to know how many frames and animations necessary, would also be good to know. Re: Sprites. - Stuart Gillman-Street - 12-29-2015 True- Sprite can be anywhere between A2600 and PS1. Purpose (Already stated): non-profit game about the Omniverse. 24 frames? Re: Sprites. - Granite - 12-29-2015 Rin Takao Wrote:16 bit. System? PC I guess. I can sprite a few things, but I tend to get orientation a bit wonky from time to time. Aaaaand I tend to have some things scaled oddly... But I'd love to do a thing or two. I was actually thinking of doing an opening into the Omniverse after I finished this one and before I decide to start another project. But being able to help with an actual game, instead of an opening like Desco made. (which is amazing) Re: Sprites. - Corporal Light - 12-29-2015 I might offer my sprite services, but that's a big if. I only just got into it, so I'd rather not do too much to it until I'm certain I at least remotely know what I'm doing. However, for the game itself, I am more than happy to help with anything writing related (plot, character development, dialogue, etc.) if you want me too. Re: Sprites. - Stuart Gillman-Street - 12-30-2015 I could work on text, etc. Re: Sprites. - Rin Takao - 12-30-2015 I'm thinking that I'm going to make on RPG Maker VX Ace, so I will have to research the sprite settings/ preferences for that. Re: Sprites. - Demetri Malius - 12-30-2015 If you guys need any coding, I can help with that. Re: Sprites. - Albert Wesker - 12-30-2015 If you're going with RPG Maker VX Ace, the program has its own sprite generator built in. It's fairly basic, but it certainly works. There's also several metric tons of resources out there floating around, especially on the official forums.
